King Buffet opened in 2023 in a space formerly occupied by Golden Corral. It's pleasantly renovated and as clean as an establishment can be for a buffet concept. There are all the classics here and a few nice extras, like crab. The seafood at King Buffet is plentiful, but to be fair, not particularly good. The crawfish are somehow extremely tasteless, not because they are not spiced, but they just don't taste like crawfish. That's something I've never encountered before. The coconut shrimp is subpar. Mongolian beef is very loosely reminiscent of beef. With that said, all the dishes are not bad either, they are just not great. Where King Buffet shines is the service, with extremely attentive wait staff and superb cleanliness that results from that.
