Food was good and customer service Was great. It was a Little heard to hear the young lady behind the counter as she talked softly and music was loud but it wall all in all Clean and reasonable price.

I first have to say that it's obvious the team is working hard to push out orders. With only three people in the kitchen and handling orders, they were in a constant rotation of cooking, serving and appeasing customers. So much so, that we were delayed 5 minutes for them to finish cooking and serving before we could even order. The menu is no where near where you order, so memorize your order. It's also a little confusing that there's an upper and lower menu; one is above at normal eye level and one is below waist level. Because we didn't properly scan for all menus, we had no idea there were burritos, smothered fries and other goodies we would have preferred. The location is sparsely designed with a motorcycle theme, yet feels too open. They were blasting classic rock tunes (which they mute for phone orders) on a little boom box, which brings another "element" to the dining experience. I ordered the regular plate with birria de pollo, refried beans with chorizo and chipotle, and fries. The menu states that you get a piece of bread too, but it was not explained until I asked for the bread, that you only get bread if you order a side of pasta. Food came out very quickly. The birria was heaped on a plate, blanketed with freshly chopped onions with cilantro and 2 limes with 4 hot corn tortillas wrapped in foil. I strongly suggest grabbing their pico de gallo and medium red salsa from the condiment bar - both were incredibly flavorful, fresh and obviously homemade. The tortillas were steamy hot, which I appreciated. The birria chicken was a lot drier than I had hoped, though the birria sauce luckily added moisture. There wasn't a lot of birria flavor though. The refried beans were smooth and satisfying, but I didn't pick up any chorizo or chipotle flavors, which left me brokenhearted. Fries were great, though some were unseasoned and not as crispy as I would have liked. We came with two other friends who complained about dry chicken and lukewarm food. The only compliment from the table is that the flautas were good. No one wants to go back but I wouldn't mind trying again as the burrito and birria fries looked scrumptious whilst being walked to another table. I think they need more time to figure out pacing, temperature settings for precooked items and a way to keep that rotisserie chicken moist. I really wanted to love this place.

2-piece chicken meal with poblano alfredo and red rice (Cole slaw and veggies are free) + regular size drink = $17.49

I'm not satisfied with Chicken Out, but I'm not dissatisfied. I felt the food was pretty mid for what I paid. When you first walk in, you're immediately in front of a large menu that is incomplete and doesn't have all of the prices. When I asked if they had a full menu I could look at, I was told to look up the restaurant and find their full menu on Facebook. You'll see more menu items but still without prices. Since I was the only person here at 12:30 on a Thursday afternoon, I didn't have to wait long for my food. The chicken was a leg and thigh that were tender but lacking any substantial taste. The poblano alfredo was bland and the red rice was dry. Even the free Cole slaw at the salsa stand lacked any taste. As far as ambiance, it's a large dining room with nice decorations, but nothing that really stood out to me. I'm willing to give this place one more shot to try the taco salad one reviewer raved about.

I recently went here with my brother and I was completely amazed with the experience. I've been trying birria all around town and this is by far the absolute best I've ever had! I had the birria quesadilla. First off it was giant! Loaded with meat and cheese and the most delicious flavor. For the low the price you get a huge portion. I could only finish half! I'd say you get twice the amount of food then you would get at another restaurant for the same price. The staff was very friendly and helpful for any questions I had about the menu. So in summary, huge portions, great prices, nice atmosphere and the best Beria I've ever had! I've already been back a couple more times and it's my new favorite restaurant. Can't wait to try more in the menu. Definitely go check it out! And thank you Beto for being so friendly. You are an incredible chef!

Food was super dry ! waited all week so i could come in on "Taco Tuesday " for a deal that i saw them promoting on facebook, only for them to say the price they said wasn't true and i had to pay 20$ for 6 tacos. chicken ended up being super dry and hard to where my jaw hurt chewing. on top of that a bone was in my taco. i wont be returning.

This place is great! I originally thought it was another hot chicken joint, but it's a great Mexican food place. We loved the food and will definitely be back!

Service was not good. Not enough protein like the pictures and super greasy. The best item was fries.

Stopped into Cracker Barrel for a late dinner. It was about 8 p.m. when we arrived. Pretty empty…read moresince it was so late for your typical dinner hours. We did breeze through the gift shop as we made our way to the hostess stand. As much as we wanted to look at everything, we knew we were on a time crunch. At the hostess stand, I did see a few servers still working and about 2 tables of guests. A larger table that was wrapping up and another party of 3. We waited for quite a while for someone to get us sat. I know the gal at the register in the gift shop had told someone over the headset that we needed to be helped. After what seemed like an abnormal wait time for someone to greet us, we finally got taken care of. We breezed through the menu while the gentleman that was taking care of us tonight grabbed our drinks. We knew that we didn't want to stay too late so we ordered dinner as soon as our drinks were dropped off. We got the hamburger steak, chicken fried steak and fried fish for dinner. My husband polished off his plate. He had his favorites for dinner. Fried fish, corn with mac and cheese. My hamburger steak was good. It was well done which is how I like it! The brocolli was steamed nicely. I didn't know what the carrots were supposed to taste like. They honestly tasted like soggy, watered down carrots that have a hint of sweetness to it. I was expecting more of a glazed, sweet carrot. I'll just know next time not to order them. But the best part of the meal were the biscuits! They were warm, soft and savory on top. Add that butter in there and it's a perfection! After dinner, we checked out the store! It's our favorite part. Looking at all the fun things they have. My husband and I love looking at all the toys. I couldn't stay away from all the Halloween goodies. I promised my husband I wouldn't decorate early so it was hard for me not to buy anything orange and black. Cracker Barrel knows what they are doing having a fun store like this at their restaurant! Overall, dinner was good. The rolls were banger. Service was ok. It took forever for us to get sat. Our server did vanish for a while after our food was dropped off. We paid almost 4 dollars for a small glass of soda and my husband didn't even get a refill. We will just know next time to stick with water.

So, I've always been hesitant to write a review since I couldn't ever make up my mind about either loving or hating this location. We went early on a Thursday night, so there wasn't any wait. After being seated, we were quickly greeted by our friendly server. She quickly served our drinks and our orders were ready as soon as she returned. I ordered the smokehouse grilled chicken plate (2 seasoned chicken breasts) and three sides (house salad with ranch, fries and Mac & cheese) and my husband had the country fried steak with brown gravy, corn and mashed potatoes. My salad came out first with the most fresh lettuce, plump tomatoes, crisp-tender cucumbers, bacon, and large shreds of cheddar cheese. The ranch tasted like a cross between bleu cheese and ranch, was pretty thick, just wasn't my favorite. This was followed by my perfectly grilled chicken, which was exceptionally tender and juicy. My fries were a little undercooked, but that Mac and cheese was truly delicious....and I actually don't really love Mac and cheese (just sounded good). Hubby couldn't stop raving about his steak, a glowing non-stop review. Unfortunately, our server disappeared in the kitchen and didn't return for refills until our meals were almost finished. I couldn't finish my meal, so we had a lot of yummy leftovers. When we were leaving, a manager spotted me carrying multiple containers and walked up with an open bag, offering the bag to me while helping me load the containers inside (so thoughtful!). This was one of the many good visits we've had here.
