Very friendly with a great massage. I arrived without an appointment and was seen right away.

Called today at 7:01 pm and made a reservation for 7:30! Booked an uber and went there and when I arrived the lady came out and showed me on her phone that I had to wait 45 minutes so I declined! No apology no offer to make it up! They Wasted my time and $30 in uber charges there and back! Unreliable and don't speak and understand English fluently! read more

China Massage Spa - My initial phone call - Massage Therapy Near Me - Woburn, Massachusetts

I need regular massage as I do lot of gym work and as such I've had massages at many establishments. This is hands down the best massage in the area. Very professional, easy to schedule and in 8 years I have never had a bad massage. I've even had the owner give a massage and absolute expert and all therapists have similar and well honed skills. I've also recommended some friends go and now they are regulars. read more

So first off, took ten minutes to get the 2 therapists in the room for the couples massage. Massage begins and what a sh*t show. Who fkn pulls down underwear and massages butt cheeks for 20 minutes. Seriously??? My fiancé is in so much pain after the massage....he feels violated. Not ok lady Never going back read more

I wanted to support a local business during these hard COVID times so I booked a couples deep tissue massage at this place. The person massaging me was super rude. At one point she kicked my shoes out of her way. Generally the massage people instruct you where to keep belongings. There was no communication from their side. I don't think they believe in things like customer satisfaction and hey just care about he money that's why the first thing they asked me was cash as soon as I enter the place. Throughout the massage I felt like a piece of dough and masseuse was just throwing her weight on me. I have been to several massage places and this was my worst experience. In the end, I asked them if they use oil or not in the massage because that was missing from massage. The masseuse started shouting saying that its up to us if we want that. It was okay not to have oil but I just wanted to know but she not only went defensive but started shouting arrogantly which was not required. Please don't go to this place. You will be wasting time, money and energy and will end up as a dissatisfied customer. Update: Next morning I had a chronic back pain which js very unusual after a massage session. Now I hate this place. read more

Lady was very weird, answer her phone a few times and left the room on multiple times. Massage was ok, it was $70 for an hour and I gave her $90 and she looked at my dumbfounded. $20 is more than a 20 percent tip. Do no recommend. read more

If you need to get in and get a massage ASAP this is your place. This is my go-to, day of, emergency massage place. It is no frills, tidy, but it is very reasonably priced and gets the job done. If you are looking for something fancy you should go somewhere else and pay more. If you are looking for a massage that gets the job done, with no wait, and that has the best price around, go here. Bring cash. Be aware that you will not be able to provide detailed instructions since not everyone there speaks elaborate English. (Which, honestly, is great for a massage when you just want silence.) read more

Horrible experience. As soon as I walk in I was asked to pay, the woman did not introdu herself (I still don't know her name), it took about 10 min for her to come to the room. When she started, she was so rough, she was actually hurting me. At one point she told me In a very rude way to relax, which was impossible. I finally asked her to use less pressure cause it was painful, she told me that if she used less pressure it would not be a massage. I can tell you, that was not a massage, it was torture, she didn't know what she was doing. She left the room 3 times. The next morning I woke up all sore and with 4 bruises kn my back. I do not bruise easily and I'm not a crying baby BTW. She was rough and rude. I do not recomend at all. read more

Just drove 40 mins for a massage and as soon as we walked in the women asked us to pay - we told her we would pay after and she said okay "cash only" we did not have cash on us and this was not mentioned to us on the phone when we booked or 1 hour prior to us getting a confirmation call. We said we have a card or can do Venmo. She said no - so we left. Waste of a Saturday drive and now no Valentine's Day massage! Would NOT recommend! read more

I bought my wife a gift certificate here for mother's day last year (2019). Between life and COVID-19 she didn't have an opportunity to use it until today. Unfortunately, that was "too late" for China Massage Spa. You see, their gift certificates expire in one year and they were unwilling to still honor it. Lastly, it would serve the owners well to know that this is illegal in Massachusetts as all gift certificates must be good for at least 7 years. To say the least, I'll be reporting them to the Office of Consumer Affairs. read more

We booked a couples massage and had been looking forward to this. But it ended up being the worst experience of any massage I ever had. The "masseuse" seemed to have no idea what she was doing. Absolutely clueless rubbing and touching. Her movements were so hectic and rough I got tense and angry and felt worse than I did when I walked in. I doubt she was trained. Will NEVER go back. Seems like the good reviews are from years ago. A lot can change. All the recent reviews suck. Don't go! read more

I don't usually give poor reviews but I wasn't very pleased with my experience. I went for a couples massage and the masseuses were not very friendly. Poor customer service and overall communication. Worst off is that they rushed us out as we were getting changed. And the masseuses were speaking to each other most of the time as my gf and I were getting our massages. The massage itself wasn't bad but it just wasn't what I expected. read more

I almost hate to recommend this place in the fear that it gets too popular. Having just moved to the area from San Francisco, my expectations for Asian businesses (groceries, etc) wasn't super high. I'm always happy when I'm pleasantly surprised which doesn't happen often, but here I am. Par for course at these spas is the informal "appointment" process. I could have lost our place in line since anyone could have arrived and said they had called in. However, when the session started what happened was one of the best therapeutic massages I'd received in recent memory, or maybe ever. Deep pressure where it was needed, and an almost clairvoyant way of finding every spot that has had nagging pain and eliminating them. Coupled with their smiles and great attitudes, and my wife and I are sold. We drove over an hour to go to the area in order to do some epic Korean supermarket shopping. I can safely say that a stop to China Massage will be an essential part of any foray to the Boston area. read more

I had got a gift certificate to come here for mothers day. I decided to call and book an appointement for a dual massage with my fiance...they asked what time and we were hoping 8 pm. They book until 9 for walkins but can be open til 1130. So we entered and they asked us how long. We told them 1 hour. They have a menu there and online. They told us to get undress to put clothing over there. Asked if we had questions or concerns....we told them our body parts that needed help or that were problem areas. My fiance enjoyed his and wished it was longer..I can't speak for him but my massage was fantastic. Soo much better than envy or element. I feel like they perfected the massage. We are going to make this a regular thing because our bodies needed this and this place knows what they are doing and their price doesnt change. They dont lure you in for a 50 dollar new client and then if you return it's like 89 dollars. They let you relax and dont kill you with questions. They can feel if you tighten and ask if youre ok. Very very pleased with this place Thank you Lei and Judy You also get a card if you visit 10 times you get a free 20 minutes...and the double massage counted as 2! We will be back....we will be regulars read more

I seriously dont know where these misleading 5 star reviews are coming from. Unfortunately these reviews are the only reason I came here, as I am from out of town visiting my family in Woburn, and used yelp for recommendations. I usually get a deep tissue massage every 3-4 weeks and by far this was the worst one I have ever received. To make this review straight to the point: 1. Little use of massage cream. 75% of the massage felt like she was trying to rub my epidermis off with her dry, bare hands. 2. I asked several times for her to press deeper. She used her elbows and pressed into problem areas for about 5 minutes and then went right back to exfoliating my skin with her palms. Clueless on what deep tissue is. 3. FINGERNAILS AND DRY HANDS. Not very pleasant when you have fingernails digging into your skin. Also her knuckles (when she decided to use them) felt like sandpaper. 4. I mentioned how I have very tight shoulders and chest. Solution? Continue to gently rub my shoulders and STERNUM with her palms. How does massaging my sternum bone help? Not once did she massage my pecs. 5. Didn't touch my hands or feet, and basically grazed over my legs for about 5 minutes. This massage was basically 1 hour of her lazily rubbing her hands over my back. Please do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else if you are looking for a quality massage. read more
