I ordered the biriyani chicken dum (bone in-chicken biriyani) and it was delicious! The chicken was so tender that it fell off the bones. I asked them for "medium" spicy and it was a good amount of spice for me. You can feel the kick, yet not need a full cup of water to save yourself from your last bite. I did not order their chai tea, but it seems like it is very popular here! I saw many groups of men come in and order the chai just to sit on the patio! They even ran out at one point! For one, it seems like staff turnover is a concern here, as I often see new staff up front who are unfamiliar with their own menu or promotions while the food gives me an idea of what's going in the back. Which is to say, nothing has ever been consistently good here and there's been many occasions of food that's poorly seasoned, undercooked or simply spoiled. I know they have the ability to do better but is it worth the suffering for the opportunity? My answer is NO. For the markedly above average cost and inconsistent leaning poor quality, this isn't the local institution I would personally advise you to support.
