This second time I went when I felt I could've gotten overcharged, it was an older lady that made it and it wasn't as good as when the young man made it. This little shop is a hidden gem for roasted pork, roasted duck and intestine stir fry. Their sign advertise "Tea House, Hmong & Chinese Food To Go" but I don't see any Hmong food. They used to have their tea and massage table in the spare room to the left. PORK INTESTINE : They charge by the lbs. I recommend grabbing the biggest/fat intestine you can find because it's so much fatty than the small intestine. It just have more fatty flavors and juicy. Or if you want to opt for a healthier intestine, grab the thin or tiny intestine. After picking your choice of meat, they'll stir fry it for you. Their stir fry is never consistent. But I do recommend their dad's stir fry more. His cooking taste a lot better than anyone else there. I just had a plate today that their dad cook it for me, it was amazing! It's just the way I love it. It's full of flavor. I can taste all the sweet onion, sweet and spicy jalapeño, and bell pepers infused into this dish. A little bit of sweet soy sauce and oyster sause adds just the best aromatic and flavor. The texture is supper soft and chewy from letting the meat brine for hours. RATE : 4/5 SERVICE : Their service is great. They will interact with you and talk to you while cooking. RATE : 5/5 INTERRIOR : This place is supper out dated. They barely have any lights on. It's always dark in there. The choice of room decoration is a bit off and dark. It's not lively or anything. It's a bit creepy in there. But trust me there's nothing scary there, it's just dark. They do have a little corner for dine in too. The lobby is really big and spacious but with limited waiting seats. RATE : 1/5 OVERALL : Great place for order food to go. Great service and staff was very helpful and nice! I went in for the roasted duck, and 3 layer fried pork, and also their stir firy intestines and stomach, basically the innards. Pretty clean place, a little bit of a ma and paw feel to the restaurant, so don't expect anything fancy or upscale. Nearly all patrons take their food to go despite having tables and seats. Food/Offering: As I mentioned previously, this place primarily serves Roasted Pork, Roasted Duck and stir fry. They also serve sticky rice or steam rice as well. I exclusively come here for the stir fry. When choosing, I lean towards the pig ears due to its crunchiness but would also add a combination of stomach/intestine to the mix too. You have the options to have it cooked not spicy, mild and all the way to their "butthole burner". Asian spiciness is underrated so be warned when ordering their hottest. 5 of 5 stars Overall: I love this stuff and grew up in a household where they serve different variations but with a Filipino touch to it. I recently visited and ordered an intestine dish, but I was quite disappointed. The flavor was lacking, and there were very few vegetables, due to the young cooks. The main chef needs to be involved in the preparation (cutting them to bite-able sizes) and cook. I used to consider him to have the best intestines in the area, but I will not be returning. I'd say best intestine stir fry in Fresno. You get to pick what parts of innards/intestines, they weigh by pound, you get to pick the spice level as well. The reason I took off a star was the price, I got 2 small trays by weight for about $140. I requested extra veggies on the picture platter and paid extra $2 which was fine but didn't seem like there was actually extra, in there (ginger, onion, jalapeños). Not sure why this place has the reputation that it does. Guess I can't really comment on the quality of the food since I don't eat intestines, but the service is abysmal. We placed an order a month in advance and had a scheduled pick up time after putting down a cash deposit. We show up on pickup day, 20 minutes ahead of schedule, fully anticipating that the food would either be ready, or ready shortly. Upon inquiry, we're told they haven't even started working on it, that they forgot about it. So, another 45 minutes later, and they finally have it ready. Avoid this place if you can, but if you can't, don't expect much out of it. read more

They have the best stri fri pork intestine in town like many had mentioned, I'm giving them 4 star because the food is just that good the 1 star off is for how the place looks. I am excited to find excellent roast duck. Everyone is helpful on the phone and in person. I've had duck in MYC and SF-- and this rivals the quality and definitely is a bargain. Favorite place I go to for roast duck and stir fried pork intestines. Duck is always juicy and succulent and I've never been disappointed and the pork intestines you pick out yourself on which parts you want like large or small intestines, stomach or even ear and they will stir fry it for you, they do offer level of spiciness for the intestines(I'll always get xtra spicy but it's not spicy at all). They also serve roast pork by pound or whole but whole you'll have to pre-order afew days in advance but in my honest opinion I don't think the roast pig is that great. If I was to pay about $250 for a small/medium pig I'd rather buy ducks with that amount, but that's just me. read more

chin!!!!.....i love your food. your roast ducks, i order countless roast pig. intestines etc. but lately i've been in to get food and you've been getting new people to run or work your business and that right there! changed a lot. the stir fry is not consistent no more. i was over charged a few time but caught it. due to the new fella not knowing how to use the weight. and the duck and roast pork chopped messy. smh. wait time was a bit longer then average. 20 min was reasonable but 35min for half a duck and 1lb for intestine. well worth the wait. but most time it can be avoid by having an experience or the og( you) around. all and all. i still support your food and business. but please don't go cheap. read more

To me, their roast duck seasoning is the best I had so far in town. My first time ever having stir fried intestine was from here. The first place I knew of. There is Large and small intestines, stomach, tongue, and ears. I think it's all pork. Roast pork is good cuz the seasoning is probably the same as the duck. Chin's Market is my go-to place in town when I need to order a whole roasted pig for special events & gatherings. I've tried many local restaurants & I've honestly have never had an issue here with their succulent roasted pig. I find the other places to be of no match when it comes to food quality, pricings, & customer service. I understand everyone has a different take on their own version of roasted pigs, but in comparison I've noticed that the other places doesn't have that flavorful taste or crackling noise when you bite into a piece of the pork. Here at Chin's it always hits the spot. The pork skin is always incredibly crispy & has a perfectly dark golden color (do not take it that it's burnt) that somehow manages to stay so for hours, & the meat is juicy and flavorful too. They're also quite popular for their roasted duck (order by half or whole), & also for their stir fried intestines & organs (which is made fresh & ordered by the pound). Btw, did I mentioned that you can also order roasted pork on the go (order by yhe pound)? Customer service here is always a plus. I can recall on an experience where I had to preorder a roasted pig for a last min event (possibly a timeframe of less than a week) that they were able to cater to (which you should always keep in mind that for availabilities, you should always preorder at least a week in advance). But just based on my previous experience, I did have a minor issue for a to-go order where they ran out of rice. How do you run out of rice?! (Lol) It's not a big deal, but when you post that you do sell cooked rice, make sure you have it, especially that it was only around noon. Overall, Chin's Market is a great place for great food. The owner is super friendly but I think he needs more help. Went in this past weekend to get some intestines (they have the best...) and just one customer before me. Was there for over 30 minutes or so... he was cooking and helping other costumers who had walked in as well.
