My husband always gets General Tso's Chicken I usually get beef and Broccoli but this time we added shrimp fried rice for my granddaughter, and I changed it up and went with sautéed mixed vegetables! The combos come with wonton soup and egg rolls. It was all so good and we have enough left for a full lunch tomorrow! Our whole Oder was $46!!! The restaurant menu simply had clips from the paper menu taped into it...which in and of itself is okay. But or menus had different prices by $1.25 per entre. Both had been updated, but obviously they had changed again. Businesses have a right to make a profit in this economy, but it was a tacky smack in the face. Dining here was going to be more expensive. The shrimp and mixed vegetables came out as scallops and mixed vegetables. The waitress knew what I had ordered so I was happy to see I hadn't mis-spoken my order. It was replaced rather promptly with a HOT correct meal. I tried the Singapore Mai Fun and it was awesome, though not as spicy as I would have expected. The wonton soup is good and wontons appear to be handmade. The dumplings are pretty standard fare. The fried rice is very good. The quality has been consistent and the service is always friendly. We switched from No. 1, to Red Bowl, finally to Golden Palace as our go-to Chinese restaurant. My daughter doesn't like the fried rice (too many veggies, she says), so more for the rest of us. The Chinese mustard is hot. They are currently offering only takeout (and that is all we have ever done).
