The business address dropped me into a strip mall with a simple sign that said "massage" and no specific naming. I opened the door to a rousing chiming of multiple bells on the door, looked left and saw a sewing machine ready for action. Hmm...is this the right place? I faint voice called from the back saying ..."you here for the 11 o'clock? Why you not ask for one hour? Only half hour not a lot of time." I apologized as I didn't know how booked she may be, and calling the morning of, often you take what you can get. She guided me into a room decorated on light pink motif and I happened to notice steel pipes hanging from the ceiling forming a "rack" over the massage table...yep this was no spa treatment... I quickly disrobed and got comfortable under my thin massage sheet and waited for Miss Julie to enter. I quickly reviewed my issues with my tight hips, glutes and back. I happened to look over to the table next to me at what could be described as a masochist kit at best. There were blades, knobs and clubs all ready to go. Oh lord.... I laid face down and I could sense Julie climbing up and grabbing the steel poles above the table and starting to use pressure of her toes and heels to work free tension across most all of my body. It felt amazing. So far so good. Often she would find extra tension points, which would cause her to go into her kit and grab a blade and begin scraping out the striations of tissue on tissue to get separation. It looked like the next appointment wasn't showing so I was able to bonus an extra 30 minutes. Julie continued to seek out tension areas and attacked them like a predator after prey. I completed my massage feeling 100 times better than when I walked in and pledged to Julie that I would be back next week. It's not much to look at walking up, and is NOT a relaxation spa experience, but if you need deep tissue massage and want someone to work you over good, Julie is your gal!

You have to call your stylist directly to make an appointment. There is no central booking. 2. As of the date of this review, all Aveda products have to be purchased with CASH. Services are paid directly to the stylist, and to my knowledge, all accept credit cards. 3. Closed on Mondays. (I know this is a regional thing, but it is irritating coming from other markets where this is not an issue.)

We had an amazing experience here! We went in for a 1 hour couples massage, which cost $120. We were led to a back room with 2 large massage tables, which made us both super happy as we aren't petite people. They asked what pressure level we preferred and stuck to it the entire massage. My husband wanted a lot of pressure and the lady delivered. He is very muscle bound and she really dug in, to the point she was breathing hard and told him he was very muscular. Ego stroke? Check! He was in heaven. I prefer a lighter touch and the woman who did my massage was amazing. She gave just the right amount of pressure to ease up my muscles without a lot of pain. Just the right amount of hurt to deliver the perfect massage. We did not have any issue with the credit card machine working. It worked for us. We got over an hour of massage that started with upper back, shoulders and neck and moved all the way to calves and then turned over for legs and shoulder area as well as head and face. We also got hot stone treatment on our backs while they worked our legs. Amazing experience and would highly recommend!
