Very disappointed with the food when you spend over $30 you would think it would be good. The chicken was not good. The batter was thin. The mashed potatoes were thick and hard and they didn't put any gravy and either one of my tender boxes definitely will not be going back to chicken Xpress. The prices are outrageous but the food used to be good now not so much I do know they got new ownership a little over a year ago so things have changed since that's happened. Managers, they don't care so as long as they get your money, just be wary of going there. read more

No issues on my visit. Walked in, placed my to go order, the employee brought my to go order to my table, and I hit the road with a great road trip snack, fried chicken gizzards !!! I call em Crack Balls because they're so addictive !!! They were fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. The dining area was clean and the employee I dealt with was very friendly. read more

So thankful for this location. They were one of a few places open during inclement weather. The line was long but it wasn't as long of a wait as I thought. Thank you to everyone who worked when you could have stayed home and stayed safe! We really appreciate you and all you do. read more

I eat here nearly everyday and usually only order the fish. But this time I decided to order chicken big mistake. The food was completely cold and the chicken was not cooked fresh it was old, hard and dry. I will probably still eat here because it's most convenient for me because of it's location. However I'll not be ordering chicken and continue only eating there fish read more

They always messing up my order they give me spicy instead of a regular It is just so annoying read more

If I could give it a ZERO stars I would ! First time going to this location and it was horrible experience definitely not going back! Paid for our food and got it wrong. Paid for 12 biscuits but we got 6 rolls like how? Paid for coleslaw but at the window was told they were out and the guy at the drive thru had an attitude when we ask what other sides the had. And the worst part was the hosts ALEXIUS who took our order. She was outside taking orders, but when it was our turn she walked up to our window and didn't even greet us, I had to greet her by saying "hello" and her she still sat there just staring at us. And you at the window waiting for our food you can hear them running their mouth upset like we were the ones the mess sup. Would definitely not recommend this location the one on Altamesa is way better!!! read more

This place at night is the worst place to go. When I pulled up, the drive though person name Alexius, didn't greet me and just starred at me and I just starred back for a good 10 sec until they finally asked me what I wanted. Had an attitude the whole time while taking my order, got to the window and the guy took my money and then afterwards tells me there's no coleslaw so when I asked what other side they had his response was "we got the other sides" am I supposed to know the menu by memory? After going back and fort finally got another side. But in between all the on the window you can hear the staff in the back talking about us like we're the ones that mess up our own order. I paid for a family dinner and didn't even get my 12 biscuits. NEVERE GOING BACK sorry ass place. read more

Their's no excuse for how filthy this location is. Every time I come here this place is absolutely filthy. The windows, bathrooms and floors look like they haven't been cleaned since the 80s. The food is great just the nasty environment makes you not want to visit. Also worth noting every time I come here the cashiers always a young teenage kid with attitude. Never have I come here have I been made feel welcome. Seems I'm always a burden on these workers. Don't come here. The service is terrible and and the place is filthy. You're better off going to Dennys or Braums next door. read more

Chicken Express - the receipt for the chicken express - Chicken Wings Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Possibly the worst customer service and worker was yelling at another worker while I was waiting to place my order. I wanted to walk out but was in a hurry to get something to eat. When I asked the manager if he was the manager he said yes so I told him that was very unprofessional he made the excuse that he was in the back but he wasn't. He was there. Now I know why this place has such a low rating. To bad. The corn on the cob was gross. read more

Thought I would give this place a second chance but once again the fried pickles are absolutely DISGUSTING they taste like they poured the whole container of salt into the batter!! And have been dipped in old grease. I even went inside to have them remade and this is what the man gave back to me. It is literally the nastiest food I have ever eaten. I usually go to the one in Mansfield and have never had them look like this. How can you hand this to a customer and expect them to eat it? I really wish I had just got my money back. read more

They need to get rid of those FAT potato fries those were uncooked it taste like a raw potato yuck!!! I WILL NEVER STOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!! read more

Your doors are locked during business hours. There are employees inside and pay no attention when I knocked. There is no signage on doors saying why the are locked up. Drive thru is backed up. Go across the street to the other chicken guys next time. Drive thru employee was nice. read more

Long line at the drive thru tonight, that's okay I'll wait. Finally my turn to order, Yeah! I ordered a 3 piece DARK meat chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and okra. Drive thru attendant said, very politely "it will be at least a 10 minute wait for DARK meat. Is that okay?" I said " no problem, I'll wait". Finally I pull up to the window and accidentally dropped my money. Again attendant was sweet and said " I'll get it Ma'am and it's only 2 more minutes and I'll bring your order" I said "thanks!" He brings my order and apologies for the wait and I said "no problem". I drove home eagerly could not wait to start eating my freshly made DARK meat chicken which I had been craving all day! I open the box and I got chicken STRIPS! I am soooo dissapointed i want to cry! ='( read more

The customer service was horrible at this location the workers were rude taking my order and when I got to the window the workers had an attitue I was very disappointed with the customer service read more

The customer service here is horrible!!!! I only come for the food but I always expect to be given the worst rude attitude!

Don't expect for them to have anything on hand. This is the second time going through the drive-through at lunch or a little before and them not having it. A drive-through and then I have to wait 10 to 20 minutes for my food to be done parked in front. I'll give them one star because they're always polite and at least the first time they advised me that it was gonna be a wait. This time they didn't advise me of anything until I already paid. Don't bother going through this drive-through unless you got lots of time to spare. I called and spoke to the manager and he said it takes 12 minutes to cook it to me or fish fillet but apparently it takes the same amount of time to cook the chicken because it took is much time last time I was here read more

We have tried this restaurant twice and have had bad experiences both times. We tried the second time thinking out first visit was bad timing, but no, it's just bad! Both times our orders were completely wrong! On the second visit, the worker took our order and my credit card, it took him 15mins to get our food to us, gave me back my card without a receipt and walked off. I had catch his attention to ask him how much our order was and asked if I could get a receipt, he acted as if I inconvenienced him. We will not be returning. read more

Why would you give someone cold food? Who does that? Apparently this place does. They are unorganized and you can tell they don't train their people properly. If I could give them zero stars I would. They need serious help and I won't ever be back. read more

POOR SERVICE! I walked in last night, it was just a circus! The kids working (& I use that term lightly), were all over the place! The girl at the counter spilled a cup of ice on me (she apologized), two kids were in back playing with each other by some machine with hot water in the back, another guy was sliding around behind the counter, & all the while, no one asked to take my order! (I was the only one in there too) Finally (5min later) the mgr came out of the restroom & told the girl playing in the back to get the counter, she replied, "Me? Why me?" & they went back & forth about her coming up to take my order (as the other guy that she was playing with was laughing), I quietly turned & exited the building. This is not the first time I've gotten bad service here, but it will be the last! read more

This place was awful. Only one person was in the dining room and they still had food on the tables.

Visited this location for the first time and was very disappointed. I went thru the drive thru twice because I was missing rolls and fries. Yes FRIES. My kids pack came with just chicken... in a box. None of my meals came with rolls and stated on the drive thru menu. Went back thru the drive thru and got a brown bag of fries with a single roll. When I made it home I found d that my mashed potatoes were all gravy. I called the manger and he said "I can only replace one meal because that's alot" no shit its alot I paid $25 for it!! 3 meals which were all incomplete. And the Employee were the worse and I'll just leave that at that. read more

Food was good. This review is about the girl working the front, she was just rude no. No smile or greeting and when my food was ready she just handed it over i even said thank you and she just gave me a look. Thinking it was just me so i observed her interaction with others and she was just as rude. read more

Worse chicken express I've ever been, i wish they had a zero star because that what they deserve, I used to work at one and this place is gross, the chicken was cold and it looked like a nugget instead of tender, the fries were covered in oil, the gravy was like water and cold, & the rolls were flat and soggy. These people need some training. read more

If there was a zero, this place gets it. The only way a sane person would ever eat here is in the drive through. The inside is disgusting and filthy. The crew working aren't much better. After waiting in line for over 10 minutes to get to the front, I paid with my cc and waited another 18 minutes after having paid to get my food. Meanwhile SIX OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND ME GOT THEIR ORDERS AND LEFT. When I asked what was going on they told me they needed to cook more tenders, but at least 4 of the orders that left WERE TENDERS. I asked to speak with a manager and he asked what I wanted, he was busy cooking. In the middle of explaining, he just left. To hell with this piece of Crap excuse for a restaurant. I won't be back. I recommend nobody else eats here, too. That is unless you're ok with cold, bad food cooked in the equivalent of a truck stop bathroom. Sorry to any nice truck stop bathrooms whom I may have offended. The only chicken express worse than this one is over on Sycamore School Rd, but if the Health Department has closed you several times, you probably shouldn't be in business anymore. read more

I love Chicken Express. I've tried to give them a chance. I have eaten there 2 nights in a row. The first night. I ordered a #6 with fries and a lemonade and a snack pack with tenders with Mac and cheese. The young lady quoted my total it sounded off but I would go to the window and correct it. ‍ well the young lady came out of the building and proceeded to ask for my order again. I repeated to her what I wanted and she said oh okay. She didn't hear the snack pack and she would add it. Fine. I'm good with that. Well fast forward. I have paid and waited for my food. The young man brought it out with a stoic "do you need anything else?" We checked the top box it was correct, we're starving at this point. We get home. There are no fries to be found. ‍‍ fast forward to tonight. Sent my fiancé to the same location for dinner. Ordered two side orders of fries. There are no fries to be found. I understand how fast paced fast food is. Been there done that, HOWEVER there is a severe need for retraining in this establishment. I just want my fries. ‍ read more

Never coming here again.... Waited 10 mins for a cold 2 piece tenders. Everything was cold... The manager looked like he couldn't even manage to buckle his own belt and he's in charge of running a crew? If this place could get negative stars it'd be -5. read more
