I sign her up for daycare too while she boards, along with playtime in the weekends. Patsy stayed six days and made some new friends too. Very happy pup! The Lodge is always super clean and well-organized. Plenty of room for the dogs to run inside, as well as outside, when the weather is warmer. The staff always treats me well too. I can tell they appreciate the two-legged humans and four-legged doggies. It's fun here too--a lot of good vibes!

She brought her out with her feet completely soaked in blood. Quick stop was not stopping the bleeding from her nails and she told me 4 people held her down while she just cut as short as she could with no mind of quicking her. After trying to get the bleeding to stop and failing over and over again,I had to go to the vet next door and use silver nitrate sticks and hydrogen peroxide to stop the bleeding and clean her feet. Every single one of her nails were packed with quick-stop, meaning they cut every single nail too short. My almost brand new car with cloth seats looks like a murder scene. I got ahold of the manager and she told me she could not help me with my car or give me a refund. After being told I need to do better at desensitizing my dog and touch her feet (which I do, she is a rescue and I am able to cut them at home) she said that she is not responsible for my car. She refunded me the tip I gave (because you have to pay before) and the cost of the nail trim. My car will need professional detailing and my dog will never have a good experience with a nail trim ever again. I work in the vet field so I know a few things. Never would I ever hold a dog down and quick every single nail as short as she cut my dogs nails. Never would I send a client home in that state. I am very very angry with no solution made.

I have used Ark Veterinary Hospital for almost two years after a bad experience at another local…read moreveterinary hospital. Ark's medical staff has treated my dogs and me with empathy and compassion. Charlize and Ezra have received excellent health care. Drs. Wellert, Suttle, and Hoang have all taken care of "my girls." They consistently deliver accurate diagnoses and manageable treatments. Quality veterinary care does not come inexpensively. But having lived with my pets in Oklahoma, Indiana and Florida, I find this hospital's prices compare quite reasonably. From my experience, I completely differ in opinion from the last person to post on yelp. I would not hesitate to recommend Ark to other pet owners.

Although I was not an established client yet, this place came highly recommended to me by a close…read morefriend. I was very excited to get my fur baby established here after hearing all of the great reviews from my friend. I have been going to my regular vet in my city for many years now. Although it took me 40 mins to get to this place, I was willing to make the drive and switch over to this office instead due to such high quality work I had heard about. Unfortunately I was immediately met by their front office staff who were quite unprofessional. I became aware of the mask requirement when I read a sign and told them I did not have one on me. However, there were two clients present without a mask on. I informed them that I did not need to wear one due to observing the other customers not having one either. They proceeded to let me know that "Well they're just dropping their dog off" and "we have immune compromised people in the back" Not to mention, I had just walked in and these other customers had been there well before I arrived conversing away with multiple staff members.. As I understand from their response: my "germs" while up at the reception area are infectious and warrant a mask, while the germs from the other customers without a mask won't find their way into the back of the office where their immune compromised staff are..... but mine will? I picked my poor dog up and walked out. I called the office and asked to speak to DOCTOR HUBER .. they asked who was calling... it was met with zero empathy or an apology. I waited for a while on hold, finally hung up. I was hoping to hear back from the doctor but I still have not heard anything. I am very disappointed as I had mentioned before this place was so highly recommended to me. I can respect rules and policies in place, but please do better and make sure that these standards are held in place for every single customer. Thank you.

Three days later our Oldest dog got it then a few days after our third fur baby came down with it. Now we board at the Spa so our fur babies can be taken to the vet if anything happens, once again no vet visit. they did not clean Bear and he came home red, sore from going so much. although they said they did clean the blankets because they have laundry service there. now they said they have no documentation of him having diarrhea and would ask the staff if they remember anything. REALLY!!! then they send an audited bill after over 5 weeks to tell me we owe $125 or so for picking them up after Noon! which they also have no documentation of my son picking them up to drop them off at our home before Noon for us! These Fur Babies did not deserve to be taken care of like this. The facility smells terrible so I should have know their cleaning SOPs were not being followed! J.E.

My dog…read morewas healthy when dropped off and stopped eating, got diarrhea and was not taken out in over 5 hours. I was able to monitor my pet in one of their suite options and paid a premium. I called to let them know I was concerned that my dog was sick and found out no one monitors or returns phone calls on the weekends. They feed them and only return between 5-6 pm for pet owners like myself who pay extra to pick up their animal. I also left a message at the attached vet office. Needless to say I was very upset when I saw the condition of the so called pet suite and my dog that never messes in sh..t. Not a spa! Building was dark when I went to get my dog and no humans monitoring any of the animals. They showed up at 2 minutes to 5. The standards may have been better in the past but not now.
