Got to go order to take to the job site around 3 pm They gave me no silverware for my soup or noodles.....so I ate with my hands and drank the soup......also the crackers for the soup were stale.....called the store and they said they only put silverware in the bag at lunchtime and the crackers shouldn't be stale.....so. tough luck loser This restaurant is ridiculous They will screw up your meal to save pennies on silverware or condiments And then argue with you if you call with a problem read more

I was looking for a new Chinese place and decided to try China Dragon. Wish I hadnt. My Mom got the Kung Pao shrimp and I got the sweet and sour shrimp. Her dish was good, nicely seasoned but missed having peppers which she is used to. My dish was awful. Deep fried shrimp that was mushy served with a mildly sweet red sauce and mushy rice. I have had sweet and sour shrimp several times in my life, and I have never had it like that. No veggies, no fruit, nothing that even vaguely looked like the dish I am used to. And I was left still a little hungry afterword. For the price I paid (11.55) for the dish, I would have expected a larger amount and something that looked like what I am used to. I dont get all the rave reviews and I dont think it was an off night either. read more

This is a 5-star Chinese takeout restaurant. Don't @ me as the kids say (do they still say that?). If you want fancy hibachi or sushi go somewhere else. This place is for delicious carry-out so you can pick it up and gorge yourself in the privacy of your own home. Don't get cute with your order. Generals Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Sticks, Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon are guaranteed to be at least 4.5/5.0 every time. Call in your order and it WILL be ready when you get there. Pretty sure it's one guy in the kitchen but it might as well be a whole army of chefs and line cooks. I've never had to wait when calling ahead - not sure what they are doing back there but I'm fairly certain you could call in from the parking lot and it would be ready by the time you got to the register (and it's not even a big parking lot). Also, they aren't messing around with idle chit chat. Get your food and hit the road. I love it. I don't need someone to ask me how my day is going or if I have big plans for the weekend. Overall just a very solid local place that's our go-to when it comes to good Chinese carry out. read more

This small unassuming Chinese restaurant is one of our favorite places for take-out. China Dragon currently offers pick- up inside the small shopping center foyer adjacent to the China Dragon. They provide your pick-up "number" at the time you make your phone order. Most often, they will tell you the order will be ready in 10 minutes. They are consistently right on with regard to preparation time which is amazing, especially considering how many take-out orders they have at any given time. When you arrive to pick up your order, simply find the tray with your pick up number. Enough of the processing details...their food is very good. General Taos Chicken, Princess Chicken, dumplings, hot and sour soup are always great choices. They also neatly bag your items in a way to prevent spills when transporting. read more

New favorite Chinese restaurant for both my wife and I! She had the Moo Goo Gai Pan w/fried rice and Crab Rangoon. I had the Kung Pao Triple Delight w/steamed rice. We also ordered another side of Crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Everything was wonderful! Let me start off by saying there are only two Chinese places I eat at, China Dragon is one of them. I am super happy to find this gem so close to home. I have tried several of their menu items like the General tso chicken, beef broccoli, shrimp Lo mean, shrimp fried rice, and my personal favorite, THE HOUSE SPECIALITY SOUP (and yes it needs all caps because it is that good). Their crab Rangoon and spring roles are A MUST, especially with that sweet and sour sauce they serve on the table. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable and the family that owns it always greets you with a friendly smile. So, if you're in the area and need some good Chinese food, definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Reasonably priced food served in larger portions and I have yet to order an entree' I didn't enjoy. The steamed dumplings and the hot and sour soup are a great starters. You'll likely find that two people can each order an appetizer like the hot and sour soup, share one entree, and you will have plenty of food to enjoy. Be careful about what you order. I ordered their lo mein, and it was terrible to say the least. I hated it so much that I didn't let my husband order from there for us for a looooong time - about two years. So a few days ago, I ordered Szechuan chicken instead, and that was a pretty tasty meal. It did NOT have the spice that a real Szechaun meal would have in it, but it was flavorful and I did enjoy it. So my suggestion would be - avoid their noodles - and if you don't like something on their menu, just don't order it again. They do have some decent stuff! read more

Who would ever expect to get great Chinese food in Basehor? I didn't expect, but got it at China Dragon. Huge menu, large portions, and low prices. Not a buffet, but rather a sit down restaurant where the owners serve you. The family who owns and run the place are hard workers who are always there. Haven't had a bad meal there. Love the Crab Rangoon and General Tso's chicken. It's a weekly stop for us since discovered. read more
