I love me some good bread. The worst part was the taste of the sub. This has nothing to do with local store employees, as they are making sandwiches per restaurant chain recipe. It was so bad that I questioned if I would finish it, but had missed lunch and was eating a late dinner so I was super hungry and didn't want to find something else to eat. Instead of handling the situation, I was accused of being rude and hung up on. I called back, and the employee who had charged me answered, immediately got defensive, told me I was "very rude," said he wasn't going to "play these games," and then blocked my number. To make it worse, I was told that I was never even there--which is unbelievable considering I was literally the only person in the store around 3:10. At that point, it's not even about the food anymore--it's about how customers are treated. There was zero accountability, zero professionalism, and not even the smallest effort to make things right. Nobody even had to apologize or remake the meal--just a simple "would you like something else?" would've gone a long way. It honestly feels like this place is being run without any real management or understanding of customer service. It's disappointing to see how far standards have dropped. I didn't enjoy the coffee, but the coffee stations didn't look as good as I'd expect. I agree with the other reviews that I have seen where training is necessary and attention needs to be given to this store by Wawa corporate.
