Mushy SW egg roll.
Jamie R.

Generally, if the food or service is "ehhh", I don't leave a bad review. I figure people are having a bad day, maybe some equipment is off, or something else. I try to write it off and give them the benefit of the doubt. That being said, Chili's really let me down today. First, I called my order in versus using an app. Very professional and answered all my questions. No issues there. When I pulled into a spot, I had received a text with a link to pay. Great. Except the website it took me to had options for 18, 20, & 25% tip. If I tried to change to custom tip, the site stalled/crashed. If I'm sitting in a restaurant, I always tip. If the service is great, I'm all for 22-25%. But to place it in a bag and walk 40 feet, I'm gonna tip less. The website was having none of that. After about 10 times, I finally gave in and tipped 18% Then Ashley came out and checked in with me. Very polite with a friendly smile. Told her I called in and she was happy to check on it. Received my order promptly, with a smile and thanks. That where the good news end, sadly. I order the Triple Bites appetizer. 1 of the 2 burger bites patty was burn, and I ended up just eating the other 1. The Buffalo Boneless wings had a funny taste to them, and the Ranch didn't help. But my favorite item, the Southwest Egg-rolls, was so undercooked that the roll actually drooped when I picked it up. I pulled one apart and it was still doughy inside. Ugh! So disappointed. Not sure what's happening at Chili's, but aside from Ashley and the sweet tea, this lunch was a total loss. I don't think I'll be trying them again anytime soon.

weekend nights are your made nights, weekngihts are your found nights…read more your friday and saturday nights should be packed. you should not offer a single drink or beer special, these are "given" nights, if for your bar or club they are not packed, then you have major, i mean serious problems. now your weeknights are your found nights, when you find the crowds and the revenues that are derived from ''the fun" and "the wow factors" that are systemic to the format you implement. so many bar and club owners are challenged by not having the insight, or foresight to pack their weeknights, thus resulting in "weaknights". proven promotional tactics build your weeknights into solid cash flow, revenue generating, bottom line showing nights. weeknights are about creating demand. not for drink prices or cheap beer but for the lure, the hook, the draw....................... that typical club owner, bar owner remark "nobody goes out during the week" is bogus and baloney. of course they go out. the problem is they are not frequenting your sports bar , because, your boring, basic, dull and predictable. when was the last time you took a long hard look at what you do, how you do it, why you do it, when you do it and where you do it? your overwhelmed with complacency rather than imposing consistency. you change your nights so often, because you don't see instant gratification, that nobody in your local area knows what to expect. you give away the bar so often that you left with no money to pay the bills. your staff is ripping you off blind, because your drawing the wrong crowd, who does not tip. your hire people who are much too inexperienced to know the right path to take, so they fake it, resulting in your sports bar is losing tens of thousands of dollars. weeknights do not have to be "weaknights' not now, not going into the major money months. it's your fault, because you have no strategy. none. what is your nightly promotion scenario? when are you going to "blaze a new promotions path"? how can you have high expectations, when you have low implementation? stop settling for non spending, trouble making, slobs who don't spend and certainly don't tip. stop lowering your cover charge and giving away your bar. stop listening to everyone who know nothing. when your ready to make the changes that will result in a packed club, a jammed bar, a wall to wall lounge with spenders, a line outside your sports bar, then email: richunger@promotingnightclubs.com or as i always say " just stay the same and be lame".
