The egg rolls in particular have gone from what I'd call "Authentic" to "Store Bought and Oven Baked" where instead of the crisp cabbage and such, its almost like a mush. The chicken on a stick, meanwhile... I'm not sure if they changed up the coating or what, but the taste is more plain than it used to be. Overall, while still a good place to eat... I'm going to have to drop it down from a five star to a four.

It includes a spring roll, four pieces of California roll, a scoop of rice, and your choice of soup or salad. They also include a small container of katsu dipping sauce and soy sauce. For the price, you actually get a lot, and the quality was solid. This was honestly one of the better bento boxes I've had on my travels. I added a Pepsi for $2.50, which interestingly came in one of those clear plastic quart takeout containers. It was not the most practical since I nearly spilled multiple times, so just keep that in mind. I placed my order around noon on a Friday, and it took about 20 minutes for them to have it ready. Overall, a dependable spot if you're craving a good filling bento box at a reasonable price.

We went to Finelli's Italian Villa last Friday so my family could experience Finelli's like I did…read moretwo years ago, and I'm so glad we did. It's a small spot tucked right in the middle of the block off 17th Street in Altoona. Don't let the location fool you--it's worth every bit of the drive. My wife, our three teens, and a longtime friend joined me for dinner. We started with the drunken mushrooms as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a big mushroom guy, these were absolutely phenomenal--packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chef's special tomatoes and mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette, which was fresh and delicious. Everyone ordered different entrees, including a crab cake, encrusted chicken with vegetables, and shrimp Alfredo. Every single dish was outstanding. My crab cake was one of the best I've ever had--loaded with crab and seasoned just right. Nothing was heavy or overly sauced; it all tasted fresh and high-quality. To top it off, they brought out a dessert tray with multiple made-fresh options. My wife also had a freshly made cappuccino that she really enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly the whole night. Amigh even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a great evening. If you're craving a really solid, high-quality Italian meal without any fuss, do yourself a favor and check out Finelli's Italian Villa. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
