First time I've been here to eat. I have been here a few times over the last few years for late night dancing and drinks. It was self seat on the patio and we were quickly greeted by LJ. Drinks are on happy hour until 7 on Saturday so that was a surprise considering most restaurants don't have happy hour on Saturdays. We had the southwest tailpipes for an appetizer. They were delicious. In my husbands opinion, better than the southwestern eggrolls from chilis. After our appetizer we moved inside from the patio because it was about to rain. The restaurant was very flexible about moving tables and we were able to keep our same server. Then I had the cod tacos and my husband had the buffalo chicken wrap with chips. We both loved our entrees, LJ even brought out complimentary chips and salsa because she said our order was taking longer than normal. The cod tacos had a large ratio of fish to tiny ratio of tortilla, but that doesn't bother me. Overall great experience! read more

Ordered the pizza and some of their happy hour margs. Pizza was horrible, pretty similar to an oven baked frozen pizza you'd buy at Walmart for $2. Margs were decent, strong syrup taste but better quality than the pizza however we were told the margs were half off and they ended up being regular price so that's frustrating. I went to Chill today and I must say that I am very disappointed. The outside bartenders were rude and never even said hello. I tried to be friendly and got an attitude. Shots for 2 $13.00 2 beers $8.00 really! Way over priced. Very disappointed in service. I have been here numerous times and service was so much friendlier. Well, seems we found a silent club right deep in the heart of Grapevine. I have not eaten here but I ran into this place when looking for a cool hangout spot after a meal downtown Grapevine. Before you enter the place they will check your ID. Once your in there is a bar to your left and a Dj to your right. There are people of all ages here dancing,drinking and enjoying the night. There are two bar areas one in the front and the other in the back room. There is also a patio. It was cold out so they had heat lamps. I go to order a drink and they serve the drink in a plastic cup. That part I wasn't to please about. It's been a long time were I went somewhere that served alcohol in a cheap plastic cup. Also since it was in a cup they also charged way to much for the drink. I spent 20.00 on two small plastic alcoholic beverage. Other than the presentation of drinks the music was nice. Getting a drink here didn't take long either. I like the crowd here everyone was fun, nice and definitely no drama. I would definitely come back to just hang out because the music was mix. read more

Went here with my honey because we had a groupon. When we walked in I noticed that the staff consisted of young women with lots of cleavage. I found this to be a little strange for main street in Grapevine. It's more of a bar than restaurant feel inside. The place was pretty much empty when we went in for dinner. I asked the waitress about a couple of menu items and she told me that she had never tried them and didn't know if they were a good choice or not. Also, she told us that the beer special was one price and charged us another. I ordered ribs with fries and coleslaw. The food was average, nothing to write home about. My husband had a ribeye with mashed potato. He thought that the steak was really good and he enjoyed his sides as well. Maybe I should have gone with the steak. The service was just ok. The waitresses seemed to be just hanging around, not doing anything and sitting in the bar area at tables. They also have a stage so I'm guessing they have bands. I think it might be a fun place to go have drinks but I won't be running back anytime soon for the food or service. read more

Just went there last night and the atmosphere is a neat little place. Drinks were good, the music was a little too loud for such a small place. Loved the DJ and his mixes but only complaint was how small the dance floor was and the AC didn't seem to do any good. Could barely dance without bumping into someone or feeling like you were going to faint from the heat lol. read more

Just had a nice evening at Chill - what we love about this place is that they always have great specials ($5.00 appetizers after 10pm and $3-$5 drinks until 8pm plus other daily drink specials after 8pm. Also, the food is priced just right -- $6-$8 for a hamburger/ $6 pizzas! The wine by glass is also very reasonable - we love it! Tonight we had absolutely fabulous service from Sam, our waiter...it's been awhile that we've had such great service! We've definitely made this our evening spot when a good drink and decent food are in order. Oh also, it's kinda funny, but the mixed crowd (think young and old patrons) truly give the place that good ol' Dallas charm - expecially when you see your grandpa busting a move to the cupid shuffle! read more

What a great Summer we are having, walking over from the 925 for dinner and drinks, bringing our out-of-town visitors to experience a fun atmosphere for people of all ages and interests. We've been enjoying Trivia night and recruiting larger groups for hopefully better results, haha. The menu is wonderful! I'm hooked on your Skewer Combo! There is no place I've been where you can have grilled Shrimp, Chicken AND Steak on grilled vegetables and wild rice for UNDER $10 !!! How do you do that? My favorite server, by FAR, is Katie. Personality PLUS! Katie knows every menu item right down to the best preparation suggestions! I ordered the Mile High Nachos on my last visit and she recommended asking to have the cheeses distributed mid stack as well as on top. What a great suggestion because those nachos really ARE a mile high! Your food is great, your staff are awesome and your entertainment variety keeps me coming back time after time ... Bailey is always happy and bubbly and I enjoy coming in and spending my lunch with her. On a bad day, I know I can always go up to chill and Bailey will always put a smile on my face. My wife and I visited the Grapefest and ended up at a place called Chill. It was a perfect ending to a perfect night. You had your choice to stay inside and watch any sport you wanted or you could go to the outside porch and enjoy a relaxing time. The food and service was awesome. I had to write this review to applaud Chill, their staff and atmosphere. Within the last couple of months I have been a part of a group of 10 (or more) who met here for Cowboys games and each time we were so well taken care of. Last night Chelsey was our server. Went there for a Christmas party and they only had 1 waitress for a party of about 50. Also there was a bar in the room we were in but didn't open for two hours while we were back there and our poor server had to run back n forth from the front of the restaurant back to where we were for drinks. Causing delays on drink orders. She was good though. And also when I closed the tab at the end of the night, there were some suspicious drinks which I think were duplicates, and, a 20% automatic gratuity added to the bill. read more

Food was good - once it arrived. Everyone at the table was finished before I got my meal. The waitresses help placed the wrong pizza at the wrong table (smaller pizza was delivered to the group and the larger one to the individual) - despite asking "is that the 14". Manager was pleasant and comp'd the pizza which was really generous...but the waitress could have cared less - her personality and attitude was quite lacking! When the manager delivered my food and asked is everything good here...as the table was packing up...I replied...it is now that my food is here - and asked "could I get a to-go box". Apparently, they only comp when its the waitresses fault and not the kitchen...as the manager informed me it wasn't waitress fault nothing could be done despite my wait of 45mins for chicken strips and sweet potato fries...which apparently is a $2 upgrade not on menu and not informed by waitress...but again, she probably wouldn't care....my ticket included a drink we didn't order and she seemed overwhelmed to take it off the ticket...but didn't hesitate to add a 18+% gratuity she DIDN'T DESERVE in my opinion. For a bar and grill/pub like place, I would have expected more happiness, smiles, politeness and common courtesy. Won't be returning any time soon! read more

Walked in grab a late night dinner. Sat at a table and waited 15 minutes without any acknowledgement from an employee. Moved to the bar where the bartender was more busy chatting up coworkers. When the bartender finally came by she said they only had pizza at that hour. No big deal. Took another 10 minutes for her to come back and take our order in a nearly empty bar. She took our food order and walked away without asking us what we wanted to drink. We finally realized we weren't going to get any service so we cancelled our order and walked out. read more

Great lunch experience! I had the mile-high nachos which lived up to it's name - it was a huge pile of chips with queso, melted cheese, your choice of meat, sour cream and jalapenos. I only ate a quarter of a mile worth because it was so big! My daughter had pizza and said it was delicious also. Our server was friendly and attentive; my only regret is that I don't recall her name to give her the kuddos she deserves. I've been to this bar a few times but this time wasn't the best experience. I wore the same style jeans that I've worn there a few times with no problems. Now this time they were a problem. The name says it all.. "Chill" I went on a Thursday night and they had a nice crowd there. The staff was very friendly and the food was GREAT!! I went to the bathroom and found out that they have Texas Holdem Poker on Thursday nights and it's FREE. Plus the winner gets cash money!! So I'll definitely be going back on Thursdays to play poker, and they have Trivia on Monday where they also give away cash to the winning team. Food was good, and the staff was nice and attentive . However , we had one slight issue . We had 4 adults and a 3 and a 2 yr old in our group. Restaurant was not yet busy as we came at 5. When all the adult food was brought out , they realized forgot to place our kids pizza order ( we had ordered 2 kids pizzas) . They told us about 10 minutes for the kids to get food. I understand that mistakes happen and they apologized . We asked for the kids tortillas and butter to hold them over since they were hungry. By the time the kids food came, we were pretty much done eating and took the kids food to go with us . Anyway , on the bill they charged us for the tortillas and butter ($1.50), not a lot, but it irritated me that they charged us for something we only ordered to keep 2 toddlers calm because of their mistake, and I also kinda of felt that they should've only charged us for one of the kids meals. We did have to ask to have to tortillas and butter taken off and explain why we wanted this, which they did do for us, It would've been better had it been offered from the beginning without us having to go over the bill. read more

Been here a handful of times. Always have fun with the energetic atmosphere. Went in on Saturday, for lunch. Burger was really good. While I was there, I noticed a somewhat, separated, back room that would be perfect for an upcoming I'm having. I spoke with the manager and explained that I was interested in making a reservation for 20 people for an upcoming Sunday afternoon (2:00 to 5:00). She told me that her computer was being used at the moment and couldn't confirm that she could accommodate my request. No problem. She took down my information and said she'd call me later that afternoon to confirm/deny. No problem. Then, she told me that they charge $50 an hour for the request I made. This left me a little confused.?? I'm bringing you (i'm guessing) ~$500 worth of business on a Sunday afternoon and you want me to pay an additional $50/hour? Seems to me, they would welcome the business and moreover, not mandate an hourly fee... Essentially, wanting me to leave (and stop spending money) as soon as possible. read more

This place is the absolute worst!!! Against my better judgment I decided to go to Chill with some friends of mine over the weekend. The service was horrible! The food took forever to come out and the managers looked like they didn't have a clue what was going on. Our server was very friendly but she made it clear she was very unhappy. Her and another girl were standing near our table talking about how they missed the manager that just got fired and how they were both on their way out the door. At one point another server joined in the conversation to talk about how the owner just bought a bar to get girls. These girls didn't care how loudly they were speaking and who heard which I thought was extremely inappropriate. I would rather they speed up our order than gossip about the place. The people at the bar were ridiculous and at one point the bartender got into an argument with what looked like a manager. I will never be back which probably won't matter because these people don't care about their customers anyway. read more
