As I entered the Main Street bar, I presented my ID. Because I am not from America, I own a green card because My id was stolen so I needed to show an American Id such as Texas state ID. I only had a green card because my ID was stolen out of my vehicle. Thinking I was going to have a good night with my friends at a bar I respected a lot knowing the owner through a close friend, I was intentionally embarrassed by the bouncer who tried to minimize and demoralize me with his new rule, that green cards were no longer acceptable in "his" bar. (Moving on up in the world...#youarethebouncer); Knowing that a week before, I had shown him the same exact ID and he verified me with no issues.... If you are going to ban a certain kind of ID, make sure your bouncers can tell the real ones from fake ones because if someone happened to come from....God forbids, another country, they have a right to enjoy a night just like any other human being. The bouncer is a racist who was picking on me. I will never in my life recommend this bar to anyone and the friends who accompanied me were indeed Caucasian and felt discriminated on my behalf. I even tried to approach him and presented him 2 different chase credit cards to prove it was me and his response was...."I didn't like your attitude" so that's why you can't come in....well, telling me that "whatever I say goes...and did you hear what I just said" when I simply was explaining you that my ID was stolen....was an impolite and tasteless way to treat your guest no matter what color race or ID presentation because all I ask is for you be a nice person. I don't care if your a bouncer or the president of the United States. Give respect, get respect. Description: goatee, white hair, jeans, sneakers, visor, sports jacket. I could have handled you apologizing and saying "unfortunately, we no longer take green cards. You decide to get macho and bring your geezer manly hood into the mix. #racismstillexistsinchill read more

WARNING!! THESE PEOPLE WILL OVER CHARGE YOU!! We went to this place because our friend had a birthday there. Even though we were sitting at a table by ourselves my wife and I were charged a 30.00 gratuity. They said since we were associated with the birthday girl we were charged for a group gratuity fee. On top of that they charged us for 14 mixed drinks for my wife when she only had 7. They claimed we asked for doubles. My wife has never ordered a double in her life. If she had drank 7 doubles she sure as hell wouldn't have been able to walk out of there. So either they over served her or they padded the tab for about 40.00. On top of all that this place was way over crowded, the sound system sucked, The service was slow and the drinks were wrong 80% of the time. The only good thing I can say is the fried Pickles we're the best I have ever had. I called and spoke to Julia about this issue. At first she seemed like she was going to help until she found out I disputed the charges on my credit card. Then she just stopped answering my calls. I plan on making a complaint to the better business Bureau for the padding of the tab, I'm calling the TABC about the over serving, and I'm calling the fire Marshall about the over crowding. Julia, you had your chance to make this right. I am not some scam artist that goes around not paying for things I owe. Your bar flat out ripped me off and I will not dissappear that quietly. Response to respondent... The reason my credit card company denied the claim is because I canceled the claim after you told me it would be taken care of. read more

There are several things I love about Chill, however tonight was the first time I've ever had a problem with one of the staff. I always pay and I tip generiuosly. Though, not an excuse to be an ass. Here's my problem, they have children running the patio bar! Example, tonight there were at least 40 people on the patio but it was more important for the "up and coming wanna be bartenders" to be stuffing there face with pizza 10 minutes till close.? I never give rewiews because i understand mostly but this was unexceptable, even by the mod. Guest servicd is 100% minus disrepect, though this newly trained bartender/idiot wanted to cop an attitude because I wanted a drink before closing, which was 20 till 2am. She treated me like shit, ignored me and tried to cover her ass with management. Now you know, I've never had a problem with Chill but get rid of the "child" you had working tonight! I certainly mean no disrespect but I have 20+ years and stupidity when I see it. One dumbass wanna be bartender with attitude is going to cost Chill respectable business. I'm in the industry, understand, but You guy's should know better! No name. Think about who is working for! Hmmm, feed my face 15 minutes before close with at least 40-60 people ob the patio or meet your guests needs? Do the math! Been great, goodkuck with the kids working for you. I'm copying this review in order to share it with ALL main stream outlets by Monday! .Thanks! D read more

I have not been to this place in a very long time. Last time was not so great, but we were in town and the patio looked inviting. After walking in the front door we immediately noticed big changes. The DJ/Band area has been totally moved. The entire place has been remodeled and the smell of smoke is gone. HOOORAYY!!! The food was amazing, The bartender recommended the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp as an appetizer. That was a great choice and it was top notch. They have their specials posted up for all to see, 1/2 price pizzas, $1 tacos, 1/2 price burgers, 5.99 chicken fried chicken, We were there on a Thursday and had to try the Special Chicken Fried Chicken. NO KNIFE NEEDED. WOW Best I've ever had. We went to the patio to enjoy the amazing weather and the Ice cold adult beverages. I did find out that was the only place anyone could smoke. I like that. On the patio They listed to parties coming up. Crawfish Boil and Block parties for Fat Tuesday March 4th and march 16th for Fat Tuesday. I can't wait to go back. Great job on changing up the restaurant and staff. Chill Is definitely top notch in our book. BW read more

HORRIBLE MALE BARTENDERS DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! We went on a Saturday night had a few drinks and tipped more than well. My group was having fun and we were all friendly all night. When it was closing time I noticed I had misplaced my jacket that had my wallet and keys in it. Obviously I could not leave without them. Mind you the weather was in the 30's and rainy! I also brought a designated driver to drive me home...I calmly explained this to the jerk bartender that was yelling at me...I didn't want to be there anymore than he did either...anyways with no reason the jerk tried to call the cops on me. Luckily my friend had found my jacket and we go the hell out of there. I almost hate giving this review because I've been here before and other bartenders were friendly and seemed nice. I wish I knew that JERKS name so I could list it here so people could steer clear of him. I sincerely hope they get rid of that guy; he's causing an otherwise pretty cool place to loose business! If go back, which is highly doubtful, and find he doesn't work there anymore I will consider writing a better review. read more

My girls and I head up to Chill regularly for drinks and dancing. We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! They always have AWESOME specials on something... whether it is the 1/2 priced burgers, $2.00 drinks on Wednesdays or the Ladies Night thing where we get our first drink free! WHATS NOT TO LOVE?!? We have come to know the girls that work here and the ones who have been here for awhile are awesome. They all seem to be friends and it really shows when they work together because they always seem to be having fun -- It makes our experience there even better. It is a great "In Between Dallas and Ft Worth" place! read more

Chill offers great food and excellent service, and the drinks are consistently fantastic. It's a great spot to catch a game while relaxing on their patio, which has options for both sun and shade. I usually opt for outdoor seating, as the indoor space sometimes smells strongly of cleaning chemicals. However, one downside is that they allow smoking on the patio, which can detract from the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. On the plus side, Chill is super convenient to get to, especially if you're riding TexRail. It's a solid choice for good food, drinks, and a laid-back vibe. read more

Came in today for a good warm lunch on a cold Texas day. Service was great. Two ladies greeted me and sat me quick. Took my drink order of ice tea and even brought out a helping of lemons and limes. This good ol boy only likes it straight. No sweetener. My order cam out quick. Ordered the patty melt, no onions. Hit the spot, and the fries were great. The atmosphere is that of a normal sports bar and good hangout spot. Nothing to fancy nor grungy dive. Has a home town feel as well. Looking forward to coming back soon. I will have to try the carrot cake on my next go. read more

I've been to Chill a couple times and have always left with new found friends, great stories + a belly full that I think about for 3 days (in a good way). They have UHHHMAZING lunch specials all the time also. I always try to have Julia as my waitress. She's the sweetest. Best attitude, super attentive & truly changes the game of a restaurant experience. Even when I've gone there for late night activities with my friends, I try to have her wait on my friends and I because I know we'll be taken care of. If you go to chill, please ask for Julia! read more

The biggest trash can in the DFW. Entire bar smells like vomit, the bartenders are clueless and the bouncer is getting paid $9.00 an hour too much.. he's a clueless tool who wouldn't know a pair of dress shorts if it smacked him in his fat head. We called today three different times to see if shorts were acceptable to wear because it's 95 degrees in Texas, and the hostess said it was okay. Needless to say none of us will be back and I apologize to every hopeless soul who has spent money in this hell hole read more

I've been going to this bar for years, it's always been great. Their food is consistently good, great variety from standard bar / grill fare, to more healthy (and surprisingly delicious) options like salmon. The staff is fantastic, makes it feel like home. Dennis, Leslie and bar crew manage to keep everyone served on a busy weekend night while making you feel like you're the most important person in the room. Truly talented and wonderful folks and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended. read more

I'd leave 0 stars if I could. I usually come here for a drink after I get off work. Bartenders used to be on point. Now, just go in with assumption that it's going to smell like piss and your bartender is either going to be drinking more than you or rolling on something. Genesis has got to be the worst bartender I've ever met in my life. If you could get paid to vape and drink more than actually bartending, it might be a more suitable job for her. Order from literally anyone else. read more

where do I start other than to say it's amazing! Why might you ask... lemme gimme you some reasons. Are the staff very attentive to your needs? Check. Amazing food at a decent price? Check. I can get my girl 50 cent mimosas on a Sunday at brunch while watching the Cowboys play? Double check! I mean seriously, if you dont like orgasmic food and good prices on drinks too, than this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a chill spot look no more! See y'all this weekend! read more

What a great place this is to go and enjoy a little bit of everything. From the food being not your normal bar food but actually an amazing meal. The service was great. To bad the weather wasn't good enough to sit on the patio. The bartender told me that after 10 they had a Dj coming on as well. I was blown away this place packed it in and turned into a dance club. If you haven't been here before wether it be lunch dinner or late night fun they have it all. read more

CHILL IS AWESOME!!!! They have some of the best drink and food specials around town. Live music, great apps, relaxing environment, and beautiful girls behind the bar and taking care of customers. Bailey was our server and gave us great recommendations on food and told us about all the specials. The owner even bought us a round! If you're around DFW and want a cool spot that isn't cookie cutter dining, Chill is the spot. read more

Greatest Trivia game ever. And they do half price pizzas on Monday as well. Ohh, and they also do 50cent wings. The Spicy Ranch Rub is my favorite. THey have the best Happy Hour In Grapevine and are open till 2am. Rock in it.....Dancing and DJ's Wed - Saturday night when the place turns into a dance club. Huge patio with Heaters for the winter and the misters for the summer. We can't wait till the summer gets here. W read more

Took a recent trip to Grapevine, and Chill was hands down our favorite spot! The service is impeccable. The waitress Shay and bartender Haley were working extremely hard and stayed on top of making sure we were taken care of. They were so kind and accommodating, and I'd hire them myself in an instant. Great music and the perfect atmosphere! The pizza was delicious too 10/10, will be back again!! read more
