So I feel I need to update my previous review because I went back tonight out of sheer necessity…read morewhen my first two walk-in choices were both busy and I really needed a massage. This is like a mile from my house but I have driven by en route to other places for quite a while now. It appears maybe it's under new management and for sure they have a different lady than I've ever encountered here. Marie is friendly, easy to understand and communicate with, and she went to town on my sore shoulders and neck and ended with a nice stretch. My biggest beef with them last time is charging more than the posted price, but they have since fixed that. The new pricing is slightly more than my favorite walk-in place but at least it's posted as such and not disclosed after the fact. And Marie was a pleasant surprise.

They massage your head, your hands, and back as well. As I'm pregnant, they were very kind to accommodate to it and just gave me extra time with the foot massage, which I of course appreciated very much. Booking is super easy, just call and they should get you right in. The vibe is alright - the only thing I will say is that you don't get much privacy. So anyone going in to the private rooms will see you getting your massage, which for the price point I guess that's fine.

I was refused a refund for a service I never received after my appointment was cancelled by the…read moreprovider on the day of the appointment without any notice to me. I had genuinely been looking forward to this massage and even left work early to make my 5:00 p.m. appointment. I arrived early only to find the doors locked and no one around. I texted her but received no response. Assuming she might simply be running late, I waited for approximately 30 minutes. Eventually, someone came out of the building. I asked if she was Mindy, and when she confirmed that she was, I explained that I had an appointment with her. Only then did she tell me that she was unable to do my massage because of a situation involving her husband and children. At that point, I was completely understanding. Things happen, and I told her that I understood but would simply like a refund for the massage I did not receive. She refused and told me I would have to go through Groupon. What frustrated me even more was her explanation for why she had not contacted me to cancel. She claimed she had no way of reaching me, despite the fact that we had previously communicated directly through text and she had specifically requested both my email address and phone number. She then said she had accidentally entered the wrong email address and that she had not seen my messages because she receives a lot of texts and emails. Mistakes happen, but what I found unacceptable was the complete lack of communication and accountability afterward. I had rearranged my work schedule, driven to the appointment, waited outside for 30 minutes, and ultimately received no service. After returning home, I contacted Groupon and was informed that the merchant, Mindy, would not approve my refund. I was incredibly disappointed to later find other reviews describing similar experiences. There were also issues before the appointment. You cannot see available appointment times before purchasing the Groupon. When I initially realized there were no appointment slots that worked with my schedule, I requested a refund. I was told the voucher had already been redeemed and that she would not issue one. She then worked with me directly through text to arrange the 5:00 p.m. appointment. Thankfully, booking this way also saved me the additional $10 booking fee charged through her scheduling platform. I cannot comment on the quality of her massages because I never actually received one. My review is solely based on how this situation was handled. I was willing to be understanding about a last-minute family situation. What I cannot understand is cancelling a client's appointment without notifying them, allowing them to leave work early and wait outside, and then refusing to refund them for a service that was never provided. The entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I wish I had read the similar reviews before purchasing.

They were able to fit us all in (only bad thing out of the whole experience is that they had to split us into different rooms, but I didn't really care that much. Massages are for relaxing and not talking with friends!). Anyways, we got the foot massage/reflexology for $20 for 40 minutes. The first few minutes (maybe 15?) were spent triggering reflexology points on your face (which was kind of weird) and a slight upper back/arm/hand massage. The rest of the time was spent on your feet...and it was awesome. The guy I had was really, really good and used the perfect amount of pressure. He was also really gentle when moving my head around at the beginning and was really careful in not messing up my hair (which slightly amused me). PERFECT for everyone - especially runners!! This is my new must-go place when I'm in the city.

We basically had the worst massage, it was painful and left us in worse shape. About 10 min I again reminded them we are here to have our feet worked on, at this point, she grabs the Curel lotion and also tells the other lady something and they work on our feet about 5 min each foot with lotion not massage oil and they were done.
