My wife is a great navigator and got on Yelp to find us a place that wasn't fast food. I would say this is a dive bar, known to the locals, so we would not have found it, if not for the listing. Friendly service and the food was quite good. My wife enjoyed chicken and waffles and I had a breakfast sandwich with hash browns.

Thank you to the great server that took the order, listened and learned about celiac issues, and went over the specific precautions to keep my wife safe. The decor was all wood like a forest puked all over the place with stuffed creatures on the walls. It had a bar next to the front dining room and a dining room in back. For some reason this restaurant was was a smoking restaurant with a woman smoking at the next table while she ate her food, yuck. The menu isn't huge but it had a pork cutlet sandwich and I reminisced on the great IA ones so I ordered that. The pork cutlet looked unimpressive because it was on toasted white bread with lettuce, tomato and onion. It was a frozen thing that was just ok and I wished I ordered a cheeseburger instead. The young woman, grand daughter of the owner was not on the ball because the service was lacking. After we were done with our food she completely forgot about us and played on her phone behind the bar so after 10 minutes of waiting/watching I went to the bar and asked for the check.
