I put some of their sweet bbq sauce over the meat, perfection. I initially got this, plus an order of their fries, for my 94.5 y.o. grandmother, for her lunch... will alo be her dinner, most likely, and possibly her lunch tomorrow. lol (she's not a big eater, but she did tie into it, and left not a crumb (but I did need to trim the 'skin' off of the pickles, but I have to do it at McDonalds & BK & Wendy's too. So her, not the pickles which were great. In getting hers ready for her to eat, I did try a little bit of meat that fellou when I cut her sandwich in 1/2, so then I popped a French fry in my mouth as I put her 'extras' away for her supper. I decided I'd go grab the same meal once I got hungry. Now that I finished it... I might want it for dinner & lunch tomorrow too....

How crazy!!!! Who in the world puts pulled pork on a bagel. They should call it a pulled pork bagel not a pulled pork sandwich. I called and complained and the guy told me that if the sandwich is to-go they put it on a bagel. City Barbecue doesn't do that. Thank goodness. I told him they should tell people that it's going to be on a bagel when they order it to go. Then, they can request a bun. Anyway, I wasn't impressed with the place or the food.

They also mix the onions and cilantro together in a cup for you to put on the tacos. My cup had lots of onions and very little cilantro. When I asked for more cilantro they told me that it was pre-mixed. Very disappointing. They did have two outside tables for seating which was a plus. Who doesn't love the ghetto ambiance of dining? Probably not a place that I will frequent very often. Overall food was a 3 out of 5. They were super busy so they must be doing something right, just not with the Quesabirria tacos for me.

It's been three tries in a row now and it has SUCKED each of these tries. The first try - something just tasted "off." It was hard to describe. I ordered the supreme nachos and it it had the cream sauce I didn't ask for and it just tasted bad. They also didn't include the chips and cheese dip that I ordered. But like, I said, I was a faithful customer so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second try, it tasted SOUR. Like something was spoiled. Unedible. Today, I tried again. I ordered Rice, beans, sour cream, and guac. It literally looks like they THREW the beans on there and the cheese. There's no rice, and barely any sour cream. Cheapskating on the ingredients and not even including any. Don't order from here.

The chicken was very well seasoned, but it was dry, tough and too thick. The bread is way too dense also. My suggestions would be to toast the bread a little to warm it up and to loosen it up a bit, cut the chicken thinner, cook it for less time or marinate it so it isn't so dry. It also wouldn't hurt to add a little more slaw and/or sauce to bring moisture back into the sandwich. Navin's customer service is top notch!
