That obviously was not true because the chimney got plugged up and we had a lot of smoke in our house. First rate chimney came out, took photographs and showed the creosote buildup that could not possibly have just happened since September. He did a great job on cleaning the chimney, sealing the flashings on the roof, took photos, and helped us to feel confident in using our wood burner. From start to finish, Brenda, Brandon and Casey were wonderful to work with. They were kind, considerate, communicative, efficient and effective. I first engaged them in September 2025, and they came right out to give a bid. In contrast to other bids I received, Best Ways doesn't have a 'one-size-fits all" approach. The lead mason, Brandon, helped me understand my options and took the time to adjust the work and the bid to suit my preferences. The end price was quite reasonable, especially given the quality of their work. They didn't schedule my job for five months simply because they run just a few crews at a time. Quality over quantity. They could have shoehorned in my small job in between larger ones, and potentially done a low-quality job. Instead, they scheduled my job far out, but then showed up, on time. When they did get to my job, they did it efficiently and quickly. The job site was left neat at the end of each day. There were thoughtful touches, too, like neatly stacking old bricks.
