We have been going to China King for over 10 years now. And even though we moved 2 years ago, we still drive for almost 30 minutes to our dinners from them. It is the ONLY place to get really good food. Always hot, always fresh and the store is always clean. read more

I have been coming here for years! China king has the best sweet and sour chicken and I love their pork fried rice. The fried dough is my favorite for a little dessert. They have great prices and are always friendly when you come in and pick up your order. The restaurant is very clean and conveniently located in Faith plaza next to Shop n Save. The VERY BEST wonton soup I ever had. The meat inside the wonton is delicious. It actually tastes like meat! The wonton is perfectly cooked; not mushy. The Crab Rangoon is excellent. As were fairly new to this area, and I Love Chinese, we thought we'd try it. What a disappointment: the fried rice was hard and crunchy (probably under cooked), and the sesame chicken coating was also hard, not firm, but hard. Luckily the chicken and broccoli was decent. This is just how a Chinese restaurant in a small rural town should be. The son of the family works the till, doing his homework behind the counter between takeout orders. The young daughter sings and dances around the restaurant. She has covered one of the three tables with her markets and paper, but it doesn't matter. The tables are just for show and the stray out-of-towner who happens by. Each wall has at least two calendars on it, the parents argue in Chinese in the kitchen, the portions are obscenely large and cheap. My General Tso's was sweet and drenched in sauce, but somehow everything was just what I was looking for. The people watching was delightful - a steady stream of take-out orders from locals just off work. You're getting just what you should expect - which is just fine by me. read more

We have eaten here for several years and have virtually watched their children grow up from playing or doing homework behind the orders counter to now taking the orders and handling the register. The family is always happy and helpful and the food is delicious. and never greasy. There is another Chinese Restaurant in town... but when you get very stale Fortune cookies, it makes you wonder about the rest of the meal. Not so with the China King. Everything is fresh and made to order! And, depending on the size of your order, you get anything from a free can or two of soda or a full 2 liter bottle. Prices are excellent as well. read more
