I'm normally never one to have a problem with a restaurant experience, but this place is hands down the worst consumer experience I have ever had. The wait for a table in an almost empty restaurant was 20 minutes and everything that followed was an additional 30+ minutes. No refills offered and when asked multiple times for refills and to go boxes, they never came.. The worst was at the end of the meal, they explained that they had mixed up our ticket with another tables and expected us the pay the bill for that table because the party that had mistakenly paid ours had left... I have never seen such poor management as an employee or customer. After an almost 45 minute discussion with the manager on duty, I finally got the check sorted out but I was met with hostility throughout the entire thing. We have been to other Chili's restaurants but what blew us away was the friendly and fast service. We ate at the bar I had the Santa Fe salad which was good. Our spirited bartender Brooke was great and even gave us recommendations for what to do in the area ( we just moved here from out of state). Brooke should manage her own Chili's! The Yelp app "waitlist" feature for this Chili's is completely unreliable. At first the app said "no wait" and there were no options for joining the wait list. Not trusting this on a busy Sunday, we called the restaurant. After several attempts because of a confusing and obnoxious prerecorded phone prompt, I reached someone. I asked, ""do you still offer call ahead seating?" Without even knowing the size of our party, a somewhat rude gentleman said we would have at least an hour to an hour-and-a-half wait. Decided to sit in the bar area as the place was quite packed for dinner. They had a great deal with half rack ribs which finished off with dessert. Just went for the regular sauce but they had a few to choose from. We also ordered a new option, the prime rib tacos. It was delicious. Cheap for the size and filling quality. Very filling. Also ordered the Tito's Punch. Fresh fruit with rum and vodka. It was yummy! I thought it was great how we both got ID'ed to ensure we were both of age which I have never seen any bars do ever. The only downside was our food taking so long to be prepared because their was an error in the order and they brought us a burger instead of the ribs. It got fixed eventually. The first time my meal was supposed to be $22 with tip and they charged my card twice and I caught it in the store and the manager said there's nothing she can do. And this time My meal was supposed to be around $15 with tip, instead they charged my card two times for two different amounts. I love Chili's and decided to go there for lunch while visiting Cleveland, TN. When We first entered We had to wait several minutes before being seated, and keep in mind that this was right after reopening so although seating was limited there were very few people were in the restaurant so wasn't like they were busy. The Waitress moved in slow motion and I felt as if we were a bother. When we got our food I was so disappointed, it was greasy, sloppy and no taste. This place was by far one of the worse Chili's I've been in. We had to keep asking the waitress for more drinks, salt, pepper and napkins. The food is ok. I've never found anything I've loved other than the chips and salsa. There's no consistency in quality. I really like the Southwest Eggrolls but at this last visit they come out looking like yesterday's leftovers reheated. I got the shrimp tacos this time. Well, right off the bat (we sat in the bar area) there were no clean tables so we sat down at a dirty one. My husband and I both ordered the 3 for $10 specials. I had recently received an email stating that the fried chicken sandwich would be on the 3/10 deal til the end of the month so this is what I ordered. Was surprised when we got the bill that I was billed a $3 upcharge for this which was not mentioned on my email. I ordered an extra salsa for our chips & salsa . . . . didn't get it. We ordered more (chips & salsa) as the ones we got were incredibly greasy. Never got them either. I understand that they are short-staffed, as is everyone but this was NOT a good experience. This is the worst location around because I went with a group of 6 so when we got there I went to check in and the lady in the front told me the wait would be 30 minutes before we would get a table but that's not the issue. The real issue was that we ordered then it took a hour before we got our food, after I got my food my steak was exposed to be medium well but it was well done so the waitress took my steak back to get me a new one but the new one ended up being the same as the first one. What's not to like about mediocre food that's the same as Applebee's? Flip a coin and you lose either way. 2nd tier food-service grade product where it's thaw, warm, and serve. The bar has not been wiped down the entire time I have been here, there are empty glasses and a plate sitting on the bar. I have watched staff walk by litarlly 30 times look and not take the plate or glasses to the kitchen. There are two cartons of orange juice that the bartender brought from the kitchen that have been sitting above the refrigerator for 35 minutes. This is by far the worst Chili's I have ever been too. If the front of the house is this unsanitary I can not imagine what the kitchen looks like Eat here at your own peril. Something is just WRONG at this location. The servers don't seem to generally care, the managers are usually defensive, and there's no wireless. Who doesn't have wireless for their customers nowdays? People who aren't plugged in to their customers, that's who. The bench seat was greasy, and our server let me stand there instead of asking if I needed something. When I stopped him to let him know, he did a couple other things for tables while I stood in the middle of the restaurant, then with zero eye contact, much less a smile, wiped it down hurriedly and left. I like Chili's been here many times & is for the most part pretty good until Sunday night 10/22 17. We got seated & the table was so wet when they seated us that the back of the menus were actually dripping water from where it had been wiped down I guess. We got it dried off & we dried the backs of our menus & ordered our meal. When she brought our food & started to set my granddaughters pasta down she immediately said "no no"......as she could see the long hair in it before it ever got set on the table.
