It's been a long time since I last had Chick-fil-A. What always impressed me most is their sandwich -- compared to other American fast-food burger places, the flavor feels more friendly to Asian taste buds. This time, they launched the Classic Cup sandwich meal, with a chance to win a Golden Cup for a year of free sandwiches. One thing I really like is that through the app, you can add tomato slices and lettuce. In my opinion, a good sandwich definitely needs some veggies to balance the flavors. I chose their signature waffle chips this time, and surprisingly, they were really crispy and tasty. For the drink, I went with the Sunshine -- a mix of lemonade and iced tea -- which was quite refreshing and unique. Come here if you want a salt lick. I hadn't been here in years. I'll never return. Whoever is in charge of the fries needs to have his or her mouth propped open while someone pours a box of Morton's down their throat! This is the equivalent of what I experienced last night when I drove away with my combo meal. The fries were coated at least 5 times over the recommended daily salt intake! There was so much salt that my mouth burned. It was straight sodium, industrial strength, stronger than any salt you'd find in your pantry. This restaurant earns the distinction of providing the saltiest fries I have EVER had in my LIFE! Hands down, no questions asked. I immediately called the restaurant as I was on the interstate. The mgr agreed that a replacement meal was appropriate. When I returned the next day, I was served another batch of salty fries-- not as ungodly as the first batch, but these were STILL bad. I looped around the drive-thru again and asked for NO SALT FRIES. I was given a fresh, unsalted batch, which proved that Heavy Handed Henry (or Henrietta) is either visually impaired, clumsy, doesn't know what salt is, or has damaged taste buds! I certainly hope that I am not the only person to have complained about fries that taste like they were soaked in saltwater for 20 years. This was a drive thru order and when I say it was crazy, it was. My son placed the order, had the lady repeat the order, and it was still incorrect when we received it. It's 3 lanes. 1 and 2 is for pick up and the third lane is if your order isn't ready, you have to drive around again to pick it up. Never, have I experienced this drive thru hassle and don't want too. They gave us the rest of our order, and the lines were extremely long when we left. I'll leave my son with visiting here again. It's too crowded, and the employees who are all outside taking orders, and passing the food to employees to pass out to consumers aren't accurate. The manager need to talk to the employees and maybe train them a bit more on accuracy. This is the first chick fil a that isn't accurate on their orders. I've only been to three Chick-Fil-A locations that I can recall - one in New Jersey, one in Greenville, South Carolina, and the one at the ATL airport. All experiences were good. I remember trying the original chicken sandwich, nuggets, waffle fries, and original lemonade. Beyond those items, I haven't really explored the menu much. I believe they are just adding a location to the island of Maui or will be soon, but with them all around me here in Georgia I won't really need to try the one back home. I recently decided to try the Jimmy Carter location and see how some of their other menu items were. I got the 8pc grilled nuggets, kale crunch instead of fries, and a diet lemonade. I like that they offer lower carb alternatives still as some places have nixed these kinds of items to simplify ordering during the pandemic. I got Polynesian and Chick-Fil-A sauce on the side. I'm not sure why they call it "Polynesian" sauce, as it doesn't really remind me of home. It tastes good though. I'm guessing there's pineapple or some kind of other tropical fruit in the mix to give it it's sweetness and name. The ordering and pick-up is super organized thru three different drive-thru lanes at this location: Two different lines to order - where they have workers outside to collect payment and your order immediately. Then, when you drive around to the window you just pick up your food. Lane three is used for exiting, since it's only a one way around the building. Everyone was wearing masks and keeping up with the social distancing which was good to see. Overall, I really enjoyed my nuggets and kale crunch. I like that the nuggets were still tender and flavorful without the breading. The kale crunch reminds me a lot of this one salad mix from Costco. I think it had broccoli and dried cranberries in some sort of slaw with nuts. This was very similar in flavor and texture. Next time I would just order extra kale and the twelve pc nuggets, since everything was so good. The lemonade for diet tasted just as good as the sugary version too. I would get that again too. Came through the drive thru on a Saturday around 5pm. My order had no napkins, no condiments, not even a straw. The food was also cold.

This is the absolute worst Chick-fil-A that I have ever been to. Unfortunately, it's the one closest to my office. The people "directing" traffic have no clue what they're doing and they create absolute chaos on a daily freaking basis. Took 10 minutes to pick up a cup of yogurt this morning. YOGURT. They had me move "because there are people behind you waiting on food." Uh, yeah, I'm waiting on food, too. Is yogurt not food? *UPDATE* just sat down at my desk, pulled the orange juice out of the bag and the SECURITY STICKER ISNT EVEN ON THE BOTTLE?!?! They don't allow you to order ahead and get curbside service anymore, but that doesn't really matter because they sucked at that, too. 15+ minutes to pick up a salad that I had ordered ahead, more than once. Earlier this week I had to circle the building 3 times before they'd give me my pre-ordered salad. As efficient and friendly as most Chick-fil-A's are, it's extra evident that these people have no clue what they're doing. Took forever and 2 different people to complete order process. Ordered one strawberry and one chocolate sundae for dessert. Got home with 2 MILKSHAKES. So they've attempted to yet again change the drive thru process to take down the lines from being wrapped around. The problem with this is they moved the staff to the other side of the drive they with no signage. I was literally stuck behind a lady for 5 minutes who didn't know and waited at the drive thru window for someone to take her order. Meanwhile the other lines is moving so now all of us are impatiently stuck because Chick-fil-A couldn't put signage up to let the customers know. I've been to this location a few times, but I had to go out of my way to review this store after I noticed that they offered a 30 nugget meal option. My friend and I decided to split this, since it was pretty cheap. I have no clue whether there were really 30 nuggets in this ridiculously large container of nuggets. But they were their usual delicious selves. Traffic getting here sucks, since it's on the infamous Jimmy Carter, right in front of Hong Kong Supermarket. I'm completely aggravated that I gave a young man my order and he was not paying any attention. I ordered a small black coffee. I think he responded "a coffee frosty". I said no a black coffee and then he asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I said no just a black coffeee. The young man is Asian he speaks English perfectly but was not paying this least bit of attention but what actually infuriated me is that after I gave him $2 for the coffee he asked me if I wanted my change. My husband spoke of his experience at the Norcross Chick-fil-A went through the drive thru today and requested that his order be made fresh. He was told that that would not be possible, since all of the orders are considered fresh. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The meal, both the fries and sandwich, were cold and nothing close to fresh. When I called the restaurant on this behalf to inform them of his experience, I spoke with a manager by the name of Mary, who confirmed that the store does not take requests for fresh orders. I explained that my husband was forced to eat the meal, as he had purchased the meal at his lunch time and needed to return to work. Instead of receiving an immediate apology and offering to make the matter right, Mary said she would have had to have inspected the sandwich for herself; in other words, my husband's opinion wouldn't count. I told her my intension was to write a review and call the corporate office to tell about the experience. Missing another opportunity to quickly make things right, Mary places me on hold for another minute, then returned to say that if my husband brought in his receipt, in the same week (which was not possible, as he had plans for lunch the next two days), he would be given another sandwich. I explained it was not just the sandwich and expressed how the quality of the famous Chick-fil-A seemed to be no better than any of the other fast food chains now. I picked a mobile order up through the drive-thru and headed home. When I arrived home and opened my food, I noticed there was a bite taken out of the sandwich. I was in complete disgust to the point that I threw up. Additionally, there was melted cheese on it although I did not order cheese on the sandwich. I called the store, and the employee was very rude. When I described the situation to the employee, she acted like she couldn't hear me. It seemed like she acted like she couldn't understand me as if I don't speak English although I am a fluent English speaking American. Finally, she handed the phone to the manager. And he only got back about one situation. Just drive the extra five miles and go to a different location. This one is a disappointment! Employees playing in parking lot. One complaining about customers coming into his lane and ordered the other to move them to her lane. Then he played and chatted with his friend in the car in front of us for at least 3 minutes while the other lane was moving and we waited. When we got to the window he rang up our entire order wrong, so we had to wait for that to be corrected. A one star based on constant BAD service. This location does not represent the service I am use to at other locations I've been to throughout the US. It doesn't seem like the employees are trained properly - quite unprofessional if you ask me. On top of that, they constantly forget to put things in the bag or get my order wrong. Just last week, they didn't give us straws and we noticed after we drove off. And guess what!!! They didn't fail me again tonight. I had to walk inside because they didn't put the ranch that I asked for in the bag. Been going here for over 3 years. Some things I have noticed is they are never rude here. But I was sitting at the pickup curve parking waiting for my food after placing the order on the app for 30 min and it said in the app the food is being prepared then ready then order completed like always but this time no one brought my food. I can not believe the people at the drive thru window saw me sitting there and did not check on me. I came in and saw they are not that busy, so I patiently waited inside at the pick up sign, but after waited for about 20 minutes, I asked one of the employee and she pressed the monitor and told me that she put my order. After 20 minutes, she just pressed the monitor and told me that she put my order through ??? Then I waited another 8 minutes, so total I waited almost 30 minutes for mobile order through my phone. Literally, the slowest, most complicated, overstuffed chick fil a. I regret it every time I'm here. Orders are wrong often and the lines are the slowest ive ever seen. Staff members can be seen inside texting and playing around. The last time I was here, I spent 15mins in the line waiting , the other line emptied and filled up twice before I made it around to the window. And then I waited another 5-7mins to get any food. All that construction and remodeling they've done over there seems to be for nothing because the quality of service has not improved. Do better. read more
