Tried this spot for lunch with the wife and saw a few vegetarian items to order with our veg fried rice. We had the condensed lunch menu so I had to ask if they could do a kung pao tofu. We were the only ones in the entire dining by room so both dishes arrived in about 10 minutes. The fried rice hit the spot. I look for the darker color rice rather than the oily fried white or yellow rice we have found at a lot of places. The Kung Pao was definitely double salted. I flagged the staff down and stated it seemed the kung pao was double salted but was told no it wasnt. I said no really its overly salty and he said thats the way kung pao comes. My wife stated it was inedible due to the amount of salt and that the rice was lovely. He took the plate and walked off. No apologies, no indication if they would recook it for us or offer of any other options. He simply disappeared into the kitchen for a while. I stood at the register to simply pay so we could leave. When he finally came to ring us up he did not charge us for the food we didn't eat which was fair. I just wish service was a bit better as we left still hungry and picked up a slice of pizza on the way home. Really odd and unfortunate experience- as the rice was good and had it not been for the salt, the kung pao had promise- though it lacked the peppers and peanuts I have been accustomed to.
