This place use to be good, the plates were served with good portion sizes. The chips were fresh and the salsa was chunky. Ordered the Old Timer a hamburger, the food was bland, the meat no seasoning what so ever. The fries didn't have salt either. Our server did not seem to care because she had already put in her two weeks notice. She removed our plates when we were not even finished eating which was rude. She didn't even ask if we needed a refill, a dessert or anything else at all. The quality of food has gone way down so has the service. I have posted on a couple of other websites, because our server Michael deserves a shout out for being literally a wonderful waiter. we normally sit in the dining room area, but the wait was too long so we decided to sit in the bar area. I'm glad we did. Michael approached us with a great attitude and smile, and just a friendly tone of voice. Our food came out hot and good. Michael made sure our drinks were refilled.. we did notice that Michael was treats every other person the way he treated us. we will always look for Michael. we asked him what days he works, we will only come in on those days. just a couple of things the music is too loud in the bar. it's cold in the bar. we were sitting in a high table against the window unfortunately, two gentlemen behind us they were talking bad about Michael and your staff. I saw a restaurant that put giant teddy bears on tables that were closed for social distancing purposes. I get extreme anxiety and I don't enjoy eating anywhere that looks like an atomic bomb landed.(tables piled up turned upside down caution tape everywhere etc.) That said this chilies has tape everywhere they even spray-painted the parking spots for takeouts! I'm not spending a dime unless I'm going to be comfortable eating ,there is just no reason for it. Get creative chilies! Went today for lunch, usually it's a good experience but things have changed. People behind us came in later and were served food first. My husband asked for no onions on his burger- it came full of onions. He asked for extra Thousand Island for the burger, the server said they ran out. People behind us asked for more Thousand Island and received more. Hard not to notice that we were being treated differently than the people behind us. The food was good when it finally came out. When she took our order she didn't bring us any plates napkins etc so when the food arrived we had nothing we tried to hunt her down but was nowhere to be found so we had no choice but to ask another server to bring us plates and etc. we both ordered there signature dish which is the fajitas. My bf ordered double steak and I ordered chicken shrimp and steak it wasn't even edible the cook overcooked the steak that was like chewing leather. We had to send all the food back and speak to a manager. When we told her our experience she looked confused like our complaint was not valid. We told her we didn't want any food because we were that disgusted I would think at that point the manager should have done way more than comp us the fajitas our entire meal should have been comped. Our server had an attitude and constantly asking for her to do her job. I have never in my years of dining and also being a former server I have always left at least some tip but with the lack of respect and her horrible attitude I left no tip. Also they always sing happy birthday and make people feel special and it was my bf birthday and we didn't get that kind of treatment so it's safe to say we will never be back. This place has definitely gone down hill.... I get you have limited staff but the least they can do is pay attention! You make a mistake on my order, I ask to make sure you are charging for the burger infront of me that I will happily eat, you offer to bring the correct one and pay for the one in front of me, keeping both....bill comes back with both charges, and refuse to take one off without taking possession of the second eaten burger.... One star is generous. We waited 20 minutes for our appetizer alone. My fiancé ordered a smokehouse combo and didn't even get a full sausage, the garlic bread was soggy and under cooked, the quesadilla's cheese was solidified and not melted but somehow burnt on the edges and tasted like frozen lunch from high school (not good). We got dirty silverware and a cup with what looks like old broccoli stuck to it. The side of the loaded mashed potatoes looked congealed as well as the skillet queso from the appetizer because it took so long to get to our table. The chips with the queso were somehow either soggy or stale but hardly crunchy. On the loaded mashed potatoes there was a random tomato like things were cross contaminated, the green onions were dry and seemed like they had been sitting to be sun dried outside for a few days. Let me start off by saying Jerry, a server, was so rude and had a big attitude. It was pretty funny to see a grown man act like a diva especially in front of so many people and at his work place. 08/02 9:40pm We were a party of 6. 4 adults and 2 kids. When our host tried sitting us in a smaller booth, we wouldn't have fit comfortably, we asked if it was possible to be seated in a bigger booth. The server, Princess Jerry, comes over and tells the host, "No, I'm not going to pick up another table, it's either this or nothing!" Our poor host just says okay and goes asks another server if we can be seated in his section which he agreed immediately. Our new server John has always been my favorite. He lighten up the mood and made us actually enjoy our visit. My advice to Jerry. You picked your job and even if it's been a long day, don't let other people's nasty attitudes or tempers affect YOUR mood. Went here for my god daughter's birthday celeb but the minute we walked in, the hostess already looks irritated that theres customers coming. There are 8 of us and there are a lot of chairs available for us but they told us that the area is closed and they want us to swat in seperate tables or seat in the area where we have to seat in a bar stools which i have to mention that we are with a 2 years old twins!!!
