Weird place. Great view of the cruise terminal. They did not run the air conditioning while I was there, not sure if that is a constant state of affairs, but it was a sweatbox. Because I don't speak Spanish, when I first walked in I asked if the air was on or if they could turn it on. But because they didn't speak English, they agreed and agreed and I'm pretty sure had no idea to what.
Anyway, I got there at 11:45 and was told they only serve breakfast. Huh? They didn't open until 11:00 so why they have a breakfast menu at all was a little confusing to me. I wanted something like pancakes and eggs, but no. So I ordered eggs Benedict with a small side of pancakes - that turned out not to be pancakes but they were still pretty good. They were like 3/4 of an inch thick and it was more like eating a muffin. The eggs Benedict was not hollandaise sauce like it said on the menu, but more of a very watered down nacho cheese sauce. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.
Overall, because I am familiar with Chili's in the US I already had very very low expectations. This chili's managed to surprise me with poor quality, bad service and intolerable temperatures. 2 stars cuz the view was beautiful. read more
