Martin was our server and he was amazing. Made for a refreshing food stop in the middle of a long road trip. Very attentive, polite and accommodating. Food was served hot and in a reasonable time. read more

It was an okay experience. I would go back just because I love chilis. Our waiter was good and checked on us constantly! Thanks for a good visit! read more

It's gone super downhill. My experience here was awful and the place was very unkept and filthy. They made us sit at a table that was super dirty and did not even sweep the tissues from on top of and under the table. Big waster of 50$ and risk I took here. I'll never go here again. read more

Horrible curbside service. Order placed an hour in advance, arrived just to wait in the parking lot another hour. Payed online, people were showing up placing orders while they were in the parking lot and paying with a card and still getting order before us. Small order/easy order. 1- Appetizer 2- Chicken Crisper meals 1- Chips and salsa The excuse was they were making fresh chips and our food still wasn't ready. I guess that takes an hour. read more

Against my better judgement, I let my wife talk me into going to this place last night. We were told it was a 5 minute wait, then told 15 minutes. Finally after 45 minutes of looking at a restaurant full of empty dirty tables, the manager (by title only cause obviously he wasn't managing anything) told my wife that she didn't know how restaurants work. No apologies for the long wait. If you're thinking about going here, save yourself the trouble and pick up a couple of burritos from the corner store instead. You'll thank me later. read more

Great salad with very prompt and friendly service and the drinks were excellent with little to no wait time read more

Chili's - Caribbean Salad - American Near Me - Alice, Texas

I like to order the California avocado bacon chicken sandwich for lunch when I decide to eat at Chili's. I have eaten the sandwich at several different Chili's restaurants around Corpus, San Antonio,Portland,Houston and in the Valley. Started with the salad of which was very little (old lettuce) a lot of croutons. When the sandwich finally came very small and old lettuce a sliver of avocado and tomato. Chicken was small and dry. Will not be ordering it from this location. read more

The food is always good. The drinks are always good! Eric is the best server and bartender!!!

Other than going there for some drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere is just about it cause it's not really a place to go and eat. Drinks and more drinks and hanging out with your sidekicks for drinks. read more

Worst Chili's ever the worst service ever everything from this place is bad they don't take pride and I would never ever ever come back

Terrible customer service. Both gals behind the bar were more focused on taking care of 3 guests rather than the other 10 there. Fajitas were good. The bottom one third of the asparagrass was wilted and woodyard. Nothing like paying 4 dollars for 10 wilted woody asparagus. No bueno my friend. read more

I'm not sure why this location can't seem to provide good customer service. I order online and my food took an extra 30 minutes more than the 25-minute estimate I had been assigned. The food was cold and the steak was cooked wrong to top it off. read more

Tonight I took my kids in for dinner at about 7. We were sat promptly. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone noticed us. Got our drinks ordered appetizers. Once the appetizers came, we ate them up and waited another 20 minutes before we got or order even taken. My son got the big mouth bites, my sons girlfriend got a steak, my daughter got Cajun chicken pasta and I got the chicken crispers. We waited for 45 minutes for our food to come out! When it did, my sons big mouth bites were a regular burger cut into 4 pieces. The runner called it a kids burger! Red flag number 1. My sons girlfriend got her steak rare.. it was medium well almost to the point of being well done, red flag number 2. My daughters Cajun chicken pasta was so dry. The chicken looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 6 days red, red flag number 3! The waitress came over and said she spoke to her manager about the big mouth bites and the steak asked what we wanted to do. My sons girlfriend didn't want to eat it.....It was almost burnt! My son went ahead and hate his big mouth bites.( the burger that was literally cut into 4 triangles) she assured us the steak would get taken off. We waited and waited for the steak to get taken off the bill as it was not to her liking. She even tried to stomach it but it was just tough. 20 minutes I gave up on waiting for my refill and to take the steak off, I just went ahead and paid for it. This chilis has gone down so much in the last few years. It will be a while before I return or even if I do return. I'm utterly disappointed with how dinner went tonight and the money I paid for it. If I could give negative stars, I would. read more

There isn't a whole hell of a lot to choose from, so I popped in the one name I did recognize, Chilis. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted, super friendly service, and had a glass of wine. We ordered one of the Mexican bowls, nothing thrilling (Chipolte is better) and my brother had a turkey sandwich. I did notice it was quite the hopping place for oil field guys looking to come in and have drinks. Good happy hour with cheap food, nice TV for sports watching, and good service. read more

First the bad: tonight we had the worst service I've ever had. I won't name her name. She is young, I wanted to like her, but it was a nightmare. I am mad because my mother had had laser eye surgery. She had some pain. We came to Chili's as a treat. Our waitress needed to tell us though that she felt "tired". I used to work at Denny's. I didn't share my personal woes with patrons. There was another issue later, but I don't feel like getting into it. I love, though, the waitress Norma. She is mature, she is fast, efficient, generous, smart, complimentary, and could teach little missy a thing or TWO. Norma is the reason we'll go back. I've had her 3-4 times in the past. I won't name the bad server. I am not cruel. I just hope that once management sees this they make sure servers focus on the guests, and how tired we are (my mom had just had laser surgery on her eyes!) rather than herself. read more

Service/food was great & fast!!!

We ordered a dinner for 2 plus an extra appetizer. One of our appetizers was the Texas cheese fries. We ordered the extra chili and regretted it Because it tasted burned. I can't believe they served it to people like that. Secondly, one of our entrees was the half rack of ribs..... Since when is a half rack 4 RIBS? Seriously? I feel cheated. Last, why are all the bartenders that you employ such jerks? They don't even acknowledge you are there until they are ready no matter how busy they are. It really makes me not want to frequent your establishment. read more

Went to Chili's in Alice and as always it was a big disappointment. Had to wait for a table for two and wasn't busy. The server was rude and inattentive. Food was cold and not played well. Our server never checked on us after food was served and did not refill our drinks. I always have a bad experience at this Chili's and will not return. I have been to others in the area and have not experienced these same problems. read more

Normally Chilis is quite good and reputable, but over the years I believe we found the worst one on the planet in Alice. Took over one hour and fifteen minutes in a half full restaurant to get our food. Arrived cold and staff clearly lied when they continued to say it was coming out. No manager available. Floors dirty for early noon and restroom had clearly not been cleaned and rivaled most truck stops. read more

Ordered the bacon burger and was brought an uncooked burger. The fries tasted bitter as if the oil was burnt. They corrected the burger and it was good. They did not have the appetizer I wanted and I had to settle for the cheese sticks which were ok. I wanted the onion rings. A coworker was brought potato soup that was poorly made/served. Again, they were told about this and they did correct it. The waitress was impatient and bit rude. We waited too long for our food. A plus was we laughed together and environment was comfortable. Manager waiter was very nice. read more

Why I'm giving this two stars, I don't know. Edible fries maybe? When I walked the host/manager? Asked if I wanted to sit in the dining room or the lounge a.k.a. bar. We passed no less than three tables with dishes piled high on them and he had to wipe mine off with his hand to get the last crumb. After a while I eventually got to order my drink, The waitress brought me my drink and another set of silverware and walked off. Eventually she returned and asked along I would be waiting for the second person. I said it's just me. She said Oh I saw two menus. I said no that's your specialty menu. So I ordered a burger. Half an hour later, I asked. She went to kitchen and brought it out and started telling me something. I was like no. It's not busy. It's Chili's. It's a burger. When she brought me the tab, she said, yes you were here exactly 30 min. I said no. I was here longer. The order was put in that long ago. And this, my friends is why I avoid chains. BTW when I left, I counted at least three tables with dishes piled high. Nasty. read more

I have to say that i order more to go than eat in. So I tip according to the food and service of the previous visit. If the service AND food are good I will tip 15% and it goes up according to how attentive the staff is and how well the meal is prepared. I do not tip less than 15% unless it is to tip nothing. I have been known to tip up to 50%. That being said; i placed an order yesterday and it was terrible. Strawberry Lemonade - taste was good. But now they are med instead of the usual large size. Did not like that. Caesar Salad - if you can call a cup of lettuce a Caesar Salad. And i mean all i got was the lettuce and dressing. Classic Sirloin* - 6oz -it was medium rare ! Medium Well - It was not! Corn On The Cob - excellent Loaded Mashed Potatoes - excellent. I asked for them to Include silverware with my order (fork, knife, spoon and napkins). - They did not. But at least i did get a straw this time. Next time I order online there will definitely be no tip! When i picked up my meal yesterday i did not leave a tip as my last visit was less than mediocre. I was going to add a photo of the steak but it was disgusting! read more

I ordered the new pork carnitas tacos with black beans and cilantro lime rice and I was so impressed! Best meal I have had in Alice in a long time. Service was good too. read more

On-line menu for Chili's in Alice, TX, shows New England clam chowder by the cup or bowl. This place doesn't have it and never did per the waitress. She did check when I showed her the entry. The reply was "only some restaurants" and I was informed that this was, indeed, the only Alice restaurant. So much for accuracy on Yelp. Service was slow. The music is much too loud for comfortable conversation. The place was not busy, either. Burgers were well prepared and tasty. We both liked the fries. The waitress was friendly. Two stars is because we really liked the burgers and fries. As for the rest.....every time the ladies sitting behind me in the next booth moved a bit, my seat bounced. Not really comforting. read more

I've been here 3 time and each time I had one of the worst chilis experience in my life. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the food but the service was horrible every time. Not only would my waiter ignore me but other waiter/waitresses also did. This location wasn't even busy... Not even close. When they did get to me I needed minor things like a straw, nothing too demanding, and the guy would give me attitude about it, then disappear for another 20 min read more

Only decent chain restaurant in this small town. Wait time is horrid on the weekends.

Atmosphere and service was fine. You could tell the place was very clean and kept up. When I ordered their French fries, though, some of them were cold on the inside. But that was the only negativity. The other food that I ordered was excellent. read more

I like it but.... I don't. 90% of the time something is wrong with the order. When you order online, it estimates 30 minutes to wait but sometimes you wait an hour or more!! It just wasn't that good. I've had better at other chili's. First the water they served tasted like dirt. Maybe that's how the water taste here but there's no reason they couldn't filter it. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were ok, nice portion but you get no guacamole, sour cream, or cheese with it. I've never seen any restaurant serve fajitas with out cheese, pico, sour cream and guacamole. The flour tortillas came in tin foil as normal but instead of them being rolled up, the person that put them together stacked four tortillas and folded them up like a dish towel. Because they were old they broke off in pieces. I tried two eat two and gave up. I would never eat at this location again. read more

The service was poor. The wait for food was long. Some items were cold and others were overcooked to the point of difficult to chew. The portions of several items were jokingly small. I only wish yelp would offer a 0 star. The service here is awful here in Alice Texas & I didn't even get a chance to order. Staying in Alice for a few days on business with 22 colleagues @ Hospital. I first tried to order by phone, after waiting 10 mins on phone I hanged up & went to location to order 22 meals. When I got to the carry out area to order, no one assisted me for at least 10 mins. I had to stop one of the workers & told her I wanted to place an order. She told me she was busy. I finally left after 15 minutes. I would say chills lost out close to $1k. read more
