The young man running the drive thru on 9.5.26 around 1pm, you're a rock star! Kind, patient, and so sweet. Kuddos to Chicken Express.

Simply 2 stars for the food. Food was good but the workers? Awful. All they do is stare and if you ask a question more than what you want to order they act like it's such burden read more

Run don't walk away. 1. They are ALWAYS out of chicken breasts. I don't think they really sale chicken breasts. I've went there 3 different days and times. They never have chicken. 2. This place couldn't be dirtier. How is it not shut down. 3. There is always something wrong. Today the drive thru was broken. Looked like the sign was there for a while. They said to get your order ready and come to window. I went to the drive thru and told them my number he said "what's that?" The order taker was a complete jerk never greeted me or was even nice. Then when I told him he said " we ain't got any". I left wo any chicken. That was my last attempt. There's not a lot of options when you're staying in Paul's Valley at a hotel but there's one less. read more

The chicken is great but where they shine is the fried apple pie. It's next level amazing. Great food and good service. read more

Chicken Express - a hand holding a packet of chicken express - Fast Food Near Me - Pauls Valley, Oklahoma

Nobody wearing gloves and there was literally a little kid working back there, she had to be like 10. Ik it's chicken express but still

Always stop here for my chicken fingers and livers whenever I travel from DFW to the City or points north. ALWAYS. It was always very good!!! NOT YESTERDAY!!! Both the fingers and the livers were very dry!! Was VERY disappointed. Then I opened up the gravy container and saw nothing but colored water!!! It was sooo runny it shouldn't even be considered gravy!!! It was disquieting! I put the lid back on and that's where it stayed. I was down the road when this happened otherwise I would have returned it all. I only a couple of piece of each and when i got back to TX, I threw all of it out. $23.72 WASTED!!! I am SO disappointed in this location!! I could always count on Chicken Express here and everywhere else to have great good. WHAT HAPPENED GUYS?? I won't be stopping anymore!!! Thanks for the many years of great good. NO MOS!!! read more

This chicken express had amazing service, fresh good food and quick! But what I loved so much about it is the inside is so clean and nice! The bathrooms were clean and I really appreciate that! Definitely recommend this location. read more

I had never eaten at a Chicken Express so we decided to drive thru on our way to Dallas. There was a short wait to order. Not a big deal. We both had chicken strips, fried okra and a roll. The chicken was really pale so I was afraid it wouldn't be good. I was wrong. It was very tasty and tender. It was hot and fresh. The okra could have used a touch more salt but it was nicely browned and crisp. The roll was amazing. Wish I could make them that soft and fluffy. For a fast food place working under a pandemic, I was impressed. read more

Wish I could leave negative stars. Didn't listen to a single word I said during my order. Order was completely wrong. Spending extra time while traveling on a timeline for a screw up, and no comp.... Took forever to get the wrong order. Had to park and go in to get napkins and straws because the girl at the window didn't ask anyone if they needed anything.... Including straws. Horrible experience. read more

Stopped by on my way to Wichita, KS and needed a snack. The gizzards with hot sauce and gravy is so damn good. That's all I've ever tried here so I can't speak for the actual fried chicken. You can get an order of gizzards, gravy, and a biscuit for under $5. It says it comes with 9 gizzards but they filled the box with about 16. Service was a little slow but my hot and fresh gizzards made up for it. read more

Chicken Express - a box of fried chicken and a bowl of ranch dressing - Fast Food Near Me - Pauls Valley, Oklahoma

I love this Chicken! We just arrived in Pauls Valley from Roanoke County, Virginia and we've been thinking about this chicken all the way! The staff made us feel right at home and the cook is magic! read more

Food was good - service was friendly Too. Line was decently long as it appeared they one of the places that just opened from Qtine

The spicy chicken had a nice crisp and spice to it, not the best, but was alright for a small town fast food restaurant. The rolls are dry however the biscuits are soft. The gravy has no flavor, ordered ranch on the side. The sweet tea is good. read more

All fried in same oils, so depending on what day of week, you could end up with catfish flavored chicken! The biscuits are the best part, but a brown gray option would be nice, the country gravy is peppery and lumps up if you don't eat it super fast. Bright and clean interior is probably the Best part. read more

If you don't want fried food and you're thinking that they probably have something grilled. Don't bother. If it isn't batted and fried then they don't carry it. It's frustrating because if you're watching your weight or have health issues then just plan to East all your calories in one meal or sit and drink a soda while your friends cow. I find this restaurant very frustrating. No salad either. Cole slaw is it. The food is good and I'll go with friends if I have to. I just wish they had some healthy choices. read more

Basically was ran by kids! They were yelling and cutting up in back. Not friendly at all... waited 27 min for chicken and it was cold.

Service was awful, waited 5 minutes in drive thru then walked in and of the nine people working not one had "the card" needed to activate the register. Fast food..... not so much Just a bunch of unmanaged kids goofing off. Not going back read more

Went in just before noon Christmas Eve. No rolls because they burned them, and only had 2 wings and 2 legs ready (other than strips). Still had to wait 10 minutes while the regular strips finished cooking. No unsweet yes ready for lobby. Had to wait while they made some. Rarely do I go in that they aren't out of something. Restaurant is clean with good employees. Poor management read more

Generally the food is pretty good. But tonight I went thru the drive through with only 2 car in front of me. I waited for over 20 minutes and there was still 1 car in front of me. They were passing the bags back and forth I finally got tired of waiting and just left very disappointed in the service. Went across the street to kfc with 3 cars in front of me and when I left and went by chicken express the we're working on the car that was behind me pitiful read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. This place is disgusting. The bathrooms had poo on the wall, the soap had been seeping out of the holder, and was all over the floor. Obviously had been there all day. The food was DISGUSTING. The only good thing about this place is that the lady who brought our food to the table. I'll never visit here again. read more

Terrible service! Waited over 10 minutes to receive acknowledgement that I was even at the register. Ordered the 4 piece chicken strips meal, they were very small and not a good value fir the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

The food was very good. The host, Cameron, was very polite and patient. The inside was clean and staff was still cleaning. Love the gizzards and gravy! Super crunchy! read more

Love their food. Very generous portions. Tasty, and not greasy!!! Abit high on costs, but about the same as their competitors. Best chicken take-out restaurant in town. read more

Ok. . I'm an Aggie so I've eaten chicken express for YEARS since it first set up shop in college station. I hate when you are used to food tasting a certain way and then when the restaurant expands, you can tell the difference. I know it wasn't just me because I let my boyfriend say it before I did, but the food was very bland. Maybe it's a Texas thing because Taco cabana, Dairy Queen and Whataburger are "the bomb" when I get it in Texas also, but were gross when I tried them in other states. So we ordered a 12 piece mixed bucket and a side of corn nuggets, green beans and fries. The corn nuggets were bland. The corn wasn't as sweet as it typically is and it tasted like salt was missing? If they used the same oil that they fried the fries in then that explains it. I'm used to extremely hot crispy fries that are lighter in color. But the fries weren't very crispy. They had the texture, appearance (a little dark) and taste of fries that sit in the oil too long and tasted like their oil was old. I didn't try the green beans but my 2 year old ate them. I don't know if that means much considering we had been on the road for about 10 hours at that point and he slept most of the way so he was starving by this point. The chicken was OK, but it seemed like it was missing a little salt also. We also ordered 4 drinks which made the total under 33 dollars. I will say that the employee who took our order and greeted us at the window was very pleasant. read more

We ate here last weekend on our way to the football game. All of the food was extremely bland and didn't have much taste at all. We both had chicken tenders and they were bland and not crispy. The gravy on my mashed potatoes was like drinking thick water and had virtually no taste. The best pet of the experience was how nice the staff was. But we won't be back because of the poor food. read more

They take forever to cook my food every time i go there and its jus a simple 4 pieces of chicken and some corn nuggets. Recently i went there and ordered a 4 piece chicken and a two piece fish combo. 20 minutes later we get the food and my chickens cold and so is the okra that was ordered with the fish. If youre gonna take 20 minutes why tf my food cold? Not coming by in the near future. read more
