Just trust your GPS as it takes you right there without any drama. Parking is plentiful with a row adjacent to the building as well as another row across a traffic lane. There was a handicapped space right in front of the entrance door. There is one step up to a sidewalk that runs the length of the building. I did not see a ramp but that is not the fault of the restaurant. Walking in there are several tables with seating for about 40. The ordering counter is in the rear. There is a relatively easy to follow and read menu above the counter. We were greeted as we came in and the workers were both friendly and helpful in making and assembling our selections. The gyros wrap was filled with a good amount of meat along with veggies and your choice of tzatziki or ranch sauce (get the tzatziki). The chosen side was a diced cucumber salad with an oil and vinegar dressing. I knew I was making the right choices as the person assembling the meal was very encouraging. The gyros pita was just as complete as the wrap and fries were selected as the side. The gyros meat was cooked perfectly and not dry at all. It was very flavorful and there was plenty in the wrap. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the tzatziki sauce was the perfect addition. The diced cucumber salad was crisp and flavorful, especially with the oil and vinegar dressing. The pita was as good as the wrap and the fries were cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and softer inside. They also had seasoning with made them flavorful without any condiments. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend stopping in. We will certainly add this to our meal stop any time we are in the area.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by one of the sweetest hosts, who made us feel genuinely welcome. We had made a reservation, and our table was ready immediately, making for a smooth and stress-free start to our meal. I would highly recommend making a reservation at least a day in advance--two days if you're visiting on a weekend or during peak travel times. It was clear this place is popular, and for good reason. Our server, Cody, truly made the experience unforgettable. Hands down, he is the best server I've ever had anywhere. He took the time to thoroughly walk us through the menu, explain the daily specials, answer all of our questions, and offer recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality elevated our entire dining experience. We ordered the pancakes, omelets, and of course, the famous biscuits. The biscuits absolutely deserve the hype! They were warm, buttery, fluffy, and practically melted in your mouth. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious, and the omelets were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. One thing I really appreciated is that while Loveless Cafe offers a supper menu in the evenings, breakfast is served all day. That's perfect for anyone like me who believes breakfast tastes good no matter what time it is! It's easy to see why Loveless Cafe has become such a Nashville staple. Between the warm Southern hospitality, outstanding service, and incredible food, this was an experience we'll be talking about long after breakfast. If you're visiting Nashville, or even if you're a local who hasn't been yet, put Loveless Cafe at the top of your list. And if you're lucky enough to have Cody as your server, you're in for an exceptional experience!

Even sampling some of their famous country ham from Toby's plate was a memorable experience. I only wish I had a bigger stomach because the portions are just so massive here. The server couldn't have been nicer. He was even the one to suggest to us that he preferred the pork chops over the ham. That was such a good choice to me. Sadly, we didn't have coffee this morning because we had a long scenic drive and didn't want to make any more stops than necessary. But I bet he would've been right on the ball with those refills. The ambiance was great. It was such a nice layout and had interesting decor that made you feel you were a guest at their house. It also had that perfect occupancy where you could tell how popular they were but not so crowded you had to wait for a table. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in Tennessee because this place is a great find.

The take out ordering system is efficient if you want to avoid the occasional line for dine-in (think about popular times for bach parties). The rewards program for take out is decent. A parking lot is available for customers. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating, mainly picnic table style. You'll order at the counter and bring your table number to your seat. Paper towels are at every table. Beverages are abundant: typical soda fountain, lemonade, slushies (spiked even!), local beer (including draft), cocktails, and more. The salad is a new addition to the menu in the last year that is fresh, filling, and tasty. The cornbread croutons are insane! I love when salads have extra protein sources like beans and chicken. It's a great place to go to for lunch, always leaving a tingle in the back of your throat long after you've eaten. It comes fresh and fried. It's easy to hold and they season it perfectly. They have six levels of spice, chicken wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches, grilled or fried. This leaves thirty six options to choose from! Now let's go on to the levels of spice, and which one is optimal for each. Southern, no spice. Not only are you a coward if you get this, but it's HORRIBLE! It takes away all the flavor and leaves it to be as plain as Cane's without the sauce! I urge you to avoid this flavor, especially for your first try. It will leave a bad impression on the restaurant. Mild, self-explanatory. A great flavor, for those who can't handle spice yet don't want the horrid blandness of Southern, I recommend for anyone who thinks medium is too hot. Your face may redden a bit, and cause sweat to roll down your cheeks, but it's worth it, as you leave your belly full of spice. Medium, the best flavor. It's perfect. Mild is mama bear, Hot is papa bear, and medium is juuuuust right for these people. The optimal flavor for the wings, tenders, and sandwiches. I guarantee if you have this, you will come back. I recommend this for first timers and every time. Hot, for the extreme. These are the people who like to go above and beyond, They're pure red, not a hint of the brown that made it mild and southern. Very good! Damn Hot. We're one foot on the line of being too spicy to handle and/or taste good, with the other still in the "normal" territory. I think if you have enough comeback sauce with it it's really good. I've been eating this recently to prepare myself for a sandwich level: Shut.The. Cluck. Up. Be careful. It's dangerous. Proceed with caution. This flavor is a safety hazard. If you have the sandwich here, you may have to be rushed into the hospital. I recommend you try it with a milkshake in hand, tenders in front, and to not touch your face. It's so hot it doesn't even taste good! You must try it. Because you won't know spice until you have it. Then you can brag and brag and brag to all your friends who haven't had it, and truly appreciate the milder flavors. If you know anyone who eats this regularly, stay away from them, they are a madman. Now let's talk about the sauce. This is the greatest sauce I've ever had! Comeback sauce, the sandwiches can't be eaten without it! Great to dip fries, tenders, or wings into. Everything will feel lackluster without it once you've tried it. It's not incredible, it's beyond that. It's a collection of the greatest flavors spread across the universe, no, multiverse. If aliens were to come to Earth, it wouldn't be for cows, it would be for chicken and comeback sauce! I've never had anything like it. Now we have the fries. Crinkle cut. "Dirty Bird Fries." Perfect name. Just, wow. The collection of spices are so grand, magnificent each in their own way. Sometimes they do get too many spices on them, and those specific fries are miserable. Get this over coleslaw or beans. For sure. The service. With 5 people food will come out in 30 minutes. Everyone is happy to be there. Customers and staff. You can sit inside with AC, a patio with fans, or outside with umbrellas, or maybe not, just the mood. Now, this is important, listen closely. They sell their spices! You can go in, grab spice that will last longer than a year for ten bucks. You can get it for each of the flavors (except for damn hot, I don't know why). If you want to make them without heat and with heat, no problem. If you want to have a harmless joke and put "Shut the Cluck up" in a friend's wings, feel free to do so. They'll certainly liven up the mood. It obviously won't be as good as if you sit down, but it'll still be great. In conclusion, go to Hattie B's, the best restaurant in Nashville.

Lots of tasty offerings on their menu and the smell makes your mouth water! Had the 1/4 chicken La Brasa with broccoli and red roasted pepper hummus. It comes with pita triangles, which I passed off. The la brasa marinade was on point and rivals any good Peruvian restaurant. Very flavorful with a good spice kick. The broccoli was al dente and flavorful with a hint of butter and garlic. Not to be outdone, the fresh roasted pepper hummus was amazing!! Dipping celery in this hummus would elevate your experience to 5-star! My companion chose the Jerk chicken marinade and was slightly disappointed that there wasn't enough of a spice kick, but the flavor was tasty on the palate. The mac n cheese he had wasn't stellar, but was solid. Cole slaw he found quite tasty! Buffalo wings he added on was satisfying for him, as was the potato salad. All in all, this place is well-worth visiting repeatedly!! Prices for all this delicious fresh cooked food are very reasonable - 1/4 chicken plate with 2 standard sides is $9.99! The quality is definitely there, and the team obviously cares about what they make! We will be back!! I want to try the tandoori next time!!

Stopping here for supper, first there were the dark bathrooms that wouldn't light. Along with that electrical issue, an ear-splitting and head jarring smoke or other alarm went off every few minutes for about 15 minutes. Order taking was interrupted often when the counter employee shifted to incoming phone calls. That employee didn't know pulled chicken portion sizes in ounces and approximated with his hands. All of this created a dubious dining experience before we even finished ordering! This spot offers a variety of chicken recipes: roasted, BBQ, Caribbean, pulled, fried, and more. Sides includes Southern standards like mac and cheese, yellow rice, greens, coleslaw, and others. The pulled (shredded) chicken was overly seasoned with black pepper. Roasted chicken was a bit dry. The BBQ chicken laden with sweet sauce was the best of the chicken choices. Creamy coleslaw was 'meh' and lacked flavor. Rice, too, was just okay. Northern beans were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Pita triangles seemed an odd accompaniment since no sauce or dip was provided and they were too small to make sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant seemed understaffed, which could account for the messy tables and dirty floor.

We figured we'd have the opportunity to grab some of them or well-known spots, so we wanted to try to find one of the originals. This place fit the bill! I have no idea which direction it was from the airport, probably south, but anyways, it was a relatively quick drive and was basically located in a corner strip mall with a very nice storefront. Upon entering, we were greeted by the smells of some absolutely next level chicken. I would imagine that living in Nashville, coming upon such sites and smells is common, but coming from the Pacific Northwest, where we have found one or two good chicken places, I was pretty stoked! Very southern decor with some great murals on the wall and just a great overall vibe. The chicken is obviously what you're coming for here. I got just a standard chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely wonderful! Flavorful, juicy chicken that didn't require some sort of sauce. The available sauces were, however very nice. Our group had an array of tenders, sandwiches (mild and burn on the way out spicy) and lots of side! The cornbread was solid, the Mac and cheese was good, the collard greens were delicious, and the fries were fries! As an aside, I will say that I have become very used to having to put things on chicken in the Northwest as the breading is never very flavorful. In the south, we came to realize that fried chicken shouldn't need any dressing up. Thank you for that lesson! The woman who gave us the recommendation to come here should be commended. This wasn't lunch, it was a journey to find the best and we found it!
