Chilis is Chilis!! We stopped for Sunday lunch. The parking lot was full but the restaurant was quiet. We sat at a booth in the bar. Service was quick but not very attentive. We were blessed with expo/ table runners for most of our needs. We both ordered 3 for me and I opted for the smash burger. My partner ordered the big QP. My burger was by far the better choice so we cut it in half and brought the majority of the big QP home, a special treat for the pups. Also ordered a couple of margs. The resolution marg ( marg of the month) was super gross. Left it on the table. The casinos marg was good though. We also started with chips and they were pretty good. We will come back because Chilis is one of those usually pretty good staple food places. Although this visit definitely could have been better! read more

OK now my eyes are wide open every time we drive past this restaurant it is jampacked parking lot. Original plan was Buffalo wild wings in Beloit. We walked in places empty nobody greeted us so we walked out immediately to Chili's at 3 PM. Not busy at all as we walked up a wonderful, smiling employee was already pulling the door open for us greeting us. As we sat down the bar and immediately came over and took our drink orders. We just got water with lemon the silver case apologize which he had no reason to, but that was sweet. I ordered the watermelon lemonade. My daughter ordered the strawberry lemonade so delicious. We got the bottom list chips and salsa as we were ordering our entrée the tips for already on their way to the table warm crispy. We also got a small appetizer of mozzarella sticks a definite go to.. so warm and delicious cheese pull. We each got the 3 for me. We both for a salad and a wonderful server gave us a plate since it was in a bowl. I got the cajan pasta. My daughter got the sirloin with steamed broccoli and a nice amount of mashed potatoes. The garlic bread that came with my entrée. It was nice and warm. I just cannot say enough about this establishment so well there is how you should see a restaurant.. the only regret I have is not leaving more than 25% tip since the server definitely deserved more. Reading this in Macenzie Park is a definite go to spot. I do not drink, but I did notice. They had amazing drink specials, a huge variety and of course the menu was vast. Went to Chili's to celebrate our anniversary--because nothing says romance like molten lava cake and sizzling skillets, right? Well, apparently, so does disappointment. I ordered a salad with chicken... what I got was a bowl of leafy loneliness. No chicken. Nada. They did bring me shrimp... cold ones, like they came straight from the witness protection program. My wife ordered a quesadilla salad--sounds delicious until you realize they forgot the cheese. Like... what even is that? A sadilla? When I pointed it out, the server and manager were nice and did eventually bring me chicken... in a tiny dish... after I'd basically eaten all the greens like a guilt-ridden rabbit. The staff? Firstly our waiter was fantastic! They changed the menu again. Doubled the prices. The chicken(3 of us had chicken) was awful. Stringy,hard to chew, just gross. My other son loved his sliders. As I walked in the double doors, there was hostess who greeted us. It wasn't really busy during the lunch so we got sat right away. The server was nice and she took our drink order right away and not too long after our order as well. The side salad came first but unfortunately, it did have some brown lettuce in there so it wasn't so appetizing. Our entrees though were pretty good. We had the chicken crispers and the salad. The server came over a couple of times to check on us so that was good. The ambiance was your typical food chain crowd. It wasn't too loud in there and the booths seemed pretty comfortable. Overall, this was your typical chain restaurant that has all the classic meals such as burgers, salads, etc... I would definitely come back again but I probably won't get the side salad. read more

Absolutely DISGUSTING experience time after time. This time, picked up all of our food for it to be completely raw, missing a lot of it, and they closed once we realized it. This review is all about the menu selection. We were very happy and satisfied with the service. We used to stop here frequently for the lunch special of endless soup and salad served with tortilla chips. Unfortunately that is no longer offered. Now one bowl of soup is $6.99. I am really a big fan of their chili, but unfortunately they no longer offer chili. Have they forgotten their namesake? The last 3 times there we walked out twice the 3 rd time took the food forever. This used to be the best Chilis a few years back and we went at least 3 times a month. It went down hill after Covid and can't seem to recover. 3 times ago we were waiting to be seated and I overheard the hosts tell the other hosts the a table was really upset they have been waiting over an hour for there food so we left. 4 weeks later we tried again on a Thursday night at 7. We got seated. We sat there for 25 min and were totally ignored. Staff can by served food next to us. No one even looked at us. We got up and left. We were just there last Thursday. Got seated. Wanted a steak dinner, hadn't been there for a while. First we were served Dr.Pepper that was almost clear, our server set them down and walked away, I had to flag down a different server to get them replaced. Our server never once checked on us after we placed our order until it was time to pay the bill. We had rewards that the computer said had already been used, which was impossible since signed up for them sitting there. I asked about that and was told that I couldn't use them on our order. Chilis is right by my house, but I rarely go there. It's always crowded, but they do work their magic and get you in and out! When I do go, almost always get their chips and salsa and a side of ranch. I do not like their salsa at all, but they have the best ranch in town! I always order the honey chipotle chicken crispers. They come with choice of potato, corn on the cob. It's always the same. Always good. Enough to share, really. The desserts are good, the fried pickles are good. We came here on a Thursday night around 7:30 and my mind is still blown on how packed this place was. A wait for a table at 7:30 on a Thursday? We didn't wait long. Got our drinks very quickly, and both apps and entrees came out promptly as well. Our server Heather was SO sweet and so attentive. I had the chipotle chicken crispers, loaded mashed potatoes and fries. Yes, all the carbs. And it was delicious. The sauce on the chicken is sooooo good. The guac for an app is also surprisingly good. My mom tried the margarita of the month which had henessey in it and she loved the flavor. I had the strawberry lemonade which is always my go to because it tastes so fresh. The only downside is this place is so loud! We have dined at Many Chili's Bar & Grills over the years across the country as it became our go-to place for meeting friends and family. On April 12th, 2022 we met some friends here who live locally while we visit family in the area. The restaurant was not crowded with many empty booths so we were seated immediately while we waited for our friends. We explained to the waiter (Chris) that we had a coupon for a free appetizer and that our friends would be paying for their own meal. Immediately Chris began pacing up and down the row as he said he hates the corporate coupons that make his life miserable as one never knows how their computers will process them. Nonetheless, we ordered our meal, drinks, and appetizer just as our friends showed up to order their meal, etc. Things progressed normally as we received our food and we conversed with our friends. The problem started when my wife logged on to scan-n her free appetizer coupon into their portable computer. The two orders were clearly present and with separate order numbers, but the very limited controls available to us did not let us select our own individual order, it only offered us to pay a split amount of the entire order. We summoned the waiter (Chris) who began pacing up and down the aisle complaining that our use of coupons complicated his life. After he fiddled with the controls on the portable terminal for several minutes, he said he was going to go split the order manually. After 15 minutes he did not return, by then we took turns visiting the restroom. Both of us independently heard our waiter (Chris) complaining to other guests that he was servicing that he was very tired of customers bringing in corporate coupons that kept messing up orders and no one was doing anything about it. My wife heard Chris complaining to a different table than I did. In no case did we complain, on the contrary, we just raised our hands to ask for help in checking out so we could leave our table so someone else could eat there. Finally, the acting manager showed up and we eagerly asked for his help. He fumbled with the controls for about 3 minutes and handed the portable computer back to me. As I picked up the computer to put my credit card in it, the acting manager darted off to another table on the other side of the restaurant. As I looked at the computer, nothing had changed, it still showed both separate orders, but would not let us select an individual order to pay for it. Our friends were paying cash, so they went to find the manager to pay for their order. The waiter Chris saw that our terminal had locked up when he was editing at the main terminal, so we waited while he rebooted the portable terminal. After another ten-minute delay, it was finally rebooted and he handed the device back to me, only it still showed both orders, but no way to select an individual order. Our friends were now putting on their coats to leave so I did what any desperate customer would do who was abandoned by the manager & waiter, I selected split order and paid for the exact amount of our order even though we could not select an individual order number. We added a 20% tip and by then our friends were back from visiting the restrooms, they had their receipt from paying cash and my wife confirmed she was emailed her receipt. As our friends came back to the table the manager was right behind them to inform me that I had paid for the wrong order and that he had backed out our payment, but I would have to scan my card again. I was beginning to worry that I was the crazy one, but after assurances that the first charge hadn't gone through I again scanned my card into the portable computer. This time I selected an 18% tip although it should have been none, the whole time all of us had acted calm while all that had been presented to us was chaos, incompetence, and unprofessional behavior without proper training. I checked our credit card and both charges were posted, I have disputed them, but no action has been taken on their part. We have all 3 receipts (cash & 2 debits showing the extra charged payment). Beware of this place, they do intentional extra Fraudulent charges & are very inept at customer service! Do not do business with Chili's Bar & Grill Restaurant. read more

Love chilis. The chips and salsa is like nothing you've ever had before. A big must. Their steaks are served with peanuts, I believe. So you peanut allergic people be aware. Their bacon burger is really good and I recommend it. The margaritas are nice as well. A burger, drink, and one other entree you can get away with spending probably $30. Not terrible. Usually the servers are responsive, check-in with you and see how you are doing as opposed to dropping food off and never checking with you. I had one amazing experience here before and it was my best restaurant experience ever. The waitress was providing us with service by checking if we needed anything every so often and when our water was low, she immediately refill it. The big kicker was when we wanted to take the chips home with salsa, she not only bagged us chips, but gave us salsa in a new bowl ready to go! We went back a second time and asked for this, but the waiter gave us the bag and told us to pour whatever salsa we don't use into the container ourselves. The southwest egg rolls are always money and both my kids had burgers and seem to enjoy them, but they can't do brisket. I'm back on low carb and they had a choose three meat option and I got double brisket and jalapeno sausage. Did not want the sides and asked if that had equal value to an extra link to fall on the plate, but was informed it was not of same value. Ok shucks, I still don't want the sides or sauce. I understand it's hard to find employees right now, but I've tried to come for dinner twice now in the past two weeks, and it's been missing key components to a successful restaurant. The first time, there was a sign on the door that said "no bartender," but our server said we could order drinks...just not sit at the bar. So we ordered two Jack and cokes. It took over 20 minutes to get them, and our food came out 2 minutes after the drinks. Our server was great. Tonight, we came in to be seated and there was no hostess. She eventually came up after checking on something at the bar, and said there was no more available seating at the bar, yet there were several seats open in the bar area. We decided to leave in fear that service would be slow again tonight. As a serve myself, I know it's hard to find employees right now, but Chilis needs to prepare for 7:00 dinner service and schedule wisely. read more

I have seen this location slowly deteriorate over the last few years. Today was our last visit ever. The waitress took our order and brought out or drinks. That's it. No refills, no checking on our food ( which i will describe in a min) and no real service. She had a young guy helping who was very nice and tried his best to bring our food ASAP. Queso came, but had to wait for the chips. Queso got cold, drinks came out and then chips. My shrimp fajitas were so bland and lacking any kind of flavor. I have had more flavor from white rice than their spanish rice. I had to find a box for my wife's salad she didn't finish and the restrooms had toilet paper hanging off the stalls and all over the floor. The manager was at the front playing on his phone instead of making sure his restaurant was running right. We just had 5" of snow drop, so this saturday night, there were only 6 tables seated in the whole place. As we walked out, a truck pulled up and asked if they were open. Probably the best chain restaurant out here. Good for every occasion. Servers are on point, food comes out hot and correct. Never a bad time. My only complaint is there is never anything ground breaking. As a whole, it's always a safe bet that Chili's will come through in a bind. read more
