We chose "CHICKEN NOW" the food, I was told by my guest that the chicken was phenomenal. The only problem I had was that the cook was SOOO INCREDIBLY RUDE!!! HE didn't want to give any plates for the amount of food that was purchased. 1 thing I can tell you is they have NO desire to treat customers with respect. I sampled this chicken approximately a year and a half ago with a spicy grandma sauce, and I found it quite enjoyable, although the chicken pieces were excessively large; they should be bite-sized. However, on 05/10/25, I ordered boneless wings--one with habanero sauce and the other with Buffalo sauce. Unfortunately, they hardly applied any sauce. We also tried the spicy grandma sauce, which turned out to be merely a mix of ketchup and mayo. The chicken pieces were large, unlike any boneless wings I've encountered before, and they were quite fatty and slightly undercooked. It seems they may have different owners now, but the experience was disappointing. Popeyes was a better option. read more

The crispy chicken strips were lukewarm and under seasoned. The mash that I chose to have as my side was probably the worst mash I've ever encountered in my life. No taste. Huge chunks of potato (not creamy in any way). And cold. The gravy was basically just thick, brown water. No seasoning. Normally I eat the chicken tenders with the grandma sauce which is normally good money. On Saturday I decided to try the buffalo chicken sandwich. Oh no, That was a bad decision. It consisted of two tenders and they were rubbery in the middle. Only able to get through half of the sandwich before I threw it away. This review is just for the chicken and grandma sauce. When it's hot right out of the fryer it's heavenly! Big juicy chunks of breast in a crispy well seasoned batter. The grandma sauce is the best compliment to the chicken. They have a special here, 4 for $10. You get the chicken sandwich, which is pretty good with a potato bun, lettuce and tomato, covered in grandma sauce, you, also get two pieces of fried chicken strips, and a side of either fries, mash potatoes, or Mac and cheese, and you also get a drink. The mash potatoes are terrible, runny and bland. Your better off with the fries and the Mac. I've also tried the southwest salad. The first time I had it, it was a generous portion of fresh lettuce, shredded carrots and corn with chicken. The second time they barely gave me any corn and grandma sauce. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. This is how it came 2 chicken strips- 1 thick strip + 1 small strip 12 Pieces of Lettuce (they were fresh tho) 4 Slices of Tomato "Grandma Sauce" 5 broken pieces of pepper jack cheese (3 fell on the floor while i attempted to eat this mess! All of this in between a brioche bun. It was such an uneatable sandwich that i had to get a fork from the Tai place and put the different components together on the fork in order to eat. Just left. First time ever and the last time! Food took long to get which I thought was a good thing, maybe it would be fresh. We ordered a grilled quesadilla and 10 boneless wings buffalo hot. The quesadilla was soggy full of so sauce that you can barely taste any of the small amount of chicken. Wings were the worst! Wings were breaded and apparently just brushed with whatever sauce yiu choose. So parts of the boneless chicken were dry with breading. Thats not the worst part-chicken was anything but tender! It was like biting into something rubbery! I thought it was me and I tried a 2nd boneless wing-same thing. My husband also tried it and spit it out. We ended up having to throw out all the food and ordering elsewhere. This is one place that I would never buy from again. read more

Not sure if I got lucky, but the chicken tenders are huge. I expected regular chicken strips but instead I got hug chicken breasts. I'm not complaining though! Server was very rude! Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the girl at the counter decided she wanted to give me grandma sauce instead of Caesar dressing! I asked for no cheese and my salad was full of cheese. I went back to the counter to ask for Caesar dressing she told me to bring her back the grandma sauce and she'll give me a Caesar dressing! On the positive side, the fried chicken tenders are large and juicy, and the toppings were fresh. Their "Grandma Sauce" is a thinned Thousand Island dressing. I thought the breaded coating on the tenders was too salty. Only a small handful of fries (the coated kind) came with the meal. The dense, brioche bun was stale, and overpowered the sandwich. I feel compelled to review this new fast food place at coop city mall. I order two tender meals one with fries and one with mash and corn and a kids tender. Order added up to $22.00 as I checked the receipt I noticed that I was charged for sodas that I did not order. Meal is served and didn't get corn, girl claims that I didn't ask for it. Didn't get the kids drink that comes with the order, but I didn't complain because I didn't really want the soda. Girl got a little testy at this point, but I left with the food. When we opened the food at home it looked like the reheated left overs from the night before. I would not even feed it to my dog it looked so bad. I usually follow my instincts and my instinct was not to order when I first looked at the young lady at the register wearing a filthy torn t shirt that belong in the garbage just like the food they served me. The staff here is extremely ghetto and unprofessional. I ordered sole chicken there and some chubby light skinned girl with an Afro ponytail was extremely rude. I called her to ask her a question and she rolled her eyes and completely ignored me. I thought she was slow or something. I tried Chicken Now for the first time today. I was at the mall and they were giving out free samples of the fried chicken breast dipped in sauce. It tasted good so I gave them a try. I ordered fried chicken tenders - they were fresh, juicy, and not too salty. They came with a creamy dipping sauce that was very good. I ordered the macaroni and cheese as a side, it was very creamy, but very bland. I prefer my cheese go be sharper.
