Service is ALWAYS friendly. Food is hit or miss. Typically it's good, but just like any restaurant, sometimes it's not so great.

A typical Buffet, sushi selection was good, chicken options were full. Service was good, came by to grab empty plates and fill drinks often. Had the usual Chinese Buffet look, but that is fine as long as it's clean. I didn't think it was bad. read more

Ordered 2 meals with shrimp in them. One with fried shrimp. They didn't devien the shrimp. Absolutely disgusting. We ate about 3 of the fried shrimp before realizing it. We ended up throwing all our food out because we were so sick to our stomaches. If they can't be bothered to do something as simple as deviening shrimp, then I don't want to know what other gross practices are taking place at china one. Located in the KEM Plaza, China One is a typical strip plaza Chinese takeout restaurant, which is an order at the counter place with open kitchen and self serve seating. The place could really use some updating. There's a broken payphone still mounted to the wall. The typical standard Chinese menu offerings (most items under $10) are offered here including 40 Lunch Specials served with pork fried rice and choice of soup or soda (Mon-Sat until 3PM, $4.50-$6.00) and 33 Combination Platters served with pork fried rice and egg roll ($6.20-$7.00). I ordered the L25 Chicken Lo Mein ($5.00 plus tax) with Pork Fried Rice and Hot & Sour Soup. The food order took a while to be ready (approx. 15 minutes) and there were no other customers here either. The portion of food was good, noodles & rice served in a round microwavable container and hot & sour soup came in a pint container. The lo mein dish had a salty taste which had firm noodles, vegetables and soft boneless chicken. The fried rice (golden color) was cooked right, and had peas, carrots, onions, & small pieces of roast pork. JUST HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We order from here sometimes 3-4 times in a week and they sent us the wrong order so my husband nicely called to get it corrected and give back the messed up one but they said they would not redo our order because they can't make a double delivery then wanted to refuse giving us our money back but finally said she'll send the delivery driver back with it , IF HES COMING BACK WHY NOT SEND OUR CORRECT ORDER ! The lady who answers the phone has gotten multiple orders wrong so how dare they blame the customer for HER mistake ! Smfh i am beyond furious and they just lost great customers !!!!! read more

While staying in town at the Blue Moon Motel, my Matilda and I decided to order out for Chinese food. After searching around we decided that China One was the place for us. A wide array of options, and a very helpful staff who was willing to combine items to make a single dish within my dietary restraints were the first wonderfully positive aspect of the restaurant. They did inform me that the restaurant was too far from the hotel to have the food delivered however, so we had to pick it up. Normally this would seem normal, until I drove to pick it up and it was on the same street, 6 minutes up the road. read more

The staff is friendly. I was picking up an order for my family that had a variety of dishes. Beef, chicken, soup, two different kinds of rice, spring rolls and chicken wings. Everything was hot and prepared correctly. They have generous portions and the wings are good sized and meaty. There probably I prices are competitive. I enjoyed what I got, Mongolian beef, and my family said they liked what they got. I would order from hear again. I would recommend this business. read more

Ordered delivery from here and what poor quality. It took 1 1/2 hours from to time of order to delivery. Food was cold, rice was dry and stale. I ordered the roast pork lo mein, the pork was slivered so small it was dry, no vegetables in it just noodles and slivers of pork. I won't be going back here again. read more

Haven't even tried the food yet, the delivery experience has been excruciating. We put a specific note that the driver needed change for a $50, not a big request on a $32 order. He came without change. His solution? Take my food back in his car and go to the store to break my money. So after an hour of my food sitting in his car, he finally returns, and the transaction is complete. I bring the bag inside, open it up, very excited to have a sip of grape soda (haven't had it in years) and instead, it's orange soda. Have ordered from this Chinese restaurant for 7 years. Was our families favorite Chinese restaurant. I had asked the previous owners if they could make me coconut chicken that was not on the menu years ago. They made it for me and it was amazing so they created a new menu and added it to them menu. Unfortunately new owners purchased the restaurant as the previous owners opened a new restaurant in Broadalbin NY. Since then the quality of the food has never been the same. I pay $10 for the coconut chicken and each time I hope it to be the same quality as I once ordered it. For $10 I eat less than a quarter of the dish and feel sick to my stomach. The chicken is so over cooked it is too hard to bite and chew. It honestly hurts my teeth. You can not even tell it is chicken. It looks like fried tempura batter that is over fried with thick coconut milk on top. My dogs are happy though. Would not recommend. :( read more

I would rate this place zero stars if possible. The other day my wife and I placed an order for delivery. I order sesame chicken, and my wife had a beef eggfuyong. Took 50 mins to arrive, and after I paid $18.00 for what I assumed would be mediocre Chinese food, I get back inside an open up my container and before I eat anything I cut open a piece of I don't know what kind of meat, but it damn sure didn't resemble any part of a chicken. The meat had a old brown looking color. My wife's food also contained some unrecognizable meat. So I called the store back an the same Chinese lady the originally took my order answered, I spoke calmly and respectfully and I told her about that disgusting looking food that I was not going to eat, and asked if they could make a different order to make up for it, or at least a refund be issued. I get an excuse filled with lies about how she can't do that and that I placed my order over two hours ago, which was a straight lie and for the fact that they took 50mins to deliver. So I angrily tell her that I will be at the store shortly, I was so mad I wanted to go throw that trash of food right in her face. I hang up, and my wife is telling me to calm down, so she called her back and tries to handle the situation, just to be talked to very rude and unprofessionally an ultimately told that she's not giving us anything and call the police, and she told us to stop calling. So my wife so called police, they don't help as usual. And so we are stuck with $18 worth of garbage and to top it off if I was to drive to her store that night I would have been arrested for assault if I returned that trash straight back to the face of that trash mouth woman that work at the store. So my genuine advise, avoid ordering from this restaurant that must be in some violation of the health code. Go to China Wok in the plaza between wal-mart and pricechopper. They have extremely good Chinese food, and nice people. read more
