I'm no Chinese food connoisseur, but my palate was completely satisfied. We had the combo appetizer plate, a great value and a lot of different tastes. For main dishes we tried the Walnut Shrimp (excellent flavors) and the Orange Chicken (the sauce was a touch thinner than I'm used to but good taste). Both served with white sticky rice.The service was very polite and attentive. Prices reasonable. If you get tired of Mexican food, this is a winning alternative. We will definitely return. read more

Not a lot of choices for Chinese food in the area but I really needed a fix of Asian flavors and plain old steamed rice. Very pleasant atmosphere and decent service. We had the lettuce wraps, Singapore noodles and the seasonal vegetable saute with bbq pork. The taste was very good, ingredients fresh and portions large. From where I live in the San Francisco area I would give 4 stars but in Cabo I think it's a great place to dine for Chinese food. I would certainly return when in the area again. read more

We have always enjoyed Chin's but today the lack of service/food quality was disappointing. They served our food and completely ditched us which was too bad because our Mongolian Beef was lacking the crispy noodles (we had maybe 20 tiny noodles) We will always post positive reviews when we have good food to outstanding food but today Chin's missed the mark. Me, I've def experienced better. Service was attentive, nicely decorated and easy to access location. We ordered the Walnut Shrimp, Calamari and 2 cocktails. My issue is the food and timin of arrival on everything The appetizer and main dish arrived at the same time, before out cocktails. Sadly it was lukewarm. Walnut Shrimp nuts were overly toasted and burnt. Shrimp was cook nic a lot but there were only 5 pieces which wa surprising. It was served onto of lettuce and the look was less than desirable. We also had to ask for the rice that goes with it. The calamari was just breading, I actually didn't taste any calamari, it was like they were the bottom of the pan pieces. The veggies served with it tasted like they were stir-fried in old oil which left a bad taste in your mouth. Overall, fairly disappointing. We did takeout. This was close to our resort. Yelp rated 4.3. Sorry, but the beef Broccoli was over cooked and didn't have much taste. Maybe not enough oyster sauce. Combo fried rice, Singapore noodles, and chicken chow mein were just okay. We also got the walnut prawn and spicy chicken but felt like not eating it. We were disappointed when we arrived last night hoping for a good Chinese dinner but found out that the restaurant is closed for business

One probably wouldn't expect to find decent Chinese food in Mexico, but surprisingly, Chin's is pretty darn good. A full week's worth of Mexican food was starting to take its toll. Thanks to Yelp, my husband pinpointed Chin's and off we went in our rental car to Palmilla Shopping Center, which very much reminded me of what'd you'd experience in Summerlin or San Diego. Chin's vibe very similar to PF Chang's. You can actually see them atop the hill from the highway at night if you're paying attention. The red lanterns and neon red sign are easy to spot. It was empty when we arrived, but keep in mind it was a Friday night at 5:30 pm. When in Cabo, we do the early bird dining time. We shared the spicy calamari, fried rice as well as broccoli beef on the patio. With a few beers. I welcomed the green vegetables in the main dish, something I hadn't had much of, favoring tacos and tequila instead. There was a little bit leftover, but not enough to take home and warm up for breakfast in the morning. As Goldilocks would say, "it was just right" in terms of portion size. I doubt that many come to Cabo san Lucas for good Chinese cuisine, but again Chin's was a good surprise. read more

Not pleased with this restaurant. We ordered Togo on several occasions. Rice missing most of the time, portions are smaller then expected. Wonton soup you're lucky if you get one wonton. We ordered sour n sour pork with no peppers and it came half full. I spent 2400 pesos on two items to go. Not pleased at all. read more

Went here New Years Eve 2018. Great food especially as it was Chinese. I am an Asian food fan and i know when i have had something good. Ribs were as authentic as you can get chinese style. Lemon chicken was very good and the vegetable fried rice one of the best I had. Service was sub par but this may have been because of the demand in TakeAway service. The small things... if i use a plate for starters and the utensils i dont expect you to take the plate away and leave the dirty utensils on the table. The decor, location and prices all indicate top service and you mostly have it...it doesnt take or cost much to give clean ones. Small stuff perhaps but sometimes it can make a difference. I would recommend Chins to anyone who wants a good meal in a nice setting and at reasonable prices. The quality of the food was top notch and ostensibly what i was there for. read more

We had dinner at Chin's last night for the first time. Wow! I'm not sure why we have never tried it before. We will most definitely be going back. The food and service was fantastic. The ambiance is very nice. Red lanterns, a beautiful patio and lovely interior. The Walnut Shrimp was served on a bed of mixed greens, dressed with a little of the same sauce on the shrimp. It was the best Walnut Shrimp I've ever had! Shrimp were perfectly cooked, not rubbery. The Mushu Pork was served much like dim sum in a bamboo steamer already wrapped in the delicate pancakes. Delicious!! Pork was flavorful and moist. Our waiter recommended the spicy chicken....that was also fantastic! The portions are generous and we could have just ordered two dishes, but we love leftovers. We will be going back again and again. Probably the only Chinese restaurant in los Cabos, their walnut shrimp is very yummy but is missing just a little more flavor. Maybe salt your shrimp batter before it goes into the fryer? Their Szechuan anything lacks well that Szechuan heat! White rice is spot on and the service has always been amazing. Despite my observations, I come here every month and will continue to do so. Took the wife solo to this little Chinese restaurant in the shops at palmilla. But it's very good. We had mushu pork and egg rolls to begin. The mushu pork was some of the best I've ever had with flavorful plum sauce. It was super good. Next we had some hot and sour soup also solid. Our main course was the crispy sweet and sour chicken with a side of white rice. Super yummy. The service was also excellent and the place had inside and outside. We sat inside with the air. Although the place was pretty empty we were happy as our food came out fast and service was excellent. Our bill was about 50$. I'd recommend this place if u want a break from all the tacos, chips and salsa. read more

We went to Chins last week for dinner. Two people ordered the won ton soup for appetizers. It was prepared differently than usual. It was more of a beef broth with vegetables, but it had good flavor. I had egg rolls. They were average but a little greasy. We ordered two entrees. One , the chicken chow mein was not very good at all. The chicken was dry and again the preparation was not as expected. It was also very salty. However, the highlight of the meal was the walnut shrimp! Arrived late on a Thursday night when another dinner arrangement didn't work out. The staff at Chins was welcoming and assured us we did not need to rush. Last night at Chins started out great. Quaint and cute. Pot Stickers, the steamed ones were awesome. Delicate and delicious. The so called pan fried were deep fried and were dreadful. Thanks for the steamed ones. Meals. We ordered mushroom chicken, spicy chicken and a side of shrimp fried rice. The mushroom chicken came out in a normal amount of time. More than 5minutes later the shrimp fried rice came out and was soggy. Then we watched 2 orders of spicy chicken 10 minutes apart go to another table while I was still waiting for my order. 2 waiters assured me it would only be 2 minutes more, while we watched the waiter and the oblivious chef go at it. It also took more than 1 reminder to get more cocktails to our already disappointed table. Both chicken dishes were good even though we ate in shifts at our table. Also we had to ask for white rice. What Chinese restaurant doesn't serve rice w the meal? While the food was good. The service was l as than poor.
