Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. The wall looks so good that the old, shabby brick pavers by my pool now look sad by comparison. I'll be asking Matt Burns to come back to address that issue, and others, in the future. It does not matter how many times I call, I have not once received a return phone call since providing my payment. The phone mostly rings to no answer. The couple times I have reached someone I was told the manufacturer is having substantial delays and they cannot get any update from them - I received feedback from the manufacturer within 24 hours saying my experience with this dealer is not normal and I also cross checked with two competitors (oh how I wish I had done that back in November) and have gotten 2 week lead times quoted for the same stove from both of these other businesses. Upon learning this information I requested a refund but you can imagine how that is going. I even picketed the store front for an hour and forty five minutes today and still cannot get a return phone call or any movement on my refund - THEY JUST DO NOT CARE!!!

I had brown smoke coming out of my prefabricated chimney due to squirrel's nest. Michael came out…read moreand realized that there was squirrels still in there so he wanted to wait a couple of weeks for them to leave the nest. When he came back he didn't hear them so he proceeded to clean out the nest which went 6 feet down. While doing this he showed me the condition of the liner with cracks, rust and sulfuric acid buildups. I knew we had not replaced it so it must have been the original liner when the house was built in the 50's. There was even some parts of the pipes where it was disjointed. Thank goodness that he pointed it out and showed me pictures of it. We decided to get the whole liner and pipes replaced from the gas furnace and water heater. He also resealed flashing which was all dried up and cracked. He put on a new rain cap and top plate so no more chances of squirrels coming back to nest. He came back for the 4th time to finish painting the exterior of the chimney which looks brand new. I contacted Titan Chimney because of all the 5 star reviews and now I understand why. Michael is very knowledgeable about chimneys. I learned a lot from him. He does great work and will photograph everything and share it with you. He is very nice. When he was coming down from the roof he noticed our gutter was clogged so he cleaned it out. He texts me to let me know when he is in the area and on his way. His price is fair. So glad that I discovered Titan Chimney!
