Dear Chili's. Thank you for one of the worst dining experiences that I've had in a long time. Thank you for serving our appetizer, and meal, prior to our drinks. Thank you for letting me enjoy your microwaved baby back ribs. Luckily it came with fries so I was able to eat more than the few bites of meat that hadn't radiated off of the rib bones. Here's a first: the host yelled at by the waitress because he sat my family in the restaurant and not in the bar area. Then she yells, "I'm not serving them if they sit out there." We waited over an hour for a table when we were told the wait was 45 minutes. Once we finally got seated we learned there were only two waiters for the entire restaurant. We waited another 15 minutes and no waiter ever showed. We left without ordering. We will not be back. read more

I had not been to this or any chilis in over 9 years do to a poor experience previously. I was out voted and we ended up here. The hostess was very friendly and we were seated quickly. The waitress was really uninterested in working that day, we saw her a total of 4 times. Drink order, food order, food drop an check drop. We had to flag down the hostess as she walked by to get drink refills. If they get rid of this waitress it would be a big improvement. The food was very good. The fish tacos had very good flavor and their burgers aren't bad. read more

Zero stars!!!! This was the second time I've come to eat there and waited for over 10min without every being checked on once we were seated! My family and I ended up walking out. The service at this Chili's is typically lackluster. We have never seen a manager walking around the restaurant. Wait staff is slow to respond but quick to give you the check. The food isn't bad, but it's nothing to write home about either. It used to be better, in my opinion. I ordered the Cajun pasta with grilled chicken. It was barely spicy. I've eaten microwave burritos with more spice. The chips taste like copious amounts of salt are literally dumped on them. The salsa is very liquidy, not thick by any stretch of the imagination.. NOT kid friendly. An hour and half into my dinner the server told me to quiet and control my children as other guests had complained. They are children and were not being a bother as they FINALLY had food and drinks. I waited for 30 minutes to be seated.. I ordered my food and two kids meals all with desert. I waited at least 15-20 minutes for WATER and other drinks. After another half hour we got our onion petals.. then waited 15 more minutes for our actual dinner. Mine was disgusting and cold, I picked it apart and had about 4 bites total. My daughters kid burgers were charred and hard as a rock. I tried to peel it apart to get to any good part, but could not. So she did not eat. My son enjoyed one half of his grilled cheese. We never received our deserts. We ran out of drinks at least 3 times. I asked twice for some water and got it at about 5 minutes before I left. I asked for the manager after being told about my children. It took forever for one to come speak with me, but she was understanding in the matter once she finally did come talk. For them wanting to complain about my children, there was absolutely no rush in getting me my check, which would have allowed for a speedy exit. I told the manager that I understand they are short staffed, but clearly they cannot handle even 6 tables at a time, so they should think about turning people away. I spent a total of 2 hours here and it was such a waste! I had to come home and cook for me and my daughter. Not only nasty food, it's poorly cooked AND the service is #dogshitservice. #notipforbadwaiters Don't recommend unless you like terrible service with inedible or gross food. read more

I go to this Chili's two to three times a month. Chili's is supposed to be all about Tex-Mex but it's just a chain with a nod to Tex-Mex if you ask me. The bottomless chips and salsa are the best in Lincoln, even better than from the numerous Mexican restaurants in town. However you have to buy them as an appetizer or get them as part of a meal deal. The margaritas here are good. The hostesses are generally very attentive and good-looking and the servers are all friendly. The food is very good. My favorites are the turkey sandwich with bacon and the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. read more

The chips and salsa are not as well known at Chili's, as they are at some Mexican restaurants, but they should be, because they are better! The chips are light, crispy and served warm, and the salsa is tasty, with just the right amount of hot to satisfy. We went here for mid-afternoon lunch. As far as atmosphere- it was Chili's- enough said. We had a half order of the Texas Cheese fries for an appetizer and liked them. Spicy and good taste. We wished we had ordered the full order. My wife had the Queso dip and bottomless chips. They were OK but nothing to write home about. I had 1/2 rack of ribs and fries. The ribs were good. I've had better but I'd order these again. The fries were good. What prompted me to even write a review was the server- Raylin did an excellent job. He was prompt with bringing drinks & extra chips for the Queso. Checked in regularly but didn't hang out. I've had lots of servers that could take a lesson from him. Right when you walk in the place has a dirty smell . Like tables cleaned with dirty rags / dirty bathroom smell .. We were NOT impressed. Server was good, but the good all came out at the same time, including the salads and took quite some time. We had a party of 3 adults and 2 children. All orders had something wrong with them. It took multiple complaints before they were able to get it right. Finally they did get it right but took their manager over 10 minutes to refill out drinks. By then, we were done eating and done asking for anything. The only offer he was willing to give us for all of our trouble was free dessert which we declined. I had to ask for some of our bill to be compensated. He obviously was not going to offer it on his own. He did compt 2 of our meals after I made the request. read more

My son and I eat here on a regular basis. We have never had an issue. We are always greeted right away with a smile. The servers are terrific. The loaded baked potato soup is the best we have found. Prices are great for the amount of food that you receive. read more

Came here for my nephew 4th birthday. I ordered chipotle chicken tenders and the chicken was not cooked through at all. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter she seemed not to concerned about the issue. They sent the manager over (Jeff) he asked what the issue was like he wasn't already notified that I was served RAW food. I told him the issue he said sorry and walked off. The service at this location was HORRIBLE. THIS ISNT the way I planned spending my nephew birthday at all, almost getting poisoned. My husband and I went to chili's in Lincoln, NE and weren't so sure how it would go since it was so packed with people from floor to floor of the restaurant. In spite of that and the big number of people waiting, it ended up seeming as though we were waited on quickly along with very friendly service. The service from the waitress was very polite, friendly and there was no feeling vibed from them to just hurry up and get out of there. Which was nice since I am pregnant. The food was at excellent taste. I had subbed my homestyle fries for a side of mashed potatoes and they let me have both since they accidentally brought out the fries right before they brought the mashed potatoes. Even though it was super busy they still kept waiting on us a proper amount of times, never felt neglected which can happen especially when restaurants are busy..My husband and I were both very satisfied and would go back along with telling others to go. read more

Horrible customer service, will never go there again and will tell as many people as possible my story and advise them not to go. 30 minute wait with open tables in the back, 30 minutes before anyone came to our table 30 minutes to get our food and over 30 to finally get our bill. The computers were supposedly down and they could not do a hand ticket. When we would ask about the progress of our bill they rolled their eyes at us and never once said they were sorry. The manager honestly should find another line of work, no compassion or knowledge of true customer service. When I asked him for a discount on our bill due to our dissatisfaction he said he couldn't do that but he could give us coupons for our next meal.
