Over the weekend and into early this week a tooth she was having trouble with became very painful. Our current dentist, could not do anything until mid December. I researched emergency dental care and found Raynor. Patty answered the phone and was so pleasant and helpful. Patty conferred with one of the dentists, Dr. Leora Hilbert, and they were able to get my wife in later that day. Amazing! We arrived in early afternoon and met Jill who kept me informed of what was happening while my wife went with one of the hygienists to prepare for the extraction. While not pleasant, the extraction went well and my wife was thrilled with Dr. Leora and her wonderful personality & easy going nature as well as the hygienists. All in all we are very impressed with Raynor so much so we are moving both our dental care to Raynor. Our thanks to everyone at Raynor who played a part in getting my wife's issue resolved so quickly and in such a friendly and compassionate manner!

Then cause drama so you can't reschedule an appointment for over a year for the other child....Terrible service. Then tell you to get a new dentist when you ask why you couldn't be in the room with your child. Unprofessional and disrespectful. They also don't tell you you're seeing any of three different dentists and don't get the same dentist every time. And add that I was THREE minutes late and they mentioned it about FIVE TIMES after calling and they told me "oh it's fine it happens" clearly not since they had to keep mentioning it.... Edit to this review they will drop you as a patient if you they mess up your schedule. Or bring your complaints forward. I was told by bring up a concern about the schedule they messed up "if we don't give you the warm and fuzzies go elsewhere" as she THREW a transfer paper at me. For simply bringing up a question ! Never in my LIFE have I EVER experienced such insanity. I was told "being a dentist is hard enough I don't need to deal with this" because I asked a question.....It's be happy or be dropped as a patient. I wish I could insert the voicemail Virginia left me. Very mean. I have a long list of nasty things they said to me and put words in my mouth. Oh and they will talk over you if you try to speak and won't hear you out at all. Was told I would receive a phone call from the dentist himself after all this @4pm. I waited hours no call. He called me at 8 at night. Truly a waste of time and unprofessional establishment. You are better off going anywhere else if you have children! I've never left a bad review anywhere but I felt that this was the ONLY voice I was given in this situation. Such a shame.

Over 8 years later, I am finally writing a review. Please understand that I am not the kind of…read moreperson to bash others in reviews over small meaningless offenses. In fact, this is the only negative review I have ever made online, but I feel like my experience matters and I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I did. I am also one of the many patients who saw Dr Sal due to him being the only orthodontist around who accepted Medicaid. As a young 15-year old girl who was very insecure about her smile, I was so excited to have this opportunity to get braces. However, the excitement eventually turned into tears and I would leave over 50% of my orthodontic appointments crying in my car in the parking lot out of pure hurt and frustration. Dr. Sals techs were rough and rude, they worked on my teeth like they were under the hood of a car and not in the mouth of a human being. I did not receive adequate individualized attention from Dr. Sal and he would interrupt me when I politely expressed my concerns. He even walked away mid-sentence a couple times as he was in a super rush to see the other 3 patients that were all lined up in the chairs (in the same room). He made me and my mother feel insignificant, emasculated and unimportant. I am an overachiever and a perfectionist. I took very good care of my teeth and I did everything that Dr. Sal asked me to. He said I would have braces for about 2 years and after 4 years of braces my teeth were in worse condition than when I started. I began with a small overbite and some crowding of teeth, and near the end of the 4 years (although my teeth got straighter) my bite had gotten so bad that my top molars and second bicuspids would not even touch the bottom ones which made chewing food very uncomfortable. At this point I was 19 years old and engaged to be married in a couple months. I knew I needed a second opinion so I went to another orthodontist for a consult. What a breath of fresh air to speak with someone who showed so much care for me! This new orthodontist said that I needed one or 2 teeth pulled on the bottom and that if I were to switch to him it would probably take about 18 months to correct my bite. (When I had suggested getting a tooth pulled from my bottom teeth to Dr. Sal he said, "You should never ever pull a tooth unless it is absolutely necessary!" In my case it was necessary but he refused.) We didn't have the money at the time to make the switch to this new orthodontist, but I knew I couldn't see Dr. Sal anymore. He had taken a small overbite with a couple crooked teeth and turned my cosmetic issues into medical issues. So I had Dr. Sal remove my braces and I left his practice. Now 8 years later (26 years old) I finally have the money to correct the damage that was done during (and after) my time at Dr. Fred Salvatoriellos office. My teeth have moved into a cross-bite (in an attempt to allow my molars to touch when biting) and I am experiencing jaw pain, but I am now seeing the same orthodontist that I went to for a second opinion when I was 19 years old and I couldn't be happier with his expertise and kindness.

It's worth it to have an honest and ethical dentist. He was correct as to the problem with tooth #5 as to do the right exploration to determine it was a hopeless vertical crack whereas Lang's suggested root canal. Sure enough it was exactly what Dr. Brown said; a hopeless crack because when the oral surgeon removed it, it came out in 2 vertical segments. Erin Deedy: I had a spontaneous gum inflammation to tooth #15 that just came out of nowhere as in the same day it was fine, later that day the area inflamed. Dr. Deedy took me in at the last minute and was on target with what it was; inflammation coming from the deep periodontal pockets and she did an isolated cleaning and flushing to that tooth which was exactly what I wanted. I am very grateful for her good timing and also 'hearing me out' as to what I suspected it could most likely be. The whole staff is always very patient with me too.
