    Fire roasted chicken.

Fire roasted chicken makes the most wonderful aroma in this little place. I had the 3 tacos with rice, refried beans, grilled onions, and a medium drink for $12.99. Very pleasant staff. Clean restaurant. Place orders at the counter then sit at any table. There is a small salsa / condiment bar with tasty toppings. They have cake and flan pre-packaged in individual servings. There is also a small selection of bottled or canned beers. The corn tortillas were filled to the brim with chicken. Each taco had two soft corn tortillas which I separated to accommodate all the chicken. Chicken was a little dry. Refried beans might have been canned. They didn't have a homemade flavor. Rice was also a little dry with not much flavor. The salsas added quite a bit. My meal was as filling as any fast food restaurant. In fact I didn't finish everything. Mainly because I was full. The menu has a good variety to choose from. They also serve breakfast.

Salsa bar. Creamy jalepeño sauce. Pico de Gallo. Sautéed onions. Whole beans, charro beans. Need I say more?? Ok, the rotisserie chicken is flavorful and juicy. The Asada nachos were cheesy and wonderful, extra thick chips that don't get soggy quickly when adding the huge assortment of salsas!! 1/2 chicken came with beans and rice and tortillas, we added an order of asada nachos, one horchata & one Mexican Coke for $32. Enough left to take home leftovers. Minimum plate price is 11.99 which seems high hut hey it's 2024, and $32 for two is actually a bargain these days! They have other meat choices too, not just chicken. Oh yeah, chicken soup, and Menudo!! The hirchata was rhe best Ive had, def not feom a powdered mix, also aguas/jugos, Jarritos, flan, gelatos & churros! The whole bean soup and creamy jap sauce is enough to keep me coming back!!

Various salsas from salsa bar! All good flavor and spicy

This is a Mexican rotisserie chicken place! They serve a variety of other items as well! The chicken in my opinion was juicy and well seasoned and cooked to perfection! My family was the very first in line for the opening day of this restaurant and although they had a few bumps with us being the first in the drive thru they handled it very well! And we have been back a few times and they are smoothing out the kinks The chicken was moist and quite tasty and the star of the show! The burrito however was mostly rice and a little bit of beans and not enough meat for to justify the price! Although I did finish the plate and the salad! Would have preferred less rice or even none at all! Would I get it again? Maybe with no rice! The tacos were 5 street tacos to the order and came with charro beans and rice! I opted for a mix of chicken and Al pastor tacos! Everything was one point and very tasty! Definitely be back for the chicken and those tacos! The salsa bar is well stocked and had the red (hot) salsa and the green verde (little less hotter) with also was good! The pico de gallo was also well made and tasted good as well! They also had some pickled onions on the bar which were also very good tasting with just a small pop of the vinegar! With them opening a few days ago they still are very busy and you have to be patient with them as they can only cook so much chicken at a time. We ended up waiting awhile tonight but it was so worth the wait! So go check them out I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed

Carne Asada, look closely at the picture. It's 50/50 beef and fat. That is disgusting. Also chicken doesn't have any flavor to it, very bland.

When I order carne asada tacos I expect carne asada not puros cueros "fat"! Mistakes were made stick with the chicken!

Came here as a quick stop. But it was the wrong choice. I order on the drive-through and the only thing I saw wrong was that I ask for 2 large drinks and 2 medium and the girl ask me what flavor. When I got to the window I got my ticket and everything on it was wrong (except for the ribs and chilaquiles) . I seen the girl in the window bring out 2 topochicos and when I seen them I said nicely that I didn't order them. She laugh and close the window and went to get the drinks . Then I notice she only put one burrito and ask her if she had added 2 and she got in her register and added the second burrito and told me "yes , I did" . Mind you, I wasn't saying anything bad. I just wanted to get my food and leave. That's considering us not saying anything about the drinks because she charge 2 topochicos for 6.50 each and we were just getting 2large drinks. Then the cook came and gave us our food and was explaining that he put the beans on the side. I was confused because I specifically said 2 burritos with just beans and said it again at the window to the girl. He said "I was listening and it sounded like you said asada" . First of all how is 2 bean burritos with just beans nothing else sound like 2 asada burritos with beans on the side. It make no sense. Still didn't say anything till they came back and gave us our food and he told me that it was my fault because I was the one that said asada burritos . It made me more mad when my partner ask if there was going to be any price difference sense THEY got our order wrong and he said "no, because is not normal that they ask for a bean burrito with just beans, and she was the one who said it". That's when I told him "that's not my fault. She was the one who doesn't know how to do her job." Our total was 62.75 so you best believe I need to make sure my order ir wright . Specially if I have two kids who are hungry . I don't like leaving bad reviews to anyone but when people are this pathetic, then I will. I have work at restaurant before and when a clients would get there order wrong we double check and make sure is okay before we would re do it or check price difference.

The pozole is so awesome. I go for a bowl and then take one home with me! The chips and salsa are great too. Super spicy but very addictive.

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. I got the Flautitas appetizer plate which came with a good amount, and my husband got the Clara's Platter appetizer plate. Everyone else got chicken tacos, huevos rancheros, and enchilada plates. The salsa served with the chips was bad. It's tomato sauce with tobasco sauce or something. Chips were nice and crunchy! Apparently the margaritas were good. Overall they have great customer service but the food isn't something I'd want to eat again unless it was our last resort.

We wanted to try the table side guacamole, but when we watched it being made for a table by us, we realized that we could in no way finish or make a dent in how big it was. It looked really good though. We ordered the white queso. It had great flavor and was perfect for the 3 of us. I got the enchilada plate that came with 2 cheese enchiladas, a crispy taco, salad, refried beans, and rice. Everything was very good and it was way too much food. My wife got the 3 verde chicken enchiladas with double refried beans and our son got the chicken chimmey with refried beans and rice. They both loved their plates as well. Also on a side note, the hot sauce didn't have a ton of cilantro in it which is a huge plus for me as I hate cilantro. We had a huge take home plate and got out of there for 80$ with alcohol drinks. Then multiple orders at our table were incorrect and the kids meal chicken fajita taco came with only chicken and nothing else. Again, we've been here before, so we know what the taco typically looks like. The waiter apologized, brought a small bowl of cheese so we could top it ourselves. The atmosphere is really chill and we even have a favorite booth. However, over the past few months, we have noticed a drastic downward trend of both food quality, and availability of menu items. I'm not sure what the issue is, but it has not been an isolated event. They have consistently not had flour tortillas, chicken, steak, or even french fries. Over half of their menu is consistently absent and the food they do have, has been poorly prepared and of cheap quality. I've loved going to the Cantina and do not post this with any feeling of satisfaction. I have not rushed to my keyboard at the first sign of something displeasing. I'm only posting this because I hope the problems can be fixed and the Cantina returns to what everyone has come to expect: great food, great servers, great prices, and a great atmosphere.
