Not surprising, because I ordered at the counter, went to their bathroom, and the food was ready when I came out in a couple of minutes. The rice was nauseating and I threw most of it out.

I've never…read moretried them before so I ordered a few things: *Shrimp Egg Foo Yong with Shrimp Fried Rice with extra shrimp - Very good and flavorful - Nice big pieces of Egg Foo Yong and actually decent-sized shrimp (which were fresh) in the fried rice. I think all Chinese places use the same gravy recipe...lol *Sesame Chicken - The chicken was fresh and nice-sized pieces, but the sauce they used to make it was a bit too sweet - less sugar in the recipe would have made all the difference - Also I couldn't find any sesame seeds on the chicken? Sounds picky, I know...but I like it when they cover the chicken with 'em! Oh well! *Shrimp Egg Rolls - They were just average and a tad overcooked, to be honest. *Fried Scallops - Not much flavor and not very tender - I'd skip those if I were you! LOL! *Egg Drop Soup - Every single time I've EVER ordered this from ANY other Chinese place, the soup has a bright yellow color....This soup was actually a dark yellow color, which was disturbing. I tasted a VERY small amount and it was pretty nasty, not gonna lie! I think it was day-old soup and I discarded it. AVOID IT!

Mooshu was very tasty and wife loved the wonton egg drop soup. So far, I am very pleased with the quality of the food, speed of delivery, and accuracy of my order. Oh, my egg rolls were good too! We got the Sesame Chicken, Pad Thai, and Cheese Fried Wontons for takeout…read more Everything was okay, but I found the Pad Thai to be very disappointing. It was not really Pad Thai noodles, but vermicelli noodles cooked with chicken, onions, eggs, and water chestnuts (it did not come with baby shrimp as their online menu said). The sesame chicken was more on the bland side. Additionally, when I had called, I asked if the chicken in the pad thai could be replaced for wheat gluten as their online menu said that most chicken or pork dishes could be, but the woman who answered did not know what I meant even though it was on their website, until another person got on the phone to inform me that they could not make that dish with wheat gluten. So their name is not China King, first of all. It's Grand Shanghai Restaurant. I say this because…read morethe actual China King is down the road. I accidentally ordered from this restaurant and had to drive a bit out of the way to get it after thankfully catching my mistake and deciding to get it anyways. It's a disappointment because the food is not as good as the other. The service was meh. As you know, these are pretty short encounters so there's not much service necessary. Not a lot of time to leave a bad impression. But they were actually notably slow, and when I pointed out the naming error they kind of gaslit me. Once I said I was picking up an order and wanted to make sure I was in the right place, they magically remembered that, "oh yes! China king is our old name." And they retrieved my order. They asked me what I wanted for sauces then calculated a total to charge me for them (after I had already paid). Just another pain because the other restaurant I meant to order from never charges me for them, so I opted not to get them. As I said, the food was fine. Not as good as what I actually wanted and I won't be ordering here again. I flagged the incorrect name with Apple Maps so hopefully this doesn't happen to me again lol. I wouldn't eat here a second time.
