Green beans, bean sprouts, and baby bokchoy are out of this world. Its garlic chicken has no flavor. It needs to add some chicken broth to sweeten it a bit. Hot and sour soup is too thick, not authentic. Service is good. The lady owner has no smile. She's like a Chinese robot with a stiff face. He likes the crayfish and sushi. We love him but tho rest of us were not impressed. Prices are reasonable: $7.99 for the lunch buffet plus 1.99 for refillable sodas or iced tea; the latter was brewed but not the freshest. Their target clientele is identified by the menu which includes jalapeño chicken, menudo, nopalitos (cactus leaves) pizza, molded "chicken" nuggets, etc. They also offer the usual buffet items that have little meat and lots of salt. Their cheese rangoon was surprisingly good, savory rather than sweet. I tried some sushi which was good. The noodles were very good. The egg foo yung was greasy. The spring rolls were heavy on ginger. The desserts were manhandled by the hands of unattended small children. The building has seen better days and could use a facelift. They also need to get a contract with a good exterminator. This was the unexpected and unwanted entertainment. While we were eating we noticed something flying across the dining room. At first I thought it was a big moth. It attracted the attention of some people from another table too. They got up and followed it to a chair nearby, and loudly announced "es una cucaracha!" (It's a cockroach!") I went to see for myself, and they were right. The server came over and knocked it off the chair. Since it ran towards me, I stomped on it (reminiscent of doing the Mexican hat dance.) The server quickly disposed of it and explained, "they sometimes come in from under the door." Not reassuring. The bathroom was reasonably clean. The server was nice and was great at multitasking. She kept our drinks filled, used plates cleared, and did her best to keep roaches out of sight. There's nothing special about the restaurant. It's your typical Chinese buffet. I will give say this it's nice to see that the food is in small portions which means you get fresh food when it runs out. They have a sushi bar but I wasn't really surprised they all the rolls tasted the same. Maybe it's just me but some of their chicken was very salty. Had fruit for dessert but it was hard and not juicy. Service was good staff seem to be nice and attentive. Restaurant it self was well kept just a suggestion when you go wash your hands be careful because the water pressure is hard and you can get wet. read more

I see one of the main complaints from people for years is the people in the check out especially the woman owner are rude and don't even tell you thank you for coming. It's a Wednesday evening before church and me my brother and my dad went to this place. I had very low expectations of this place and it did not go well. The chicken was really hard. The sweet-and-sour tasted really bad. The lo mein aftertaste was horrible. The service was nice and we didn't have any complaints. When showed to the owner they were first quiet, and they said they will take the macaroons out of the buffet station. Then while paying, they said some customers kids might have put It! If I could give zero stars I would. Food that was supposed to be hot was cold (breaded, meats) food that was supposed to be cold was warm (cheese cake, sushi). The prices are what they are but they decided that my 8year old (normal size kid) didn't qualify for their kids prices. So they charged him as an adult and charged the card with no regrets. The part that surprised me was as I was explaining this to the guy behind the counter (no English) he just charged it and went about his day. Food is really hard, some items taste as if they were just de thawed. Service is awful, as the oriental associates do not speak or understand English, or Spanish. Impossible to communicate with the, express suggestions, or raise any complaint. Oriental staff will not allow patrons to practice any type of COVID protective measures. We had stayed away for three years due to food quality changes. We were unable to bring it to their attention back then, and are still unable to do so now. We arrived about 20 minutes till closing and as we tried to walk in, an Asian woman blocked the doorway and rudely told us they were closed, waved us off and locked the door. My boyfriend and I love coming here. There is not a huge variety, but what they do have is very good. Now don't expect it to be out of this world because duh it is still a buffet this food is made in masses and yes sometimes it has been sitting there untouched, but for the most part, it is all awesome. A little late but got there at 2:45. The food was good, but stayed a bit after 4 as we were talking away. Lunch is 7.99 and I had called before to confirm this. Because we left after 4, we were charged the dinner price. I was confused and called from my car to see if there was a mistake. I was hung up on by two different persons with an Asian accent a Lady and then a Man after being cut off from what I was trying to explain, but vaguely understood that if you stay after 4, you will be charged dinner price. Well okay, but I didn't appreciate the rude treatment and hanging up on me three time. So Beware. Not going back there.
