Plus they have good deals for their food as well. It's cash only and there's parking + some seating. I would totally come back here as they have a variety especially in ice cream flavors. We ordered a twist with crunch, a small, and it was pretty big. The other ice cream we ordered was a mallow cup arctic swirl which is so uncommon everywhere but it was so good here. Service was great!

It seems like one of those Chinese places that used to be a nice restaurant before Covid and now they just do quick service takeout... which is fine.. the seating is just for waiting on the food to be cooked. The price is a bit high for a combo meal you can get for $8-9 elsewhere.. and the sauce on the chicken and broccoli was not as expected. Usually it's a brown sauce but this one it was the moo goo gai pan sauce, the clear kind. The soup and combo both lacked a bit of flavor, I think it could be done much better. The egg roll was really good, but I also covered it in duck sauce. The service was friendly though, and it's not half bad for a quick meal.

I get it ALL the time because it is not only consistently delicious, and perfect (did I mention I'm a PICKY pain in the arse?) I had a couple of Chinese food places on the West side which were good, and also two Thai places- but Hong Kong King blows all of them away. They're reasonable! And the owner who always greets me is adorable. I also am thrilled because I can also get my Bubble Tea fix in!!! Yay for Taro Bubble Tea! Rora had a Green Tea from here and her Tofu with Brown sauce- she's also picky. It passed the Rora test too. It is for the time being a take out only, and that's just fine for me. I do see renovations getting closer, so maybe in the future it'll be a Buffet again. I love their food though- YUM! When I first moved out here to the Geneva area, I told friends that I needed to have a good Chinese place! Since I had four that I frequented back on the west side -that was a sore spot with me moving to the east. When Hong Kong King buffet reopened post covid, I was practically beating down their door lol! I will also say on the consistency of the food here everything I've ordered is always cooked perfectly and delicious! Give this wonderful little treasure a try and don't forget to grab yourself a bubble tea too!

The food is always good and the portions ample. They have great desserts as well…read more My biggest issue with this restaurant is the condition of the dining/eating area. The tables are sticky, they are unlevel, the booths are ripped, and there is one table underneath an air-conditioning unit on the ceiling that is dripped on from the unit. The restaurant does a steady business and I go every other month or so because their food is delicious. I just wish that there was a way that they could spruce up the dining area little by little.

There is no shortage of small locally owned Italian restaurants and pizzerias in our area. Some that are closed for reasons probably similar to the poor experience we had today at Vasillios . When calling to place the order we asked if accommodations could be made for omitting a topping or adding a topping and the answer was no. Asked to speak to a chef or somebody other than a customer service representative answering the phone and could hear in the background just saying no we don't want to we don't have the time. Just tell them it's not gonna taste different with or without it!! What!! so again asked you have the ingredient but you will not put it on the pizza for additional cost ... "that's correct ma'am we don't want to just put it on your pizza for any cost. Order what we have or don't. " OK don't worry in the future we won't. Places like a Belleria, Red Plum , Sunrise, Cafe 422 consistently have good customer service. We will frequent businesses with places that value their customers.
