Pros: We were seated promptly Even though it was a Saturday night at Christmas time in Grapevine. Server was nice and friendly and did a really great job making sure we were taken care of. Atmosphere was fun and music was great. Prices were fair. They comped half of my meal because of reasons. I will explain below. Cons: The problem we had was with the food. There were four of us, my husband and I, as well as another couple of friends. My friend's husband got his nachos first. About 5 minutes later, my friend got her burger and fries and they were fine. Then I received my nachos. I had specifically asked for no jalapenos and they arrived covered in jalapenos, so they took them back and I thought I would be made a new plate of nachos. While I was waiting, my husband received his wings which were supposed to be covered in a dry rub but looked suspiciously not so dry but he started eating them anyway. Then I received a new plate of nachos with an apology. No big deal, so I started chomping down on my nachos but unfortunately it didn't take long to realize that instead of making me a new plate, someone had just picked most of the jalapenos off of my plate. I still had some jalapenos on my plate hiding under chips as well as jalapeno juice so I got several very spicy bites and I ended up not eating most of it. Then the server showed up with six wings in a styrofoam box and had to confess to my husband that they gave him entirely the wrong order and so they were sending him the right one home. I let her know what happened with mine and that it was entirely inappropriate because if I had been allergic to those jalapenos, they would have been responsible for my allergic reaction. She admitted to me that I should have gotten a new plate of nachos and she was really sorry. This was a pretty egregious oversight to be honest because like I said, if someone says they can't have something on their dish, they probably have a really good reason. And even if they don't, it's the kitchen's responsibility to make it right. They ended up taking half of the cost off of my nachos which I appreciated. I understand mistakes happen and they were busy, and I appreciated them trying to make it right. But again, they need to make a new plate for somebody when they mess up like that and not just pick off the item that was requested left off, especially if it's covering the entire dish. Luckily for them I just can't stand jalapenos or spice and I'm not allergic. Most everything else was okay though. read more

Management at this place is horrible! Upon walking in, we were chased down for our ID's. My group was all several years over age, I received back lash from a manager who's name strikes no importance of remembering. This manager proceeded to not let me be there since he didn't understand what 'Real ID' is. This manager had no awareness of the new and upcoming requirement for government drivers license. Love this bar. Plain and simple. If I lived anywhere near Grapevine this would be my hangout. They have great happy hour specials ($3.25 beers, $1 tacos on Tuesdays, 1/2 off burgers on Wednesday's, etc). The bar is comfortable, a great place to watch a game, and has a fantastic outdoor patio. The staff there makes it even better. Torri had us laughing all week, and is a really great server/bartender. The food is unique and far above your average bar food. This was my second trip to Chill. The service (Sarah) was great and so was the food. When two other restaurants in Grapevine failed me (Tolberts and Big Fish), Chill absolutely came through. The musician left a little to be desired, but I really enjoyed my second visit to Chill and will return whenever I'm in Grapevine. read more

This is just a chill bar to chill. They had a great playlist ranging from alt rock to pop. The patio has mist fans which made the late July heat bearable. And they had 6+ outdoor tvs. The mac n cheese bites were creamy inside the thin, yet crunchy exterior. The salsa is a bit runny, but we couldn't stop eating them despite being stuffed. The service was fantastic and I'm glad we stopped by to kill some time. read more

We came in 4 times during grapefest and 1/2 of the time we received great service. The games were all on and the food was awesome. The last visit we were thoroughly disgusted by the waitstaff (pictured here) as they partied on the back patio with foul language dogging Chill and the "nasty pizza sh*+s you get if you eat here and not giving a f**k what people think who come here" as well as making comments about guys di*k size, etc. This entire table (2 in uniform) are a disgrace. Meh. The place would be better if the food was better. Unfortunately, everything I tried there wasn't that good. The sky high nachos were mostly sky high chips, very little toppings. The fried pickles are extremely salty. The fried chicken sandwich was a round patty like you would get in the freezer section of your grocery store. The veggie burrito I ordered one time came out hot. It was complete mush inside. Hot lettuce mush. Someone put the whole thing in the microwave. I can't imagine that is their method of preparation. I would have sent that back but it was a game day and it was very busy. We rarely saw our waitress that evening to get drinks let alone getting my food back without someone in the kitchen doing something to it. The little 3 slider trio was on hard buns. If you get fried chicken on that trio, you will get a smaller round patty from the freezer section. I went there with friends every so often to watch sports, it just never improved food wise. I stopped in for an appetizer and cocktail prior to picking up a friend at the airport on a Wednesday evening and the atmosphere was perfect on the outdoor patio. The live acoustic music was fantastic. I had the jalapeño poppers and they were delicious. I met the owner briefly and he seemed like a nice guy. The staff were inviting and on top of great service. Stopped in Chill for a couple beers after walking Main St this past weekend. Beers were cold and service wasn't bad. A disabled veteran came in and sat near us with his service dog. We chatted a little bit and the veteran looked happy to be there. Not long after they got seated the manager walked up and asked him to leave due to having his service dog with him. Not only is this disrespectful to a veteran, it also violates the ADA. read more

Had our end of the year Christmas party here for work. They had a room tucked in the back to host our party. We had two free drink tickets per person. Cocktails made strong. Appetizers was so delicious. Waiters would walk around and serve the appetizers. They gave fast and kind service. They had a little area set up for us to take pictures with a back drop. Servers weren't wearing masks. We asked several times for them to wear them. To which our requested were met with laughter and walking away. Don't get me wrong. Staff was friendly, but not doing their part. Signs everywhere requiring patrons to wear a mask, but servers don't adhere to it? What precedent does this set? Black artists aren't available for selection on their Touch Tunes. Rap, R&B, and Hip-Hop genres also blocked. Drinks were fine. Food also okay. We chose this restaurant because it had an outside patio and was dog friendly. He had just come from a hike on the lake with our pup. The outside patio was pretty cool- had a decent vibe. Our waitress was friendly and attentive- she even brought our pup and bowl of water which was sweet. This is the positive part of the 2 stars. The food was not good. My husband and I got the fajitas for 2 because we could smell them and the waitress told us they were great. The veggies were undercooked and the meat (chic / steak) tasted like a dirty grill! We sent it back and the one she brought back was worse. The skillet was not seasoned, there was zero flavor. Terrible. Our son ordered a black bean burger without cheese. I understand that this place has been through a number of incarnations, including some different formats even under the Chill name, but I have some advice: Keep it like it is now! Myself and some work buddies descended on the place on a Thursday evening to hang out and have a few drinks. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit in the voluminous patio area, with its plentiful picnic table seating, brick paver floor and string lights and TVs to provide entertainment. It's a great atmosphere, at once open yet cozy. I did venture inside on the way to the restroom, and it seemed clean and lively in there. I started with a Blue Moon draft, served with a smile from our lovely server. Using my Yelp! checkin offer, I snagged a free order of chips and salsa, the latter being a fresh made affair with chopped cilantro that I'm quite certain was whole leaf earlier that day. A winner, for sure. Later, I ordered some fried pickles, little thin discs with a cornmeal batter, they were delicious in the homemade ranch dressing that came alongside. I also sampled a co-worker's onion rings, and while he longed for more onion and less batter, I thought they were delicious, with a great GB&D coloring and perfectly seasoned taste. I didn't try any other food items, but quesadillas got good reviews from my fellow diners, and the service was pretty good during our visit. In short, this is a great place to, well, chill, and I'd happily go back again. Maybe I'll even sample some dinner next time; if it's as good as the snacks, I'm certain I'll enjoy it! read more

I will admit I was pleasantly surprised by the bar food! It is normal sports bar scenery. Lots of tvs and louder crowd. It does give off a fun vibe though. We sat inside but I did notice they had misters outside. They have fabulous daily specials I highly recommend looking into that. I went with the buffalo chicken wrap with their home made chips. Terribly rude, snobby girls working the front door. My mother and I were looking for a place for dinner after riding the Grapevine train. We had never been here before or heard of it. Walked in and three girls working the front door just looked at us. My mom asked if this was a bar or if they served food. The dark haired girl gave her a disgusted look and rudely said they serve food. After another minute of staring at us, she waved her hand and said we could sit anywhere. I tried to call in a pizza but was told because it's half price pizza night (I didn't know) that I could only eat it for dine in . Well I had my dog with me so I go inside to be seated. Of course there is no host so I go to the bar and ask for my favorite server. The girls play dumb and tell me they don't know who she is or that she's not here so I ask to sit at the bar. She says yea, takes my pizza order and serves me my beer. I sit for a few moments. I overhear the snotty girl, Elizabeth, blatantly talking shit about me to the other bartender, turns to me and asks if my dog is a service animal and if not I can sit on the patio and that she will serve me there bc her manager said so. Feeling very uncomfortable from the mean girls attitude, I decide not to disclose the status of my ESA , I move to the patio with no rebuttals. I don't like drama and mind you all I wanted was a take out order in the first place. I finish my beer and of course am not served or checked on outside so I return inside for another one. I am met again with the clearly intoxicated or just bad at her job, Elizabeth, who hands me the wrong beer. I correct her and she gives me the right one. Looks up, points behind me and says , oh and that's your pizza. The food runner is standing directly behind me waiting for someone to take it. So Of course now I have a fresh beer in my hand, my own pizza and the dog leash... carrying it all outside with no help from the server. Im extremely peeved at this point because I . DO. NOT. WORK. HERE. And apparently neither does Elizabeth, because the next encounter we have is her doubling back to tell me she didn't take a card for my tab -_- I give it to her and ask her to tab me out. I'm not spending any more money with her . As an industry worker, I of course left her a tip, but undeservingly. The kicker to all of this is that the manager on duty actually came outside, had a conversation with me, and tried to get friendly with my dog. I'm not exactly sure if that was a cover up to shunning me outside or if the bartender was lying the whole time to avoid serving the only female at the bar. Truly, I enjoy the food and usually have a good time here. But she specifically rubbed me the wrong way. So if I do return here, I'll be avoiding her. read more
