So I would give 5 Stars, however, the bartender was very rude. But once we moved to a table and Kassie was our waitress, things turned around drastically! Not only is she amazingly beautiful on the outside, she's so much more so on the inside. Anywhoo... food was amazing and drinks were great... read more

We arrived an hour ago and sit inside and no server came by. We went outside and waited and no server came by. But they came to the 2 tables next to us numerous times. Only way we got drinks is that we went to the bar. I will avoid this place read more

*** THIS PLACE ACTUALLY DESERVES LESS THAN ONE STAR *** If you're reading this review, chances are you're probably looking for a place to grab a bite or get a drink in the area. Please do NOT make the same mistake I did. Stay away from Chill because it does NOT deserve anyone's patronage. Period. Let me detail why: The day before Labor Day, my dad and I were driving down Main Street looking for a place to eat lunch. Then, we made the extremely poor and unfortunate decision to stop by Chill. In retrospect, this was the worst restaurant decision in my life. Judging from the building's rusted exterior, I can already sense that this place is going to be pretty downright trashy. One hour later, we walk out feeling bloated having shared portions of chips, salsa, chicken fried steak and a burger. While my impetus for writing this review is not to evaluate the taste of the food, I will note that everything we ordered was bland, mediocre and quite frankly SICKENING. And I mean that very literally. A little over 12 hours later in the middle of the night, I woke up feeling nauseous, dehydrated, and excruciatingly sore from head to toe. I want to vomit and/or faint in the restroom, but I can't so I end up trying to fall back asleep. The next morning, I don't feel any better. As it turns out, my dad is suffering from the exact same symptoms. We both suspect food poisoning. After all, this was the only meal that just the two of us shared in the last three days so we're both nearly certain that Chill's food poisoned both of us. It's Labor Day and we're both paralyzed at home. That's the food poisoning chapter. If you think that things can't get any worse at this point, you're wrong. Dealing with Chill management almost makes food poisoning seem like the tamer option. Like any reasonable person stuck in this horrible food poisoning situation, I decide to send a kind email to Chill the next day asking for an explanation and a $25 refund at the bare minimum. Five days later, NO RESPONSE. After sending a reminder email, the manager finally responds with a basic email that doesn't address any of my concerns and only attempts to recuse himself from my food poisoning accusations. I reply to him the next day. Eight days later, NO RESPONSE. I send another follow-up. A few days later, still no response so I send another follow-up. Today, I finally got a response (!) from the Grapevine Police (!!) informing me that Chill management issued something along the lines of a RESTRAINING ORDER (!!!) against me. I know, it's so unbelievable that it's hilarious. Four emails from me and only one reply from Chill. In summary, here's what $25 spent at Chill got me: disgusting food, a really bad case of food poisoning, a restraining order and a grand display of Chill management's childish and cowardly antics. If you are interested in paying for any of these, then I invite you to try out Chill. If you want to be treated with an ounce of dignity and respect as a customer, then do NOT come to Chill. You have been warned. Go spend your money elsewhere. read more

I come here all of the time and am always impressed! Great food, atmosphere and staff!

Terrible service and a lying Manager! Waited 30 minutes for our tab, spoke to a manager who said 6 of the 8 waitresses were new. He claimed they are never "this busy" but then contradicted himself by saying he hired more staff to cover the busy season. So which one is it? I will never go back.. read more

Can you please verify the dress code? Was turned away because pants were to baggy. I was wearing a black Rangers tee, black dress pants, and red vans. I'd like to reiterate that...dress pants which are fairly fitted that I wear to work which is in a professional corporate setting and come no where near touching the ground. My friends who arrived earlier got in and they were wearing cargo shorts, tank tops, and hats. My first time there so I'll give you the benefit of doubt to clarify your dress code? I don't want to jump to conclusions but I'm a male and a minority those are the facts. I kind of feel like they May have reached there quota on one or the other. I'll wait for your clarification of dress code policy and if I was not up to the standards I'll happily edit my post and update my rating. But I will move forward accordingly. Thank you. read more

I drove 30 minutes to visit my buddy on his birthday (not really relevant but I like to tell a good story). I was wearing joggers, Jordan's, a Nike sweater, and a Boston Bruins fitted cap. As I walked up to the door, a gentleman in ripped jeans, work boots, a John Deere t-shirt, and a John Deere trucker hat walked out. I was then told by the bouncer that I couldn't come in because I was wearing joggers and a flat billed hat. Normally, I'd say ok thanks I understand and head home. But when someone who's clearly way more underdressed than I am walks out right in front me, then I'm told I can't come in because of "dress code"...? I'm going to have a problem. I don't plan on going back and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. read more

Non smoking...is the only positive. Took me 20 minutes to get a water and 30 minutes to order. At least 6 waitresses walked past me and 2 were supposedly in training. I asked for no cheese on my nachos...but they still put queso saying queso is liquid and not shredded so it is not defined as cheese by the kitchen. WOW. After I got my food this guy walked past and decided he wanted part of my nachos and decided to grab straight off my plate. OVERSERVED MUCH? No thanks. I bolted...after I paid my bill. OH and only 6 other people were in here....all dudes. read more

Stopped by this cool place on Saturday, it was super busy but service and food was great and beer was cold. Had the pleasure of talking with the manager George, he was very busy and appeared to be short staffed but he did his due diligence to Make sure we were taken care of. We will be back no doubt! read more

Order a draft beer or bottled beer so you don't have to trust the bartender for a fair count. I'm not looking for a hookup but having bartended I'll challenge any bartender there to a pour test if they know what that is. read more

Mika is the sweetest server in the house! She always had a huge smile and did her job well.

Went they with a group of friends worst service I have ever had the waitress had the worst attitude, ask to speak to a manager unfortunately he attitude was just as bad. Yes the patio is nice but Grapvine has a lot of nice patio go anywhere but Chill. Customer service is terrible and the drinks seemed very week to me not worth the money!!!!!!I had ONE drink at your establishment and was not intoxicated, the service was horrendous and maybe you as a manager should spend more time training your staff on their people skills instead of arguing with customers reviews on yelp. If you read down the list of comment you can clearly see that their is definitely a lack of customer service at Chill !!!!! read more

Place is definitely not "chill". Male bartender is probably the rudest bartender I've ever had to deal with. GM is also extremely inconsiderate and believes the value of the porch umbrellas is more than the value of his customers. Overpriced. Terrible service. Saw at least five people getting kicked out because they couldn't handle themselves. Cops were called. Definitely not a place to go if you you're looking for a good place to hang out with friends. Fail. Avoid this bar. read more

Alyssa was wonderful!!!! Very attentive & knowledgeable with the menu & Drinks! Will Deffinetly come back be to sit at her table.

I was excited by the reviews about the great patio BUT reality was greatly disappointing as smoking is permitted which ruined the enjoyment for us non-smokers. Food is fine...standard sports bar options but also a few vegetarian choices that were not fried which is why I gave them more than one star. Agree with other reviews about the service being slow. Our waitress was nice but we had to ask for water refills twice and our queso and chips appetizer came out at the same time as our food.. And she appeared to be the best waitress there. Not worth going when there are so many other dining options in Grapevine. read more

I am glad I went to Chill before reading the recent reviews on this establishment. There are a string of bad reviews for Chill that spring up right away on Yelp. I am glad I didn't read them because they would have discouraged me from going there. My experience was good. We had dinner at a local restaurant in Grapevine and then decided to take our large group to chill at Chill. Half of the group sat inside the bar and the other half chose the patio. The night was warm with a cool breeze and the patio was the perfect location to experience it. Service was great and we were always being checked on. Our group was just out there for a few drinks therefore I cannot comment on the food that was available. The highlight of Chill is in their parking lot at night. This is where the train tracks are located complete with old trains and compartments. The city lights the trains up at nights (it seems) and the old station comes to life. I really liked the setting and I had never been there during daylight hours to comment otherwise. To summarize, I wil visit Chill again with a large group very soon. read more

Horrible experience warm beer and bad food not good at all will never come back only seem to get noticed if you are a regular customer and they seem to over serve you bartender also drink on the job and text and talk on there phone instead of waiting on customer will never go back!!!!! read more

We have had the burgers here before which are usually really good. Today we ordered the Chill Burger medium. I took a bite out of it and it was very rare so I sent it back. When they brought me a new burger, which I expected, it was my original burger that had bites taken out of it and put back together. Need I say more? We told the waitress, manager came out said she would take care of us. We paid out bill cancelled our other orders and left. Not sure what "taken care of" means but we were not. We will not eat there again! read more

Did not enjoy my visit. I had bad service and I won't account all of that to the server because they were very busy but there are plenty of places in Grapevine I can go and not wait 10 to 15 minutes with an empty beer. The food as alright but not great and again I waited longer than usual for it. 1 extra star is on this because the staff was nice. read more

This bar is terrible, the service is so slow, the managers are rude to customers and employees, I definitely will never go there again.

We went on a Thursday night, I am from Ohio so we were just looking for a good time! ( my family lives in grapevine) I requested a song and the Dj basically told me i was trashy and stated only trashy girls request that song and he wasn't allowed to play that song. It was the wobble for goodness sakes! He told me to take it up with the manager. The manager was no where to be found. Met some rude gentleman that worked there at the door and he said he doesn't like the type of crowd the wobble brings and that if i didn't like it i should leave. So that's exactly what we did. Drinks were really over priced and staff was rude. Needless to say I will not be going back there, nor my family. read more

Seems like a cool atmosphere. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it. We waited to be seated; there were only outdoor seats available. We agreed to it since there were heaters. We stood bundled up next to a heater... And waited... And waited. After about 10- 15 minutes we went in and requested to wait for an indoor table. After being seated; we were served waters & menus... And waited.... And waited.... And waited. We eventually gave up. 30-45 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged or served is just plain ridiculous. read more

Shockingly great food for both the price and the location. I can get a full top of the line meal (definitely NOT bar food) for under $10. Booze is affordable, great specials, and a full meal. Décor isn't anything special and the last time ''hip'' was mentioned in a sentence with ''Grapevine'' it was referring to the nearby old folks home. I've never been in when it's packed, but it's because this is Grapevine, where businesses go to die. If this bar was in Uptown, it'd kill. I'm being nitpicky. Chill has become my go to location for a classy (I know, in GRAPEVINE?!) delicious meal. Great servers, great drink specials, great food. read more

Ive never been refused entry to an establishment in my life and this place apparently doesn't allow jeans. Must be a new rule since my last 2 visits but I will not be back after the way my sister and I were treated at the door and refused entry. Signed up for yelp just to write this review. Never felt so disrespected in my life, had to inform others read more

The manager freaked out and started accusing patrons of falling asleep in lady's bathroom... Now, not only this is creepy that a male manager was somehow observing a girl sleeping in a ladys bathroom, how he went about accusing random people without any substantial evidence or witness is completely absurd and unprofessional. This was then followed by no apology, and no clarity to its fiasco either; No doubt this is a great location, scene and crowd but all these factors are being counteracted by a personnel at helm who doesn't quite grasp the service industry. read more

Chilling with the coworkers. Alyssa was our server and was very friendly with us. Gave us the recommendations that were happy with.

Have been here several times and love it, but tonight our service was horrible! The food is good but the attitude of the manager was the most disgraceful and unprofessional thing I have ever seen. No eye contact from the manager when rushing our food and just dropped our food at our table and walked away. Was not even the staffs fault. As a former cast member of the Walt Disney company I am extremely shocked in the horrible customer service efforts and attitude of the manager here at chill. So very sad, will not be returning. read more

Again, what a great place. The food and service were excellent. Angie our server was amazing. The food, wings, bacon wrapped shrimp, and loaded fries are some of the best in Dallas. The manager, Teri came by 3 times to make sure we were taken care of. Excellent place. read more

review for night life only, as we didn't go for food and just ended up dancing all night. came here as the 4th stop on a girls night out in grapevine. I work near here, so have been to a number of places, but never chill and we had a great time! we were a little tipsy, and there was a top40/hip-hop dj, so it just kind of made sense to start dancing! Yeah i know i know you are in grapevine and in your late (ahem late) 20's, but oh well, no one knows you here!!! will be back to sit on the patio and will be back to review food (it was pouring down rain, and we ate at esparza's). great for dancing with the girls every now and then. read more
