I really can't write this review based greatly upon the food. All I had were some wings. And now I'm regretful.
I am basing my impressions of the facility by what I saw during my visit there today. Please see the pictures I took at that time I was there.
The facility was unclean:
Food was piled high in open pans unprotected and ostensibly from the lunch rush (so I was told). This was at my visit at 4 o'clock in the afternoon 1-13-2016. Nowhere near as apparent as the very chicken wings I had ordered. Literally in a pyramid about foot tall, un-refrigerated next to the fryer.
SOME of the not-completely-cooked chicken wings were placed DIRECTLY in front of the fry baskets. This places the food *directly* in the top segment of "The Zone".
Either they're ignorant of the microbiological reality of that or they're lazy. Either way, very not good.
Even the lights above the cook area were coated with a yellow glaze of oxidized grease. I'll favor at least lazy and unconcerned as a minimum mindset of the above paragraph. That is being charitable. I was the only customer present most of the time during my 20 minutes stay.
The cafeteria segment, as small as it was, was not in good condition either.
The tables were dirty, the dispensers for napkins were empty, and the bottles of sauces were encrusted with the remains of the stuff they contained and peoples greasy hands. I have pics of that too. Not appetizing either.
I suspect that the local health department would make hash of this restaurant. read more
