Parking is plentiful and shared with other merchants in the Summit Square Shopping Center. The restaurant's dining area is very Subway-esque with its curved laminated booths. The booths are more for sitting while waiting on your take-out order. I don't think I've ever seen anyone dine-in. East China's lunch specials are a GREAT value, and their non-lunch meals are fairly priced too. I usually order a quart of their Kung Pao chicken which comes with rice and then make it last for at least 2 meals or share with someone else at home. The Kung Pao Chicken is loaded with fresh vegetables, which make it stand out from other competitors. Portion size is huge! I highly recommend placing your next Chinese take-out order here and see for yourself.

The place is clean and not fancy - but has seating if you would like to eat in. The Hunan is amazing (on point), the fried rice tasty just not your typical Chinese fried rice (I expected) and their shrimp rolls were a little mushy inside. My husband has eaten here twice - you get a nice size portion (we shared a combo and added a roll)

The staff was friendly and professional, and the restaurant itself was clean and inviting. We ordered the eggplant appetizer, peanut salad, kung pao chicken, and the wonton soup. The food is competently prepared, albeit far from authentic. As someone who enjoys traditional Asian cuisine, I found the flavors to be heavily adapted for a broader American audience. But they tasted as if they were made with a lot of care. Overall, I can appreciate P.F. Chang's for its consistency, atmosphere, and customer service.

Still 4 stars from me.

The center is one of those twisting/ turning ones that stays busy. There is no table service, you order at the register, pay up, and await your order. The service was ok, but not at all pleasant, no thank you! I ordered an egg roll ($1.75), chicken wings (4 for $7.75) and Mongolian Beef ($10.25). The order took just about 20 minutes. All the items were good to very good. The chicken wings were full wings, well sized, nicely cooked, and full of flavor. At the current prices for this item at most places, this is a bargain, and a tasty one! The egg rolls, there were 2 of them, were small compared with those at other places, but there were 2! The roll was nicely cooked, and had a nice flavor. The Mongolian Beef was a nice version with plenty of tender, sliced beef. The sauce was a bit heavy, but was not totally overpowering. There were a collection of veggies as you see at many places, which is not what the original dish calls for, and seems to make the dish appear larger than it would other wise be. All in all, this was tasty and a good choice for Chinese American fare. Ambiance - 1 Food - 4 Service - 3 Value - 4

They are operating as takeout only at this time to ensure the safety of their customers and themselves. China is located in the shopping center where Johnny B's is located on Stratford Road and was crazy busy which to me is always a good sign. We ordered crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, the beef with broccoli combo with white rice (also comes with an egg roll) and the chicken with mixed vegetables combo with white rice (and the egg roll). The crab rangoon was probably the best dish out of everything we ordered and some of the best we've had here in Winston Salem. The steamed dumplings were okay and would probably be better if they were eaten as soon as we picked them up and not after a 10 minute drive. Both entrees were good, however my husband prefers the beef with broccoli at our normal Chinese takeout place. The egg rolls were basic and glad they were part of the entree as it wouldn't be something we would order separately. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely get the crab rangoon here again while maybe trying some other entrees. I'm looking at you General Tso chicken.
