Stupid Yelp erased my great review but put all my pictures up. Grrrr. I just moved. I don't like the places around me so much. There's not a lot of options and some of those options aren't good which leaves even less options. So friend works in Malta and we've been trying out places in malta. Two nights ago we ordered from China Wang. I'd never heard of it and I don't always have good luck at new places so I was kind of wary. And I learned why it's important to always try new places because sometimes they can surprise you with how good they are. I ordered a lot because I wasn't sure if I was going to like the food because normally if there's an order of both beef lo mien and general tso chicken one tastes horrible and the other ones great and it's always roll the dice which one is going to be but in this case they both taste awesome. Because I was afraid it was going to not be good I also ordered appetizers. Lots of appetizers. Also very awesome. And they provided lots of Fortune cookies. They were not stingy. So I ordered shrimp toast, the usual crab rangoons and fried chicken wings as appetizers. For the main meal beef lo mein, General Tso chicken with white rice and steamed vegetables to go with the general tso's chicken cuz sometimes people don't put broccoli in with it. They put broccoli in with theirs. But it's always nice to have extra broccoli. I think I started with a shrimp toast. I'm pretty sure I've only ever had a choice before in my entire life. I don't remember the first time the second time it was burned and greasy . This is the third time those pieces were big . They are stuffed. They were fried and crispy they were greasy. I've decided shrimp toast is a greasy item. And I learned last night during the leftover stage they taste awesome as leftovers. Then I had a piece of chicken . It's fried chicken I don't know what they put in it but it has a flavor that I cannot even Hazard a guess at that is so fantabulous . It just makes my mouth water. It is also good as leftover cuz I just had a piece third day that we've had it in our fridge and it was awesome . A nice little mid-morning snack. Friend who doesn't like new things and has no taste buds didn't care for it he said it had a flavor he didn't like I think that's the flavor I love and neither of us know what it is.. Then the crab rangoon. They were good but again everybody's using a wrapper I don't like. I don't know what kind of dough it is it's a wonton or egg roll it's just not fragile and delicate it's tougher? It's just okay. It tasted good the night we got it. It tastes good last night when I had one. To be fair I had two because I had them before bed and they were chewy and crispy and just yummy flavor and they were that midnight snack you need. The beef lo mein had so much meat and they were big pieces. It had that velvety texture but also the texture that it was very well Mallet tenderized. It was just so yummy. My only issue was when I called to verify that they put bok choy and Sprouts in it which they do I forgot to ask if they put anything else in it. Unfortunately for me and my stomach they do put onions in it which are my stomach's mortal enemy. I didn't realize at first but as I was chewing I kept crunching into a vegetable that I didn't recognize so I called them up and verified they put onions in it The owner was really nice I could hear him very clearly and he said next time let us know what vegetables you do or don't want and we can make sure you get exactly what you want. Going back is not an option because I'm nowhere near them. That being said all the food traveled really well. The containers traveled really well and the food held up as leftovers. My roommate got General Tso chicken. He said it was good. I had some the next night and it was better than good. It looked beautiful. It was as beautiful reddish color. It did have chili peppers in it and I remember him saying cthis is spicy, I just but into a chili pepper. I offered to take the chili pepper out for when he had his leftovers but he said nope leave it in. Whatever we didn't eat we put in the fridge for the next night which was yesterday. When I opened up all the food Then I mixed the steam vegetables in with the general tso's chicken. The general says chicken had such a great flavor such a great color and it was very saucy. I know it's Saucy cuz I spilled some of the sauce on the ground which was very devastating. I'm kind of clubsy. It was so yummy it had such a good crunch and texture and such a good flavor. Definitely ordering it again. It wasn't mine but I had some. The steamed vegetables and the General Tso's chicken came with their own rice and we got a lot of fortune cookies with good fortunes. I didn't go to pick up the food. I know that they're on Dunning Street in malta. I forgot to ask roommate how everything went but he didn't say anything when he got home so I guess everything went perfect.

Just another Chinese takeout store. The food was about similar to what I have eaten at other Chinese takeout places. The location is close to Malta fab plant, GLOBAL foundries which just went Public recently. The location is thriving year over year as more people move away from the city and move upstate. Not sure if this would be my first choice. If I was looking for a South East Asian place to dine I may pick the other Thai or the Japanese restaurant that are close by.

Honestly, this is like Chinese food from Utah back in 1980. It's THAT bloody backwards, this cooking. Really bad quality. I am hoping we finally get a Panda Express at the level served on the NJTp because that is 1000 times better than this...which is a very sad statement from this Washington DC girl. It's pretty hard to do worse than Panda ! The vegetables in the Hunan tasted canned and severely overcooked. The sauce was so "whitened" that it barely qualified as a sauce. It was weird, white sauce, nothing "hunan" about it, had a little heat but zero flavor, The steamed dumplings were a small wonton wrap with a filling and not even as good as that. Ugh. So very disappointing. Delivery was perfectly fine.

The crab rangoons tasted like sweetened cream cheese and were cooked a little long since they were darker in color. The general tso chicken itself was fine, but the rice was not good. It had a metallic taste to it. The egg roll was also not good. It was very brown in the inside, heavy on cabbage and was just mush. I would not order from here again.

Tasty Chinese continues to be better than most takeout places I've tried north of the Twin Bridges…read more It's not on a par with Ocean Palace or Northeast Chinese in Albany, but well above most places in Saratoga County. On a return visit I had Wor Shu Duck, which I would recommend to anyone because it's a Polynesian mashup (supposedly developed by Trader Vic in Oakland) that is hard to find anywhere these days. A deboned duck is formed into a sliceable loaf with wonderful duck skin on the top. It's usually served with a sweetish almond sauce, but Tasty had a brown sauce I didn't love. Still a must in my book. Also tried the Double Sautéed Pork, which sounded like twice cooked pork belly but isn't. Tender velveted pork loin slices are mixed with a lot of vegetables and served with the same brown sauce as the Wor Shu Duck. Get one of these dishes but not both. Also got a tub of hot and sour soup for $6.15, a bargain these days. It's good with heat, vinegar and bounteous ingredients. Tasty has bowed to peer pressure somewhat and they now serve those fried noodles American-style with your take out order, though the noodles are fresh and probably made in house. And there are no longer coupons downloadable on the website, but they've been replaced by an efficient online ordering process at https://tastymaltany.m988.com/order/menu.aspx .
