A teammate and I dined here after a long scrimmage. We came hungry, and although I am new to this area and was a little skeptical about a Chinese restaurant in a small town in New Mexico, I was still eager to have a new food experience. My teammate said her food was delicious and I agree! My plate was very filling (Sweet and Sour Chicken, Egg roll and fried rice) and was worth the price. I'm sure the food is great. However I ordered and was told it would be ready in 15-20 min. I went in to get my order at 20 min and was told they were just starting my order and it would be 5-10 min. We usually visit Chinese Palace once a week for a late lunch or early dinner. We've NEVER been disappointed! I really like the Chicken Curry, and I also like that the food is individually prepared, so if you have a special request, they can accommodate you. Very good food at a reasonable price. read more

Like others before us, we were a little skeptical about the outside of the place. We thought it would be take out only because the building was so small. So it was a surprise to see a nice sized dining room with 8 tables. The food was very good with large portions. Everything was very clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful.
