Crispy chicken and Wan-za, a spicy seafood dish.
David Y.

I'm updating this review because I got to eat China Inn for the first time in years. I read that they changed owners and also changed their menu, with disappointing results. I also read (and heard) that they went BACK to their old menu. When I went this past weekend, they had the same old menu. If you eat China Inn, I HIGHLY urge you to try the Crispy chicken dish instead of your normal American Chinese dishes. It's one of my favorites in Nebraska. China Inn is still a great restaurant and I will try to hype this place as much as I can.

Fried fish in spicy sauce

Authentic and delicious Chinese food! The green beans are incredible and they have plenty of vegetarian options, which the owners happily recommended to me. It is clear they care about their customers and their service is excellent. The food is authentic, not your typical Chinese take-out! Definitely a favorite :)

Fun place to visit on a rainy night...provided it's 2001! Why is this place still open? Didn't that dysentery scare in 2003 ruin this place?

The food was not tasty; not a good chinese restaurant. I tried the beef with garlic sauce and it was a disaster.

Chinese food is good. The lady in the front desk is nice. The only negative thing is that light is too dark.

Best Chinese in Lincoln. Peanut butter chicken and four seasoned green beans are a staple every visit

Wonderful brunch and service…read more Got a traditional breakfast. Service was fast. They had a small handful of gluten free options, which I greatly appreciated. Seems like their sausage is handmade in house. Make sure you get a reservation booked, we got very lucky to have been able to walk in on Mother's Day for brunch.

Wonderful restaurant in downtown Lincoln. We had a party of three and got to taste each entree…read more Invariably there is a winner... not this time. All were delicious and I would have each based on my mood. My starter drink was a Blueberry Mojito, which hit the spot. Rum, blueberry, lime, mint, and soda. Refreshing, mild, and on ice. My wife had a cucumber gimlet. "It was incredible." Food started with a unique "flight of three" soups. We each got to taste the Lobster Bisque, French Onion, and Roasted Red Pepper Gouda soups. We each picked the French Onion as the clear winner, but the others were expertly made and tasty. My entree was a starter offering, the Tuna Poke Bowl. Scrumptious, light, and filling. Served chilled in a stone bowl with chips. The Atlantic Cod and chips were great, with a couple of dipping sauces. Perfectly fried. The third dish was a lunch special, it was a pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, roasted baby tomatoes, in a red sauce sprinkled with feta cheese. This was so good. We broke down and ordered desserts. The Green Gateau cake is chocolatey with a hint of pistachios. Also had the Apricot Napoleon Torte which is baked up in Omaha and is renowned. Service was superb, thank you Ben! with a relaxing atmosphere, classy decorations, and fun time. We will be back!
