With the exception of one know it all Medical assistant whom interjected personal opinion without researching of what the Dr. and I had discussed and modified, and her condescending manner and inability to correctly site the modifications of medications as doctor had ordered for her to alert the pharmacy, taking a full week to "get it right after arguing with me and dictating warnings uncalled for on medication abuse, I found the balance of the staff extraordinary and meta helpful.
If I have one critics opinion of the negative, other than the aforementioned, it is the mindless and humiliating insistence of taking a pee sample upon arrival with no explanation provided, however, it must have been for a drug screen which shows mistrust, and brands one with no abuse record or criminal history as a suspect-I strongly resented this.
Now on a very positive note: A member of a former clinic had suggested I see Dr. Kareem. I am delighted I followed her advice. I found River bend deplorable and made the switch. I am sure many have.
I have extensive medical records including M.R.I. imagery of my condition, X-rays, and letters from surgeons. In short, I had a stack of information that was very specific in regard to my poor health and chronic pain.
Upon our prearranged meeting, I then saw Dr. Kareem. I was astonished that she had read all the data, the particulars, and had a full command of all the data. Never have I experienced this with a doctor. She showed in depth understanding of each of my conditions, and she took action. I found Dr. Kareem very accommodating and through as she took her time with me, that is all the time that was reasonably needed to address my in depth issues. We discussed the causation of my pathology, the best course of action, and modifications of medication's to address my pain issues. And most of all, when I had concerns, and went to the portal system to contact her, she answered me personally in reply to my questions. At River bend, besides being treated like a junkie, when you used their portal, a medical assistant would reply using her limited knowledge to address my concerns when I had written to the doctor!
In closing, allow me to say, I do think I am qualified to judge. I have a Masters degree in psychology, training on the B.S.N. R.N. level , and hold a degree in Life Sciences .
I strongly recommend this clinic, and in particular Dr. Kareem. And I found her pleasant, attentive, extremely bright, and concerned. read more
