Today, I logged into the rewards and qualified for free chips and salsa, a $6+ value. I also ordered the Santa Fe hamburger and fries. The bartender, who doubled as our server, performed a great job at helping us. She was especially good in bringing water. (I drink tons of water!!) The manager on duty also stopped by to check on us. I said I shouldn't be charged since they were out of broccoli and also I was only have one side. She went to ask manager and they insisted on the up charge! After not eating at a Chili's for 11 years we decided the TikTok craze on the cheese sticks was pulling us in. Major regrets, wish we stayed away. My wife and I got the triple dipper and nothing was warm so yes definitely did not get any cheese pulls. The Nashville seasoning is very odd and just killed the taste leaving the mozz and chicken tasting very blah, we didn't finish those. The avocado sauce for egg rolls has changed and is not as good either. Our son got the 5 piece chicken strips and the waiter had to get him one more piece cause 3 pieces were uneatable pieces of chicken. Horrible...the hostess was rude. Our server argued with me after he brought my food and I told him that my food was cold and that the quesadilla was hard and had hardly any cheese literally. I told him to bring me a quesadilla as shown on the menu. He again and again told me that's the way they are made. I wanted to see the menu and to please bring me one. Pointed out the quesadilla on the menu and that I wanted one as shown on the menu. He looked at me with a blank stare and AGAIN told me that there was nothing wrong with my food..a hard tortilla with little or no cheese. I finally told him to take my plate away and to take it off my bill.He never offered to make it right. I'll never visit Chili's in Victoria. Terrible experience. I wish I could do 0 stars but 1 is as low as it allows. Ordered chili and soup BOWLS curbside. It's cold, rainy and we live about 12 minutes from restaurant. 1. Food took 20 minutes over the pickup time 2. The food portions were ridiculous (see images) 3. The food was not representative of what is served in restaurant (see pictures) 4. Manager admitted that this was an issue (then why hadn't it been fixed?!?) 5. Resolution was for me to return or get "coupons" 6. Refund was long process involving faxes and many days (whatever) 7. Parked and told them I was in parking spot. Went 5 minutes past time supposed to be ready and I called, put on hold, told my order was ready. I had to ask for them to bring to me. By time I got home (5 minutes), burger was cold. To go system doesn't work! I probably won't go back unless I go for sit in. read more

We had such a blessed experience. We were gifted some gift cards and we tried to use them once. For some reason they didn't work. They were the kind that had multiple restaurant options. So several months later we tried again. I called ahead & told her about our previous visit & wanted to see if we could get help on trying to use them. The girl i spoke with was so nice over the phone and said i could ask for her when we got there. When we arrived, we barely parked and she already came out to the car. Her and the manager tried for quite some time to get them to work. You could tell they really tried hard but they still didn't work. So we said we wouldn't be able to afford to get the food and the manager told us to hold on. He came back with the food and said he would take care of it. We had tears in our eyes and i pray they are blessed tenfold for their kindness. We may not be able to afford going out to eat often but this will be the top choice for all of us. First time here in years. And it was Mother's Day. Hostess said there may be a 30 minute wait though we were seated immediately. Server was very nice and attentive. Ordered the BBQ quesadillas. I did not care for the BBQ sauce...it was not to my taste. Ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls and, sadly, they were soggy and not crunchy which was disappointing as I really love those things. The sauce seemed to be watered down as it was thin and fairly tasteless. My overall experience at Chili's: I understand that there are days where there's staff shortage but to have to wait over an hour for food to be delivered to a table?? Not only that, having to wait 20 minutes for our drinks and chip and salsa??? Patience is what a lot of people say when eating out, but this was just crazy.... Our server apologized for the wait at the beginning but throughout our dine in, services ALSO started to slow down. Tables under the server's care were also noticing that their table wasn't getting attended to and were getting upset. My brothers and I noticed 2 other parties sat down in booths after 20 minutes to finally getting our chips and salsa along with our drinks. Not to surprise by the experience so far, BOTH booths were absolutely upset by the slow service and *mainly* food delivery to their table. One booth we noticed only got appetizers and drinks, waited for their food for quite a long time, but not close to how long my family and myself had waited.. As my family and I finally got our food after over an hour and were finally eating, I witnessed TWO tables ONLY pay for their appetizers and drinks and left immediately d/t verrry slow food service... One couple (another party) was waiting to receive their bill and to ask for to-go containers by our server for tonight. As per usual, no service was provided to them d/t slow services. Witnessed the husband/bf get up and retrieved their OWN to-go containers, paid their table, and left immediately. I was able to spot the event and noticed his facial expression was not in a good tone whatsoever... You can guess, slow service and absolutely slow food delivery to that table. What I found astounding is that those three parties sat down after 20 minutes of waiting for my table's appetizers and drinks and ALL three parties left before my family and I got a couple bites into our meal. Our guess so far was that there were only 2 chefs in the kitchen. Never wrote a long narrative for a restaurant on Yelp before but these events were just too good to keep in the books. Hopefully Chili's improve as the food is good but there's new food chains popping up now so competition is gonna be crazy. I haven't been to Chilis in yrs. When did it get so salty and over processed? My fries came so salty I could barely eat the few I had. My hamburger patty was over salted as well. So disappointing. People need to realize there's a staffing shortage and be more patient. If not, keep yourself at home and make your own food. I am currently still on the waitlist for 50 min. The hostess said 15 min. We were asked to wait in the car. Phone number was correct because i got a text adding me to the waitlist. About 45 min into the wait i joined Texas Roadhouse waitlist. 5 min later texas road house text me to come in. Im seated with food right now and have yet to get a text from chilis to come in. This place gets two stars due to the server, John who was exceptional! Everything else about this location was not worth any additional stars. The whole place was very worn down looking overall. Not the usual Chili's standard I am used to enjoying at all. The bathrooms especially. The stall doors had broken locks. Nothing was really clean f on the moment you stepped in the entrance rug was filthy (not just one or two days dirty). Our server, John was on top of orders with a smile. The restaurant has been doing a great job of trying to offer quick and accurate service curbside while we've been struggling with the COVID quarantine. They developed a method quickly and safely to stay open and available to serve people. They package it up and run out to the cars to make sure they have identified who is waiting. The restaurant is always busy - which is a tribute to good management. Other restaurant chains have come and went because they couldn't get their young staff to learn and stay diligent in good customer service. Accidents and missteps may happen at times. On 7/12/13 my wife and I ordered a triple dippers with potato skins, chicken crispers, and southwest egg rolls and a guacamole burger to go along with chips and salsa. When I went to pick up the order they seemed very confused with how to handle someone picking up their to go order, it evidently requires 3 people to accomplish this monumental task of serving a customer at this store. When they finally managed to assemble the three items I listed above I noticed I was missing the extra salsa we had ordered so I told the server and was quickly notified that the one container was the extra salsa. I tried to explain when we've ordered the same thing several times before that I get two containers not one and I was told that they have been doing it wrong before, so in lieu of arguing I paid and left. When I arrived home and opened our order I found that everything except the fries with my burger was burnt to a crisp rendering it pretty much inedible( see the photos). I travel for business and frequent many Chili's. This one has the biggest joke for a bar. The smallest bar ever why even bother. Like many business travelers I am not looking to sit alone in the restaurant. So I will find the local Chili's have a beer and a bite. Not here. I made a comment to the server that it was the smallest bar ever and she responds well no one wants to sit there. Ha ha well no kidding. So as it turns out as I was leaving I got a call that took some time so after I walked back in and managed to get a spot at the Tiny Bar. To my right a concrete pillar that blocked the view of me as the bartender prepares drinks for servers. Finally got waited on. Bar service was slow although the bartender was a nice young man. After my meal I ordered a frozen Margarita and was told the machine was down. Ended up next door at Texas Road House. Over All one of the worst Chili's experiences ever. Expect to wait 10+ minutes before you ever see your server and 45+ minutes before your lukewarm, overpriced bar food makes it to your table. Chili's servers are given a section of 6+ tables to mind, which means that your requests que in the server's mind with roughly 6 billion other requests. Try not to make any changes to the menu if you plan to eat here, because your poor server will be doing great to get your food to you at all. Another point of contention with me; Chili's has changed many of their staple menu items. I've been to this location maybe 4-5 times and my visits are always complicated - even to go orders. Disappointing. It's April 9th, I'm leaving the restaurant now and an unnecessary wait. First, no one greeted me upon entering in. I was left standing there for nearly 5 mins until the male hostess greeted me. I was told my wait would be 10 minutes - although that's a very reasonable wait time - it was unnecessary because there were two tables at the bar area that sat there dirty for over 10 mins and out of the waiters that passed by the table no one stopped to bus the table - lost money. I would've gladly sat at either of those tables. The long wait for all persons waiting was just unnecessary. There was even a large party waiting and from the time I got there the table they were eventually sat at was vacant the entire time. So, the wait time appears to be based on when someone can wipe down tables and not because you all have a surplus of patrons. I just hope one day I can visit and have a pleasant experience- now I'm off to find dinner elsewhere. Wasted time. read more

I dined in on January 13 th for lunch and with my usual people watching I notice the man who seemed to be the manager was wiping down the tables after the busboy cleaned off all dishes as customers were leaving, to my dismay I thought I was just not seeing the whole process of the cleaning of the table when he wiped down table top and table keypad with a single dry paper towel. I mentioned it to the rest of the party that was with me and sure enough two more vacated tables near us the identical same process happened and immediately seated another part in those booths.
