And the food options weren't terrible! I brought some of my own snacks and that didn't seem to be an issue. It's always nice to be able to plan for things in case the kids are picky about what might be available. Some of the pros: good options for rides for little kids, and the majority of the rides and experiences aren't really scary. Cons: entrance ticket fees are quite high, and the older part of the property is on a major slope. Be prepared to traverse hills and take your time. Our favorite part of the visit was the long slide that starts with entering a covered tunnel over the main walkway. I think my child did it about 20 times! I also thought the bumper boats were really cool and the gift shops had some pretty nice options. It was fun to experience this place, but I don't know that I'd ever become a regular. I think the perfect window for kids would be ages 4-7. Probably best not to use a stroller given the slope of the property and any kid over age 7 might not be as well entertained by the whimsical nature of the experience. Overall, worth a visit! Plan to stay for a while to make the cost worth through a while and definitely bring your own food since the options are pretty limited and it seems acceptable to engage in that practice. Cheers!

The cancellation policy made it sound like there would be no penalty if canceled in time, but that was not my experience. The online booking process also included an added convenience/booking fee, which made the whole thing feel misleading. I paid extra to book online and then still lost money after canceling in plenty of time. Customer service was rude and dismissive when I called. Their emails requesting weight-related information were also poorly explained and came across as invasive. My recommendation: do not bother with online booking. Buy in person if you decide to go.

There's a handful of kid rides that kids can go on if they meet the height requirement. There's also a game area, with carnival-like games. But they're freaking expensive; we played the pond one since it was a guaranteed win and the odds of a 3 year old playing any of the other games successfully are pretty low. But it was 6 bucks. There were 3-4 other games in that area. It wasn't a very extensive park. And when we went on a Friday in August, there only seemed to be one of the food trucks open--the boba truck. So that was disappointing. But luckily they had other food, and that food wasn't too bad. Parking isn't bad. There's lots of it and it's cheap, I think it was $2. He's been…read moreasking to go to a haunted house this year so I searched "family friendly haunted houses" and this came up. We decided to give it a try and we're very glad we did. It was a long drive on curvy country roads to get there and it was rainy and extremely foggy, but it made it part of the "spooky" fun! We got here and we were greeted with friendly people and even a sucker for our son. It was only $20 for the 3 of us to get in which is very reasonable and a cheap night compared to any local events and activities we usually go to. The trail was pretty long and we were told to go through as many times as we wished. There were tons of little houses to walk through, a maze, a suspension bridge, a concrete tunnel, a crooked house, and many slides. We thoroughly enjoyed the trail, rain and all! It was well lit with Halloween lights all throughout, so it was pretty neat to walk the trails and see hidden spooky figures in the dark. The castle is so cool! It's a mini haunted house with strobe lights, animatronics, curtains to walk through, etc. Our 6 year old was scared by it a bit and got really brave to go in a second time (which made us SO relieved we didn't go to a legitimate haunted house) so it was perfect and not too scary. They've got hot cocoa, hot cider, cold cider, and donuts for sale (very cheap) too so we took advantage of that while we walked the trail. We can't wait to go here and see it all during Christmas time!
