Went with a large party on a Sunday after church so we had to wait a little while but didn't mind. Other parties with less people were seated immediately. Seated with drink orders taken immediately and we were off! While it was very crowded, I felt they did a good job to keep the food well replenished. Does anything set this place apart from others? That's usually what I look for when I go places...what would keep me coming back? This is like a lot of typical chinese buffet places but they had things that are different ..Coconut chicken, Hong Kong style beef stir fry to name a few that I don't see commonly at other buffet places. A lot of stir fry options as you can see from the photos... No snow crab legs or anything. Sushi bar was okay...small but not too many people getting sushi. They had to refill the soups several times as well. I also never get pizza at these places but this one was surprisingly good so had to give it a mention...cheesy with a thin crunchy crust. I give this place a big fat 0!!!! We went during lunch hour around 11:45 thinking the food would be fresh and hot. Unfortunately the food was cold I asked the waitress for soy sauce as every Chinese restaurant would have well she said they did not have soy sauce so my food was very dry absolutely no flavor at all whatsoever!!! On top of that the floor was soaking wet!! And people were complaining about the water on the floor I even told the waitress and she said she would get it up well she didn't. We wasn't offered any refills on our drinks either...... I have never been the type to complain or give a bad rating at a restaurant, but this was absolutely ridiculous. If you pay good money to eat at a restaurant at least make the food and service enjoyable for goodness sake! It's safe for me to say I DEFINITELY WONT BE COMING BACK TO EAT HERE. So i was eating my food with my family and then when we got the receipt i noticed a tip. When i notified them about this they said 5 people mean 12% so i said no it's eight, and she wants to start bickering. Oh and did i mention my child fell on some food that had been dropped. The sushi here is really good. Seems fresh and there is a lot to choose from. The buffet has a huge selection, with soups, salads, desserts, rice and noodle dishes, meats, veggies, seafood, dumplings, and more. There's even a hibachi bar by the sushi. Pizza and onion rings etc for kids or weird friends who dislike chinese food. Although I love the food, the staff are kind but not very attentive - hence 4 stars instead of 5. You may wait a while for plates you're done with to be taken away or need to chase someone down for a drink refill. read more

Never had an issue till Yesterday, got severely ill from their food (im betting it was the sushi and or the sausage slices, both looked like they sat out for a *Long time*) After retching in thier bathroom , i walked outside while my roommate handled the payment, i called from my car to be discreet (as to not cause any panic in the offchance it was me overeating,) they went on like a broken record pinning "i had covid, it hasto be covid. not thier food." and barred us both from returning for awhile. We had a party of 15 tonight for a birthday. First, we were told we couldn't use the party room due to staff shortage after being told on the phone that we could. 10 minutes after being seated, they opened up the party room for other guests. After seating us at 2 large tables, we gave our drink orders. After getting our food, my niece decided she wanted a coke after first ordering water. As our waitress walked away, we heard her say "Then why did you order water?" When she returned, I confronted her about her attitude. She chose that moment to pretend not to speak English. I had heard her speak English prior to this. When we checked out, the girl at the register refused to remove the 12% tip. When we told her how dissatisfied we were with the service, she began laughing. I kid you not. We have eaten at this restaurant multiple times since its opening and the food has always been delicious. But based on the service we received tonight, I doubt we will return. And that's a shame because the food is always wonderful. read more

Their food is delicious, so I hate to do this... I was there last night and one woman was responsible for putting out fresh food. I noticed she wasn't wearing gloves, which wasn't the end of the world for me. That said, I saw her in the bathroom towards the end of my meal, and after she came out of the stall she didn't wash her hands. I left behind her and watched her go back through the door to the kitchen immediately after leaving the bathroom with dirty hands. This is really a serendipity! We found this buffet on our hiking trip to Linville Gorge. They have the best egg tart! They have a variety of chicken and shrimp dishes, which are all absolutely delicious. They even have a little sushi bar. I love their dessert selections. They have butter pecan ice cream, which is lovely! Would definitely visit again if I travel around this area. read more

So I'm going to start this off by reviewing the food. Everything tasted old and was soaked in oil. The sushi was bland and the shrimp sauce was disgusting. We also saw little kids in the back touching the food and picking at the string beans. I completely lost my appetite! As for our service, when we walked in I nicely asked for a booth. The lady said that there were no booths open when clearly there were barely anyone dining in and most the booths were open. Our waitress didn't talk to us or barely even gave us eye contact. The only time she said anything to us was when she asked what we wanted to drink. At the checkout desk, there was a girl (seem to be around 11 or 12 years old) running the cash register. It takes forever for them to refill your glass. The 1 waitress that they usually have is so extremely rude!! And they have very young children working at the front desk when you go to check out. There is a huge sign before walking in with prices for dinner (after 3) and lunch (until 3). Got our bill and it said $19.90 for 2 dinners.... we were there before 2:00pm and getting charged the dinner price. Get to register and was informed all day Sunday is the dinner price. So we've been back many times since the last review and it doesn't seem to matter if it's a weekday or the weekend, 5:30 or 8, the food always tastes fresh and is nice and hot. Disappointed!!! I went to China king for the first time yesterday. I ordered take out. The staff greeted me friendly and helped me make my order. Take out should be made fresh and taste great. I ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, wonton soup, and beef lo mein. My wife and I both agreed that it didn't taste right. The chicken and beef both tasted old. As if they were frozen and thawed or just reheated leftovers. The flavor was off and very disappointing. The soup had no flavor. It tasted like warm water. The noodles were off tasting as well, maybe from the beef in them. We didn't take more than a couple of bites of any of it. We threw it all away. It cost almost 40 dollars. Very disappointed. We won't be back. You can tell that whoever cooked this food doesn't really care about cooking good food. read more
