The first hour was okay, massage wise (minus the excessive stroking down my back and butt), and she convinced me to do another 30 minutes. That's where is went strange. She was massaging my legs while constantly looking for different spa music on her phone. She would find Chinese music while going over and over on the same leg and then find something she liked and watch whatever it was on her phone screen. Huh?? At one point, she glanced over to see if I saw her. The music was orchestra like and not relaxing and then singing in Chinese. At this point, I wanted to get off the table early and check out of there. She never finished the full body massage because she was so distracted with her phone. I've never experienced anything like it. When I went to pay, she tried to tack on another $4 for something I couldn't understand and I refused 3 times to which she could see I wasn't budging. I'm mad at myself for leaving a tip for what was weird and not relaxing. And much of it hurt because I could tell she didn't have good technique and rhythm (I've had many a deep tissue massage in my day and nothing has ever hurt like this one.). She's can't speak intelligible English (or acts like she can't), so I hoped that almost everything she mumbled the whole time, which was a lot, was for my good. Upon arrival I was offered tea, wine, water, or soda. I booked a 90 minute session which included a foot massage and 30 minute back massage. We started in a private room for the back massage and moved to a private area for a foot soak and foot massage. I was given a strapless robe to cover when moving to the different room. The foot massage included an eye mask and a head, neck and hand massage. Nice touch while my feet were soaking. The place is small but clean and welcoming. Nice ambiance with the mellow music. Couple of tips to know: - When making an appointment be very clear with the services you want and when you arrive make sure you double check the reservation. Somehow there was a misunderstanding from what I booked to what they wanted to charge me. Thankfully they corrected it in my favor. - Take your personal items when you move rooms. They do not lock up your belongings or lock the doors when you leave a room.
